JavaScript - Need Help With Change In Js Code
I have a javascript for a tree view but i need to change it according to the requirement. Lets start with example with the treeview as follow:
1 Door phone 1.1 Ready Kits 1.1.1 Audioset 1.1.2 Videoset 1.2 Audio Kits 1.2.1 Elphone 1.2.2 Video Door phone 2 CCTV 2.1 Camera 2.1.1 Dome Camera 2.1.2 IP Camera 2.2 Others Now the thing is in the current treeview a single category is open at a time. like if 1.1.1 is open 1.1.2 will b closed and similarly if 1.1 is open...1.2 will b closed. But i want that when i click on 1(Door phone) ie Door phone...evry node should be opened instead of just one similary when i click on 2(CCTV), all its node should be opened. I have just about every thing all set up on my blog now just the way I like it but a few bits of code are not working exactly like I'd want them to. I would like the js to force vertical scrolling to be default first, then if then is no vertical scrolling or if it runs out then the horizontal scrolling takes over. Currently it seems to occur in reverse order. For example if you go to one of the posts individual pages that are long: http://thezombiesurvivalist.tumblr.c...esh-in-n-y-l-a then it will scroll left and right before scrolling up and down. Many thanks in advance, Jock Hello. I'm trying to improve page loads times on my site and I've tracked the issue down to the share buttons we have. We load the Tweet Button, Facebook Like Button, and Google +1 button sometimes up to 25 times on one page. What I'd like to do is, on initial load, display an image that looks like the Tweet Button, for example, and then when hovering over a div, change to the actual Tweet Button code. I know how to do this in general, but the key is that the actual tweet button code doesn't load when the page loads, only when you hover over the div does the actual code load. but the action i want is: on hovering over the image (location: "lrgPic" in above code) images should keep on changing grabbing the location from array ("my_array" above) and the image change should happen after every sec. i have tried "setTimeout" function; but it's not working as desired. with the code which is commented above.. i want to reset the loop so that images are continuously changed till "onmouseOut" is performed... any clues guys.. how can i improve on this code? with this code.. my script goes in infinite loop.. please help thanks in advance Hi sorry if this is a very simple question but how do I change the font color for certain elements of this javascript code that the client sees on their brower? basically i have a form with lots of fields.. drop down boxes and textarea's and standard input text.. now what i need is a way to change all of these fields with a fetch button. i can get the value for the fields from the perl script on my server side. the form basicslly sends lots of fields to my perl script and saves each field of data into seperate text docs. now my customer would like to retrieve the data back to the form to change aspects of it to be resubmitted . i am struggling with the simplist of codes to set the value of the fields from a javascript variable any ideas please. I have a javascript code, which initiates via "onClick" when a user clicks on a checkbox. I downloaded the sample code, but the problem is is that I need the javascript to be initiated automatically, not when a user clicks on a checkbox. I get the code to work when I click the checkbox, and it satisfies my needs, but having a checkbox toggle is not exactly ideal for this function. I need to know how to edit the following, if there is a simple way to set the case for each one as they are not all split up into the same way, some are Districts, some states and whatnot so the new question varies. I'm trying to get my Client Side Firefox DHTML app to display a list of eBooks. For this, i have the following files F:\Textbooks.html F:\eBooks.txt F:\FirstBook.txt F:\SecondBook.txt F:\ThirdBook.txt textbooks.html is my DHTML app eBooks.txt is the Library file with a listing of all of my eBooks. Inside of eBooks.txt is the following data: ----------------- FirstBook.txt, SecondBook.txt, ThirdBook.txt, ----------------- FirstBook.txt to ThirdBook.txt are my actual ebooks. From time to time, I need to send password information or login details and password information to some users. At the moment, am doing it via email with a subject named FYI and the body of the email basically just contain the login and the password or in some case, just the password. What am wanting to know is whether I can put these information into a HTML file which contains an obfuscated Javascript with a button that a user will click that will prompt for his login information and then will display the password. In its simplest form, I guess I am looking for a Javascript that will obfuscate a HTML file that contains the password. Anyway, hopefully someone understand what am looking for.
