JavaScript - Dynamic List Of Tagged Posts, Tumblr
Hello.
Been searching all night for a way to do this, so thanks in advance for any help forthcoming. I'd like to be able to create a list of post titles that share the same tag in tumblr (rather than a list of tags). Tumblr allows you to filter your posts by tag by typing in a url, but this brings up a full page of posts, and I'd just like a list of the titles that I can then use as a menu. Hope this all makes sense. I'd imagine this is fairly simple as the capability to filter by tag already exists, but I cannot for the life of me work out how to do it. Thanks again. Similar TutorialsHowdy, So I have some javascript/html on one file (another.html) that I would like to split into two separate pages: home2.html cars.js If you view the code for home2.html everything works up until the model form box. That's where my problem lies. I can get the code to work on another.html but I'm splitting it up incorrectly in home2.html Help would be much appreciated. PS: If you are going to gripe at me for not using PHP or SQL to make things easier (for future updates to code) at least link me to something to learn from then insult me. another.html Code: <html> in next post-- hello, i am writing a script that will update a dropdown list based on the selection of a previous list. the script is run by a PHP script, so instead of posting the PHP, i will post an example client-side script. the hierachy is: category, sub category, brand (but sometimes there exists no sub category and the PHP script queries and adds brands instead) everything works correctly, except for one major issue: you can not change the selection of the third (brand) box this could be an easy fix for some coders, but i am not experienced in javascript and could really use some help. here is an example script, sorry it is so long Code: <script language="javascript"> function fillprodCat(){ // this function is used to fill the category list on load following code in response to a recent question in this forum, but it has a defect which I can't overcome. If the user types "a" then the select box is populated with "Choose An Animal...", then the three three animals beginning with A. So far so good. But if the user selects say Albatross and then types the letter b then the option "Bear" is selected rather than "Choose An Animal". Although the code is sel.selectedIndex = 0; (not 1). Question - How can I force the selected index to 0 when a choice has been made previously? Is this a bug - if so it is the same in IE and FF. Code: <html> <head> </head> <body> <form name = "myform"> <select id = "mysel" onchange = "alertValue()"> </select> </form> <script type = "text/javascript"> function alertValue() { var x = document.getElementById("mysel").value; alert ("You selected " + x); } var words65 = ["Albatross","Anteater", "Aardvark"]; var words66 = ["Bear", "Bat","Bison", "Bobcat"]; var words67 = ["Cat", "Cougar","Canada Goose", "Caribou"]; var key; document.onkeydown = function(ev) { ev = ev || event; key = ev.keyCode; if ((key >= 65) && (key <= 90)) { // a-z tmp = eval("words" + key); var sel = document.getElementById("mysel"); sel.options.length = 0; sel.options[0] = new Option('Choose An Animal...','',true,true); // text value defaultSelected selected for (var i=0; i<tmp.length; i++){ if (tmp[i]) { sel.options[sel.options.length]=new Option(tmp[i],tmp[i],false, false); // text value defaultSelected selected } } sel.selectedIndex = 0; // WHY DOES THIS NOT WORK? } } </script> </body> </html> Hi Chaps, I have a dynamic list menu: PHP Code: <?php $currentCat = ''; $first = true ;?> <ul> <?php do { if ($currentCat != $row_rsCategory['catname']) { if (!$first) { echo "\n</ul>\n</li>\n"; } $currentCat = $row_rsCategory['catname']; ?> <li><?php echo $row_rsCategory['catname']; ?> <ul> <?php }?> <li><?php echo $row_rsCategory['galleryname']; ?></li> <?php $first = false; } while ($row_rsCategory = mysql_fetch_assoc($rsCategory)); ?