JavaScript - Array Of Auto-generating Html Table Problem
I'm almost finished with this app for XUL / HTML Table Generation, and i have a really strange problem...
The HTML strings in the Arrays can be changed, and the HTML file saved, and the HTML page reloaded, and the changes will render. However, i have one array, no matter what i change the HTML strings to, it refuses to render the changes made to the HTML strings. The function generates multiplication tables depending on the input user provides using this interface (given below). And it generates them like this (given below). Now what I want is to generate those tables sideways not downwards. Not all the tables, but it should complete one table downwards, then start the new table on its side. I can't seem to figure out anything that would make that happen, and ideas would be appreciated, thanks. Regards, Papichoolo. I have most of the coding complete with the exception of the letter generation. I CANNOT GET THIS! I created a for loop to generate a specified number of input type fields onto the page within my form. The for loop will not work! to my knowledge all the code within the for loop is correct... please help me out! Here is all the code regarding this problem... Code:

Hey, i am just trying to learn javascript and my friend gave me a little assignment to try and figure out. i am having trouble figuring it out and need some help. basically i just want to display the information in my associative array, into an html table. var NFC_east = new Array(); NFC_east[0]=["Giants", 16, 0, "Eli Manning"]; NFC_east[1]=["Cowboys", 0, 16, "Tony Romo"]; NFC_east[2]=["Redskins", 0, 16, "Donnovan McNabb"]; NFC_east[3]=["Eagles", 0, 16, "Mike Vick"]; that's my array. now i need to display that in a table with a Team column, wins column, loses column, and a quarterback column. i basically want to do this using a for loop, and he gave me a hint about using a nested while loop as well somehow. i know i need to use getElementById, id, and innerHTML stuff but i just don't know how to do it. i cant find anything to help me with this simple task, hoping someone here could help. I need some help making a button function do what I want it to do. I have a index page that shows all my projects in a table with tabs you can click on that shows certain parts of all projects (ie tab for finance, project title). For now, every single project is shown on the website when you bring up the index page. Also the top part of the page, where I have the issue, there is a drop down list of all the projects with a "GO" button next to it. I want a user to be able to scroll down that list and click the button and the page would only show that particular project, ie choosing the tabs to go back and forth dealing with the one project only. The tabs are each its own .php file with the exact coding in all of them. Here is what I have on my index page that I need help on in order to make this button work. Any help will be appreciated. But the other alert statements shows only the value of the last row of the table. i.e., my table has 9 rows. and all the alert statements shows 9th row's 2nd column's value outside the for loop. I'm having an issue with displaying data from one array that contains information about users in a table that is controlled by a different array. Is it possible to do this or is this use of arrays to display the data the wrong approach? The table is located on one webpage, I simply want to extract one piece of information that I have placed in the initial array as part of the login script that contains user information (for validation for login etc) and display it in a table on the new webpage that is opened as a result of successful validation of the user details. i have this code included within a .php file on my website. I realised that my %age rules defining the width of my website page dont really work once i get to wider sizes so i want to use a fixed width page design using css code (only once wide enough) to achieve this. The list of words I have is a straight list with no commas or anything. I am currently outputting to a text box, but I am looking to generate words according to users input. For example, a user wants 500 words starting with the letter "b" and is less than 5 characters long appended to the character "de." Any help would be awesome! Even a right direction. Hello, I have this idea, but I wouldn't want to reinvent the wheel if it's already been done.
