JavaScript - Adding Javascript To A Webpage Inside A Iframe?

I use the following code to create a hidden iFrame on a page, dynamically

i.style.display = 'none';
i.onload = function() { i.parentNode.removeChild(i);};
i.src = 'http://www.mysite.com';
document.body.appendChild(i);
i.id='frame1';

Now,

document.getElementById('frame1').contentDocument.getElementById('text01').value

Should have given me the value in 'text01', but it doesn't. It doesn't work even inside the iFrame's onload event.
('text01' is a textbox which is on the page inside the iFrame - its name and id are both 'text01')

Is there any other method to get the text in a textbox within an iFrame?

Having a big issue he i got a code that works fine in Chrome, FF, but seems unreadable by IE.

Got a main HTML code that have a DIV tag, declared like this

Then, I call, through a Flash file, an external function that says:

It would load the HTML named (pg'+nextPg+'.htm), where nextPg is a String value ("01", "02", etc).

It works WONDERFULLY in Chrome, FF, etc, but not in IE.

Does anyone know if I'm doing anything wrong?

I have a form inside an iFrame which I want to submit with javascript as the iFrame loads.

For example:

No matter how I try to submit the form I cannot get it. I have tried:

document.getElementsByName("myform")
document.myiframe.myform


all other combinations I try gives the same, i cannot access the form.

(The page inside the iFrame is from the same domain as the parent page, I am not trying to do any cross domain scripting)

Can you please assist me getting this working ?

I'm stumped at the moment trying to make something a little like seen on
Google Maps where you can search the location in text box and the map corresponding to the location will be dispalyed.
Can any one send me the Javascript for the following in which my image is paced in an iframe and the upon entering the loaction in a
textbox it image must move to that position witin the iframe.

I'm trying to create a widget for a website that will show the Recent Comments, but will limit what is shown to 1 comment per unique thread. The idea being that the popular threads don't drown out the unpopular threads in the widget.

Is there an easy way in Javascript to just invoke an XSLT on a webpage and display the results? I've read online that there is, but can find no examples that work for me. I do appreciate any help provided and thank you in advance!

I'm trying getting one of my webpage XHTML 1.0 Strict.

There is only one error left, namely:

Now, the addyourl site is mine too and I put it there because I want my page to load quicker and everything that I do to make it load quicker suggest combing CSS sheets and Javascript files, but whatever the case, I don't have the technical ability to do that. My webpage is:

I have a JavaScript drop down menu and just under it is the slide show also using JavaScript.Now when I you select the menu the drop down contents are hidden behind the slide underneath it .But if it is a still image,they appear on top of the image.
I need the menu the drop down contents to appear on top on the slide show.

Hi. Can someone tell me if it is possible to display the duration a webpage is accesssed. For example, if its a form webpage, then the time to be displayed will be = time the webpage was left (press submit button etc. or the time the viewer left the page) - time the webpage was first accessed or loaded.

I am currently creating a page to allow a user to change their password. I have a field which the user will enter their current password into and I am then using javascript to check whether this is the correct password. My passwords are encrypted using md5 and so I need to incorporate this into the javascript function. I have tried but unfortunately cannot get the correct value for the encrypted password.

im trying to incorporate a tweetme button....inside of my joomla myblog component

i entered into the core html with php tags of the blog....went to the bottom

and added in the javascript for the twitter button....it worked

but i want the url of the twitter button to point to the specific url's of each blog post

so i simply grabbed the php tag from the top of the post that determines the link for the title of the blog

I'm developing very simple web site for my gym. It has a main page, index.php and several secondary pages e.g. home.php, services.php, location.php. Secondary pages are reachable via php script called through navigation bar located in index.php. Once it's called the pages are loaded inside a main frame, which is located in index.php as well.

Everything works fine, except when I add javascript code (which presents map of the gym) inside location.php site. Body of location.php looks like this:

When I call location.php through navigation bar from index.php, the whole page reloads (instead of main frame only). It really gets on my nerves - just can see 2-3 milliseconds an empty page until the whole page appears...

I'm not really familiar with Javascript neither with PhP, but I assume it's because of onload:function(). I got this code from map service from my country (http://www.karte.hr/). I've tried to change it but it didn't work and now I have absolutely no idea what to do.

If it's permitted I can post a link to this web site so you can easily understand my issue.