> </ul> </li> </ul> I've tried looking for a show/hide script, to toggle category names/gallery names, but could only find ones that have static menu options, and have failed to edit existing code to fit....any help or guidence would be appreciated! I'm trying to use this code to create 6 sets of (each set 2 Dynamic List boxes). However I have the problem that Category 1-6 selection does not select the correct (adjacent) subcateory list box and instead populates the last selection in subcategory list box 1. How can I set the Java/HTML code so that for example Category #3, populates the selection/case into SubCategory#3 list box? Form Code (only with 2 Category, SubCategory) this when working will be expanded to 6. I am developing this with asp.net mvc. When a user goes to the SendMessage view to send a message to another member, there is a dropdown list which presents the sender with all the members of the site, which he or she will pick as the recipient. However, i don't want it to be a dropdown, i want it to be a text box, where a user types in the first couple of letters of a name, and the dropdown appears then with only the members which have the same couple of letters. This is basically like every email system out there (facebook and gmail have it just like that). And after they chose one, they can select another one in the same textbox, just separated by a comma or something like that. Basically, how do i achieve that in javascript? I'm not even sure what that functionality is called, that's why i had to explain it properly. Any help is greatly appreciated. thank you I have a form that has a pretty complicated combo box - a user starts typing text, it queries a database for matches, and displays the results to the user. The user can then select the match they desire and it has a value id, which I am currently sending to a hidden field in the form. So, for example: user starts typing in a movie name, Seven - it returns Seven and user selects it. The form submits the id of the movie seven (say 12) to a hidden field. Where I am stumped: Once a user selects a movie title, I have another drop down select box that is to display the available formats of the movie by querying my database based on the product id (12) and returning the available formats in the list: DVD BLUERAY VHS I am pretty good at programming, but I cannot figure this out - how to make the select box fire and return results once the value for the textbox has been captured. Can anyone help me? Hi all, I have a question (probably simple, as I'm a novice) for you. I'm finishing a tumblr theme in which I have my menu stick to the top of the window as I scroll down, and unstick when I scroll back up. It's working fine, except that if I scroll down and then refresh the page, the menu goes back to the middle of the page. Hard to explain, but you can see for yourself on my test page. Is there any way to make the menu stay on top through a refresh? My complete code is included below (apologies for its ugliness). Thanks in advance. I'm wish to implement something similar to what Tumblr does on their front page where you click on the bottom footer bar, and the page horizontally shifts up keeping part of the original page (specifically, the email sign up) visible while exposing more content. I know the simplest is to have the entire content on the page and just "hide" and "show" the interested components "on click" of the bottom footer bar div-tag. But I like the sliding animation. Does YUI or JQuery provide the ability to do the animation? Or is this even a Javascript related functionality - ie should I look at HTML5 or CSS? Thanks Jack So, I've designed a basic site and everything is fine except for the posts. You can see the site here. What I'm talking about is this: Code: <div id="posts"> <h1>Bonjour</h1> <p>Welcome to my website! Please note that it's fairly new, and so it might still go under some construction, so don't expect what you see now to be stay the same forever. Furthermore, if you have any suggestions, please run them by me and I'll take them into consideration.</p> <p>As of 9/23: Working on Adding Games.</p> <br> </div> The CSS code for it is: Code: #posts{text-indent:15px;background-color:#424242;border:3px solid #e0e0e0;position:absolute;left:212px;top:180px;width:565px;} Now, the post is only one post, and I can't add any more as it is only one div. I was wondering if there was an easy way to make a master, parent div and all the div's inside it would be transformed into div's that are respectively positioned under it, automatically. ^^ Now, I liked that idea at first but then I thought of the technicalities such as having to use HTML to write blog posts which would be kind of ridiculous and I was wondering if anyone knows how of a simple-free easy to integrate blog system which could be embedded into my site without having to re-design everything. Hi all, Maybe I'm missing something simple here, but for some reason this form validates in both IE and Firefox, but it doesn't submit in IE. Little yellow exclamation icon appears on the status bar on form submit. Any help would be great. Thanks! Code: /* Creation Date: Dec 8, 2009 Description: */ function validate_school_form() { var valid = false; var error = ""; if (element("fname").value.length < 1 ){ error += "Please enter your first name.