Now, I obviously left unrelated code out here; but that code is the basic of what Im working with, but the combo box is just empty in firefox. Any guidance on this? I have a php web page with a list box. I select 4 items in the list and then submit to another php file to do some processing with those selected items. Then that script calls the original script - here's my question: Is there anyway to keep the four items selected when the original page is called again? Right now only one of the items is selected. I was thinking if the itemindex is 'remembered' then maybe the other items can be too? Or no? I can get it to work but I need to add my own functionality. I'm not very experienced with JavaScript and my head has entered an infinite loop by now. The problem is that the address finder script can change the selected country in a drop-down list depending on the postcode entered by the user (using the onblur event handler). What I need it to do is to remove all other countries depending on the postcode. I can get it to remove all other countries but how do i return to the original list of countries when the postcode is changed again? Once all other counties are removed, the drop-down list will obviously only have one option left... I guess the question is also how does a function remember what it has done before, when it is called again? I have spent considerable time all over the WEB and at this forum which addressed the issue in a 50 page thread. These are my main two questions for everything below: 1. How can I have the Jukebox cycle through all tunes and then start over from the beginning? 2. How can I allow the user to select a tune from a list but not a drop down list, have the Jukebox start from the user’s selection and then play all songs to the end. Then as in #1, start over from the beginning? Per this thread I came away with basically two ways to assemble the jukebox. One uses links in a drop down list which the user can choose from. The other is to use an .m3u playlist. The user can only select a “playlist” from the drop down. Below, I have included the code for each Jukebox. To see the Jukeboxes in action please go to my website where I have posted some test pages exhibiting the jukeboxes that I am referring to. The following is the Jukebox which utilizes an .m3u playlist. If I end up using this idea I would like the tunes in the .m3u playlist to be displayed and allow the user to be able to choose a tune in the list. Another idea I found on the WEB also uses an .m3u playlist. The good thing about it is that it lists all the tunes in the playlist which the user can then select from. This jukebox calls up an entire Windows Media Player. Now i need the function loadProductK to work for both of the loadProductK's as seen below. Really need some help on this one. Essentially, I have an ASP.net page where I load a record set server side and upload it into a listbox. I'm trying to do all the movement functionalities of the listbox items client side. Specifically, I'm trying to figure out how to copy selected listbox items from one listbox to another -- on button click. I've searched for a while, but every example that I found moves the actual item into another listbox, I just want to copy the selected item to another listbox. I'm very new to JavaScript, so ff someone can provide an example or pseudo code, I would greatly appreciate it. I am building a shopping cart in Volusion. I've come really far and can find my way around HTML and CSS. But the template I am using has a zebra function that it uses on the shopping cart screen. The colors it is using are terrible, and I can't figure out how to change them. By zebra, I mean it picks every other row in a table and assigns a different background color. I am noticing in firebug that the div-ids of the items in the cart have div-ids taht are not listed in any of the CSS files in the theme. I figured out that this type of coding is usually done in JavaScripting. I tried editing that file in every logical way, and I can get no response out of it aside from my browser hanging. I even tried commenting out different sections. Also, the div-ids coming up in firebug aren't found in the .js file either. I'm not sure if you are at all familiar with Volusion, but they provide absolutely no assistance and try very hard to make things as hard as possible so customers will be desperate for their design services. All support will say is, "we are prohibited from providing any coding information. Would you like me to transfer you to sales?" They routinely remove resources that were once helpful. Nice customer service. Anyway, I've been working at this for days and I've come so far I hate being stuck at this point even though I'm just about ready to dump V. Can anyone give me any ideas on what to try? I feel like I've tried everything.
