The button ID is "CmdFinish" and the value is "saved". Is there ANY way i can make the script run only on a page refresh? **Note** The script is for a specific page and not the whole site, so it wont run on every refresh on the site, only when it's needed on 1 page. I've read that you have to combine onchange events, but i have no idea how to do this (i've done plenty of trial and error, trying to make every item unique, but to no avail. Hi All, I have a script that is called by the onchange event on my text field (it compares the date entered into the field and issues an alert if the date is earlier than the current date). This worked great on my data entry form but I also want to use the same script in my update form. When a user makes a selection it queries the database and delivers some data. The value of the dropdown is stored in a database, but the problem is when the page is refreshed the delivered data disapears, only reappearing if you change the dropdown. How can I make the onchange event run when the page loads so that if there is already a selection, the database data will always be there, only to change if the user changes the selection? to refresh a webcam image. I want to know what it means--how often is it set to refresh? I don't know javascript so I can't tell. Is it set to refresh whenever the image is new? or what? I would like to move away from my meta-refresh page-in-an-iframe method of refreshing my webcam if I can. My cam uploads a new image every 5 seconds. I need code that would allow the new image to be seen. Will this code do it? I tried it and it doesn't seem to refresh that often. So what does it do, and can it be tweaked? Hiya all, I'm new here and fairly new to JavaScript and coding - one of my teachers said it would be a fun language to learn to help me out when our GCSE's come up so I thought I would give it a go. I am currently trying to make a roulette style of game - the first phase though is fairly basic. I want the user to click a number and then to be told if it is right or wrong and update their chips. Currently I am using a fixed number whilst building up the script for testing purposes - I will change that to a random number later on. So far I have broke the code down and the parts that work are where the user function is not there(The buttons) so i assume the function for changing a variable to what the user picks is broke. Although when printing that function it says that it has changed. Like I said I'm new here so if this is not where to post for help just let me know and point me in the wrong direction any help would be much appreciated The code is : Code:

Hello everyone, I have question that I believe is an easy fix for one of you in here. I have read that many people in here have similar questions but I can still not figure my error out.