<br/>"; element("fname").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("fname").style.border = ""; } if ( element("lname").value.length < 1 ){ error += "Please enter your last name.<br/>"; element("lname").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("lname").style.border = ""; } if ( !validate_email_address(element("email").value) ){ error += "Please enter a valid email address.<br/>"; element("email").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("email").style.border = ""; } if ( element("addr").value.length < 1 ){ error += "Please enter your street address.<br/>"; element("addr").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("addr").style.border = ""; } if ( element("zip").value.length != 5 || isNaN(element("zip").value) ){ error += "A zip code must be 5 digits.<br/>"; element("zip").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("zip").style.border = ""; } if ( element("city").value.length < 1 ){ error += "Please enter your city.<br/>"; element("city").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("city").style.border = ""; } if ( element("state").value.length < 1 ){ error += "Please enter your state.<br/>"; element("state").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("state").style.border = ""; } if (( element("phone1").value.length != 3 ) || ( element("phone2").value.length != 3 ) || ( element("phone3").value.length < 4 ) ){ error += "Please enter a valid phone number.<br/>"; element("phone1").style.border = "1px solid red"; element("phone2").style.border = "1px solid red"; element("phone3").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("phone1").style.border = ""; element("phone2").style.border = ""; element("phone3").style.border = ""; } if ( element("gender").selectedIndex == 0 ){ error += "Please enter your gender.<br/>"; element("gender").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("gender").style.border = ""; } if ( element("birth_day").selectedIndex == 0 ){ error += "Please enter a valid day of birth.<br/>"; element("birth_day").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("birth_day").style.border = ""; } if ( element("birth_month").selectedIndex == 0 ){ error += "Please enter a valid month of birth.<br/>"; element("birth_month").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("birth_month").style.border = ""; } if ( element("birth_year").selectedIndex == 0 ){ error += "Please enter a valid year of birth.<br/>"; element("birth_year").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("birth_year").style.border = ""; } if ( element("program_type").selectedIndex == 0 ){ error += "Please enter your program of interest.<br/>"; element("program_type").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("program_type").style.border = ""; } if ( element("level_of_education").selectedIndex == 0 ){ error += "Please enter your level of education.<br/>"; element("level_of_education").style.border = "1px solid red"; } else { element("level_of_education").style.border = ""; } if ( error != "" ){ alert('Error! I am trying to make this page work where new posts that get posted to it append smoothly on refresh instead of sliding up and down like they do now. Right now, you hit reply on your post and the entire thing goes up then unfolds again with the new post there, but the place is lost where you were on the paeg and you have to scroll down and I think that is not that user friendly. I want it to just pop or slide down under the existing posts so that the place on the window isn't lost for the user. The profile page is here. I am talking about the profile threads. It's a little bit like a facebook wall. If you need more info I will try and get it. Thank you in advance! Hi All, i know how to create a dynamic form or DIv ..but what i do not know is how to create a dynamic form/ or div into a previous dynamic one.. i need basically to see 5 dynamic forms / DIV in cascade where each one trigger the one coming after.. For what i need that : i have my user inserting information on the level 1. let say Copagny info 2- then he will be asked if he wants to add a sub level information ( subform) for that compagny or even many subforms at the same level .. and so on... 3- those sub level ( subforms ) can also call their respective subforms.. Any idea how to design this ? thanks I have made a script where you can add extra fields, and next to the row is a span that automatically displays the outcome from a calculation of three fields in that