JavaScript - Accordion Menu Collapses After Page Load In Safari

I’m trying to implement a JavaScript that creates an accordion menu. As the script currently stands, your able to tell the first list within the menu to expand when the page loads. You do this by adding .expandfirst into the ul class tag.

My question is... Does anyone know how to edit the JavaScript so that I can also tell the menu (on some pages) to expand the second or third list? I only need one list to be expanded at any one time. Here's the script...

Hi, I mainly do PHP/MySQL coding, but I wanted to add this Javascript Accordion Menu to my site:

It works fine, but I was wondering if there was a simple way to modify the code so that the currently open menu stays open from page to page instead of closing upon each page reload?

If you go to the services section you will see a sub navigation on the left of the box. The idea of this is to have sub sections within the main headings that expand/collapse when selected. Insted when any one link is clicked the whole menu expands and not just the related sub sections.

My webpage won't load at all in Safari, unless I open it as a link from anbother site or if I manually type in the index.html after the url.

when I take out the javascript though, it work perfectly.

I always works in Firefox though.

Hi first time poster scratching his head.

I am dipping into php to create a user profilepage.php template on a wordpress site.

I have managed against all odds to create a user profile that will take info from Code:

 ?php the_author_meta('occupation'); ?

etc, but my head is spinning trying to create an accordion for

a photogallery Code:

and youtube playlist Code:

?php (the_author_meta('youtube_playlist')); ?

so I want to click on an image "MY VIDEOS" and the youtube playlist drops down, ditto with MY PHOTOS, click on the image and the gallery appears.

Is there a way to get the image(s) to load into the table after the page has loaded instead of the way I have it now?

I have 4 tabs, but I would like the imgs in tabs 2,3,4 to load after page load.

I finally got the below script working in Firefox and was really pumped about it until I realized it didn't load in Google chrome or Safari.

What this script does is its a dual onclick event which makes a hidden div appear and loads an iframe within the now visible div. Here is the code, I would love any input on how to make this work in other browsers.

I found a really nice menu (Javascript, JQuery) im not so high tech on this myself, and not the best coder either but whenever I use this menu it gives the login box on the website an error, it doesn't let people login..

I've tried to localize the error myself, but I just dont know how to fix it, I think the issue is that the site system i use doesn't support these type of scripts which gives the login errors! I'm currently using a free website system, which allows you to customize anything you want called "uCoz"

This script displays a link to a registration/login form that loads in a light box for Joomla.
I've been goin nuts trying to figure out how to get this to load on page load with a delay.

About mid-body I have: <span id="countdown1">2010-07-20 00:00:00 GMT+00:00</span> which allows for the setting of a target date to countdown to.

When the page first loads it shows the above long format target time, until the js/meta tags kick in to modify it to just show the actual countdown as 00:00:00.

I have attached countdownpro.js to this post. I tried shifting the function CD_Init() to the top of the script, and also appended it inline with the .html. I tried setting the big external script to "defer", but neither arrangement worked. I also tried placing the src file right at the top.

what it does is that it hide and show a panel by slidint it to the left.

But my client want that on page load the panel opens automatically for about 2-3 seconds just to let users know that its here. So ive written this :

I don't know if this can be done in Javascript, or requires any other language but i was wondering if this would be possible.

I would like to embed this Javascript code in to a PHP file and then for it to run automatically upon the PHP file loading:

The Javascirpt is the Facebook Share button that basically allows users that have Facebook to share the page there currently on in their Facebook status by pressing the button, but if there not logged in it shows the login page, not a problem just continue the script.

The current button i which is what i want to load automatically in the PHP file is located here, to test the functionalilty just click "Share" button in blue..

If that could be done, and if this also is possible.. i would like for the "Share" button on the external page that is loaded from the Javascript code above to be clicked automatically so in effect when ever someone visits the PHP page after clicking "Click Here to Watch/Stream 2012 Online For Free" on this page it will automatically load the Facebook Share box, and automatically click the "Share" Button and then close the page if possible, but not required.
