HTML - Forum/discussion For Web Site
Hi there,
I maintain a Rap/Hip-pop web site for a group of my friends, all that we have on the site is a quick intro, and a way in flash for people to listen through the web browser to our songs. We don't offer to sell anything at this point, and simply want to add some additional features. I was wanting to make a like a bulletin board or forum for various topics related to music and creation and other aspects of that business. I have my web site hostied by someone else, and I have access to MySQL and PHP and stuff like that, but I have limited control over permissions and stuff like that, so was wondering what is the best way to approach this, use a free service provided by someone or something simple ? If I go to http://www.q8sportway.com/forum/toast.asp it looks fine. But if I try to go to http://www.q8sportway.com/test1.asp and then click the forum screenshot at the bottom left, it looks funny. I would like it to display the redirected site, but if possible keep to the original address.. e.g. A site named www.mysite.com, with an INDEX.HTML to redirect to www.othersite.com, which displays OTHERSITE with www.mysite.com in the address bar. This is my first time posting on these forums so hello, I run forums for my clan and i am setting up the ads for it at the moment, i know how i want them set up but i am unsure how to get them to the place i want to be. I changed many of the images and some of the css that was on a default theme to make my own but I cannot figure out one thing. When you click new post and the text box shows up with subject and message the message box is cols="80" and I wan it to be cols="75" so it does not go over into the sidebar.
