HTML - Verticle Scroll In Select Statement
I have a select box like so

I've figured out how to preselect things, but the user can't tell because it's 35 lines below the select box. Similar TutorialsCan anyone help me out? I've set up a test site for a project where I have a scrollable table within an iFrame. Techincally, its an iFrame within an iFrame which gets you to a scrollable table I also added an auto-scroll with anchor-links. Everything finally works, but I really want to remove the horizontal-scroll bar that shows up, while keeping the vertical-scroll bar. I don't want to populate all the items initially. Hence, Initially, I will load top 100 items and whenever user scrolls down and reaches the bottom of the list (say, after crossing 85th item), I want to populate the next 100 items (101th to 200th). I am using javascript to populate the options. The question is: 1. How to identify that the user is reaching the bottom of the control? If I use what I have done below to dynamically the "SELECTED VALUE=" AREA WITH A _get/$VARIABLE, I will end up with 2 identical entries in my drop-down list (such as 2 AVA entries) and I would like to avoid this. Ive been looking EVERYWHERE for a site with a code for a scroll box with a trasparent scroll bar, Ive seen the code where I can edit the size of the box as well as the color of the box itself and I know how to do THAT. how do I make it where the code displays the scroll code as well so I can fully customize it? it seems that its always hidden.. Ive tried many different ways to show a scroll but i cant solve it. How do i get a scroll when the content gets to big. I know that im not using correct XHTML-language on the page. He wants to put a banner that's linked back to his site, and then underneath a scroll box which contains the code to put the banner in anywhere. The problem is, whenever I try, and I put the code in the scroll box, it shows the banner, instead of the actual code. How can I stop the banner from showing up? Thank you I had the problem of my page shifting to the right whenever it was too long for the window to allow a scroll bar so I added this overflow-y:scroll; to the body information in the css sheet. It works fine in most browsers but I've noticed that with IE7 the scroll appears in the top part of the margin and not on the browser side. It just doesn't look right. Please advise. I have a table with the letters of the alphabet and just below that table I have a scroll box with the list of products. Each section of this list of product has an anchor that is called by the letter in the table. When the letter is clicked the scroll box scrolls to show the products with names starting with that letter. What I did so far is working. The problem is that the whole page of the website is moving up when I click a letter and not just the scroll box. How do I do to make just the scroll box to scroll? Hi, i need to add a box to the bottom of every product page of my site, (latest updates) kind of thing, i thought of an iframe, but it can't have borders, it needs to be invisible, or slight borders but no scroll bars. So i can update the contents of a "updates.htm" file and the results will be reflected on every page the iframe thing is on. kinda the same effect the "latest updates" boxes do on filehippo.com, go to an actual download page and you'll see, latest updates and most popular, i want a similar thing, using css if possible. I then put text in the middle cell, enough that it forces the cell to be greater than the height of my screen and then pushes the bottom cell off the bottom of the screen. How do i make the middle cell (with the text in) a fixed size and create a scroll bar for the text that is off the screen thus keeping the bottom border nice and tidy at the bottom of my screen?
