JavaScript - Javascript Function Name Opens In Address Bar Istead Of Url
Hi Friends,
I am facing one problem that screw me left and right. Please share me if anyone of you faced this problem and solved already. I am using the below code to assign the javascript function on select on radio button. This may vary based on radio button selection. For some radio button selection the button will be disabled. if(yes) { document.getElementById("Name").href = "javaScript:functionA()"; document.getElementById("Name").onclick = "javaScript:functionA()"; }else { document.getElementById("Name").href = "#"; } This is the code i am using to activate the button or disable the button. For some causes i am getting "javaScript:functionA()" in the address bar instead of calling that java script method. So my new window is not showing me the correct result. Please some one advise me how to solve this problem. Thanks in advance. Regards, Jeva Similar TutorialsHi, I'm doing something wrong, I want my script to execute when the browser window opens, can someone please help me? Code:
I want to know how can i make javascript that i can use by run into in address bar.. I just need such javascript that run through address bar. My purpose is How can i check all check box in webpage that do not include all check or uncheck button? Best common example for check all or uncheck all is Quote:

Check All

 Checkbox One
Checkbox Two
Checkbox Three

Now for above code If there would not have any javascript for select all then how can i use the select all javascript that i can run through address bar. i.e how can i just check all check box by using javascript? Hello. Is the any chance to increment IP address in Javascript ? For example 11.12.13.14 plus 1 will be 11.12.13.15 I've started to modify my old script: Code: var ipa = 10.11.12.13; var partsa = []; var tempa = ipa; for ( var p = 0; p < 3; ++p ) { var dot1t = tempa.indexOf("."); partsa[p] = tempa.substring(0,dot1t); tempa = tempa.substring(dot1t+1); } partsa[3] = tempa; But do not know how to display ip like: ( parts1[0].parts1[1].parts1[2].parts1[3]+1 ) Please help. Leos hi, how can i get client mac address OR hdd id with javascript for internet explorer? Hey everyone. I need a little help and I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination with javascript. I have a simple little code script and I'd like either the onClick function (or the entire code itself, whichever is easiest) to only load once every 24 hours for each IP address. So "123.1.22.333" should only get the effect of this code once every 24 hours regardless if they revisit my site 5 times a day let's say. So here's my little script: Code:
Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks! My source : Code:

I want after newtab is opened 5s, alert window will be opened with message:"Loaded complete". Then 2s it is closed. But it isn't what I expect. Please fix it for me. Thanks in advance! This indicates that the above "address-bar javascript code" must have been stored somewhere in the current page. My question is: where is the "address-bar javascript code" stored in the current page? or equivalently, is it possible to retrieve the "address-bar javascript code" by using some other javascript codes? I checked document.childNodes and document.documentElement, but cannot find the javascript source code. Maybe the source code is stored in the window object? How to retrieve it? When clicked, each image on the left opens a div with it's own gallery of thumbnails. http://myspringslandscaping.com/portfolio.html Right now, to close a div, the category image has to be clicked a second time. How can I set it so that when one div opens, the other closes automatically? The client wants only one category displayed at a time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! For example: if select box 1 = a and select box 2 = a then open new window with URL 1 if select box 1 = a and select box 2 = b then open new window with URL 2 if select box 1 = b and select box 2 = a then open new window with URL 3 if select box 1 = b and select box 2 = b then open new window with URL 4 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Daniel How can I call a PHP Function inside a Javascript Function? This is what I have so far, but I don't think I'm doing it the right way. Any suggestions? PHP Code: <?php function phpQuery(){ $query = mysql_query("INSERT INTO mytable VALUES('','name','email')"); } ?> I made a mouseover event of a caption on a picture, when I hover the opacity of the background color of the hover and the text goes down. What I want is that when I hover over the image which the caption is floating on, the onmouseover event gets activite. For an imaginary example: Code: function unhighlight(x) { x.style.backgroundColor="transparent" } Function ActivationFuction() { activate.function="unhighlight" } thanks Hi everyone, I am pretty new at javascript OOP. I have a javascript file that has plenty of javascript functions, variables, arrays, etc. I need to convert this into an object. Here is an example: Code: var myvar1 = ''; var myvar2 = new array(); var myvar3 = new array(); var myvar4; var myvar5 = 60; var myvar6 = ''; function myfunc1(){ myvar1 = 'hello'; return myvar1; } function myfunc2(somenum=0){ myvar5 = somenum; //calling myfunc1() from within this function. //do something in here } function myfunc3(){ //calling myfunc1() from within this function. for(i=0;i<somelength;i++){ myvar2 = myvar3[i]; (something to put into the array) } } 1. I need to create an object and put ALL the varibles (myvar1 - myvar5) in that object. 2. Then the first two functions "myfunc1 and myfunc2" inside the same object. 2. And the function myfunc3 needs to sit OUTSIDE my object as a regular javascript function. It calls on myfunc1 (which is inside the object) and also inserts data into myvar2 (which is classified inside the object) and myvar3 (which is classified inside the object as well). This is what i came up with, but it's not going well: Code: var myobj1 = function(){ this.myvar1 = ''; this.myvar2 = new array(); this.myvar3 = new array(); this.myvar4; this.myvar5 = 60; this.myvar6 = ''; var myfunc1 = function(){ this.myvar1 = 'hello'; return this.myvar1; } var myfunc2 = function(somenum=0;){ this.myvar5 = somenum; //calling this.myfunc1() from within this function. //do something in here } } function myfunc3(){ //calling mynewobj.myfunc1() from within this function. for(i=0;i<somelength;i++){ mynewobj.myvar2 = mynewobj.myvar3[i]; (something to put into the array) } } var mynewobj = myobj1; HELP.....!!!! i really want to get into object oriented world, so thanks in advance. If I use function or Function to create a javascript function, does it make any difference ? Whats the difference between two and in which situation shall I use either ? Likewise whats the difference between event and Event objects of JavaScript ? Thanks |