row. i.e. Q x (B - A) = total. Here is the bit that does the calculation: Code: function advCalc(selected) { var result = Number(document.formmain.elements["quantity"+selected].value) * (Number(document.formmain.elements["provideamount"+selected].value) - Number(document.formmain.elements["supplyamount"+selected].value)) ; result = result.toFixed(2) ; result = addCommas(result) ; document.getElementById("total"+selected).innerHTML = result ; } The bit that adds a new row of fields is: Code: function addPart(divName){ var newdiv = document.createElement('div') ; newdiv.setAttribute('id', 'partrow' + counter) ; newdiv.setAttribute('style', 'clear:both;') ; newdiv.innerHTML = "<div style='float:left;width:40px;text-align:center;margin:5px 5px 0px 0px;'>\r<input onkeyup=\"advCalc('" + counter + "')\" id=' quantity " + counter + "' type='text' value='1' size='1'/>\r</div>\r<div style='float:left;width:100px;text-align:left;margin:5px 0px 0px 0px;'>\r<input id='manufacturer" + counter + "'type='text' value='' size='9'/>\r</div>\r<div style='float:left;width:95px;text-align:left;margin:5px 5px 0px 0px;'>\r<input id='partnumber" + counter + "'type='text' value='' size='9'/>\r</div>\r<div style='float:left;width:80px;text-align:left;margin:5px 5px 0px 0px;'>\r<input id='supplier" + counter + "'type='text' value='' size='4'/>\r</div>\r<div style='float:left;width:100px;text-align:left;margin:5px 5px 0px 0px;'>\r<input id='type" + counter + "'type='text' value='' size='6'/>\r</div>\r<div style='float:left;width:85px;text-align:left;margin:5px 5px 0px 0px;'>\r<input id='deliverytime" + counter + "'type='text' value='' size='13'/>\r</div>\r<div style='float:left;width:40px;text-align:left;margin:5px 0px 0px 45px;'>\r<select id='supplyCurrency" + counter + "'>\r<option value='pound' selected='selected'>£</option><option value='dol'>$</option><option value='euro'>€</option></select>\r</div>\r<div style='float:left;width:15px;text-align:left;margin:5px 5px 0px 0px;'>\r<input onkeyup=\"advCalc(\'" + counter + "\')\" id=' supplyamount " + counter + "'type='text' value='' size='3'/>\r</div>\r<div style='float:left;width:40px;text-align:left;margin:5px 0px 0px 45px;'>\r<select name='provideCurrency" + counter + "'><option value='pound' selected='selected'>£</option><option value='dol'>$</option><option value='euro'>€</option></select>\r</div>\r<div style='float:left;width:15px;text-align:left;margin:5px 5px 0px 0px;'>\r<input onkeyup=\"advCalc(\'" + counter + "\') id=' provideamount " + counter + "' type='text' value='' size='3'/>\r</div>\r<div style='float:left;width:20px;text-align:left;margin:5px 0px 0px 45px;'>\r<strong>£</strong>\r</div>\r<div style='float:left;width:40px;text-align:left;margin:5px 5px 0px 0px;'><span id=' total " + counter + "'></span></div> \r" ; document.getElementById(divName).appendChild(newdiv) ; counter++ ; } The problem I am having is that it works fine for the first row which is hardcoded as e.g. id="provideamount0" etc. It isn't working for any other fields added but I can't see what is wrong Hi all, I have been struggling on a bit of code for a while now. I need to populate a second drop down list (Region) based upon the selection of the first (County). I have found a piece of code that works on its own and have adapted to suit my needs - see below. However, when I drop it into my main page the javascript is not working. It's because of the formObject but I just don't know enough to resolve this! Furthermore, I need the textboxes the user has already completed in the form to retain their value once the javascript kicks in as the completed form will submit to a database. This piece of code is working well . . . . Code: <?php $link = mysql_connect('myhost', 'myusername', 'mypassword') or die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error()); mysql_select_db('mydatabase') or die('Could not select database'); if(isset($_GET["County"]) && is_numeric($_GET["County"])) { $County = $_GET["County"]; } if(isset($_GET["Region"]) && is_numeric($_GET["Region"])) { $Region = $_GET["Region"]; } ?> <script language="JavaScript"> function autoSubmit() { var formObject = document.forms['theForm']; formObject.submit(); } </script> <form name="theForm" method="get"> <!-- County SELECTION BASED ON city VALUE --> <?php ?> <select name="County" onChange="autoSubmit();"> <option value=''</option> <?php //POPULATE DROP DOWN MENU WITH COUNTRIES FROM A GIVEN city $sql = "SELECT * FROM county_regions"; $counties = mysql_query($sql,$link); while($row = mysql_fetch_array($counties)) { echo ("<option value=\"$row[CountyID]\" " . ($County == $row["CountyID"]? " selected" : "") . ">$row[County]</option>"); } ?> </select> <?php ?> <br><br> <?php if($County!= null && is_numeric($County)) { ?> <select name="Region" onChange="autoSubmit();"> <?php //POPULATE DROP DOWN MENU WITH RegionS FROM A GIVEN city, County $sql = "SELECT * FROM county_regions WHERE CountyID = $County "; $Regions = mysql_query($sql,$link); while($row = mysql_fetch_array($Regions)) { echo ("<option value=\"$row[CountyID]\" " . Thanks in advance for your help. I would like to make an ordered list, for example: 1. Airplane 2. Boat 3. Car I'd like one of the words to be displayed on my webpage, for example: Boat Then I'd want an up button, and a down button. The up button would display Airplane instead of Boat, and the down button would display Car instead of Boat. Once it got to Car, the same up button would change it back to boat. How do I do this? Thanks. 09-01-10 Not sure exactly where to post this thread as it involves HTML, Javascript and embedded media players. It probably would be more appropriate here as there is much Javascript involved.... Hello, I am trying to construct a Jukebox for my website. I have spent considerable time all over the WEB and at this forum which addressed the issue in a 50 page thread. Please see: http://codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=50666 I got a lot of ideas from this thread but still cannot figure a way to do the following within the Jukebox. These are my main two questions for everything below: 1. How can I have the Jukebox cycle through all tunes and then start over from the beginning? 2. How can I allow the user to select a tune from a list but not a drop down list, have the Jukebox start from the user’s selection and then play all songs to the end. Then as in #1, start over from the beginning? Per this thread I came away with basically two ways to assemble the jukebox. One uses links in a drop down list which the user can choose from. The other is to use an .m3u playlist. The user can only select a “playlist” from the drop down. Below, I have included the code for each Jukebox. To see the Jukeboxes in action please go to my website where I have posted some test pages exhibiting the jukeboxes that I am referring to. The following is the Jukebox which utilizes an .m3u playlist. If I end up using this idea I would like the tunes in the .m3u playlist to be displayed and allow the user to be able to choose a tune in the list. Then have the list play to the end of all tunes in the list. Then start over from the beginning of the list. After this code is the .m3u playlist. Go to url removed and click on the link that says: “Media Player Using an .M3U Playlist” Jukebox utilizing an .m3u playlist: Code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <title>Untitled Document</title> <style type="text/css"> body { text-align:center; } </style> <script type="text/javascript"> function PlayIt(what){ player.document.getElementById('music').innerHTML='<object width="300" height="300" ' +'classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" ' +'codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701" ' +'standby="Loading Microsoft Windows Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject">' +'<param name="url" value="'+what+'">' +'<param name="uiMode" value="full">' +'<param name="autoStart" value="true">' +'<param name="loop" value="true">' +'<embed type="application/x-mplayer2" ' +'pluginspage="http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/" ' +'showcontrols="true" uimode="full" width="300" height="45" ' +'src="'+what+'" autostart="true" loop="true">' +'</object>'; } </script> </head> <body> <div id="music"> <object width="300" height="300" classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701" standby="Loading Microsoft Windows Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject"> <param name="url" value=""> <param name="uiMode" value="full"> <param name="autoStart" value="true"> <param name="loop" value="true"> <embed type="application/x-mplayer2" pluginspage="http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/" showcontrols="true" uimode="full" width="300" height="45" src="" autostart="true" loop="true"> </object> </div> <br> <br> <select name="player" onchange="PlayIt(this.value)"> <option value="none">::Choose a Song::</option> <option value="JukeboxList.m3u">Jukebox List</option> </select><br> </html> Here is the .m3u playlist for the above code: Code: #EXTM3U #EXTINF:Bill Evans - G Waltz media/G Waltz.mp3 #EXTINF:Dan Pincus - In Your Time media/In Your Time.mp3 The following code is for the Jukebox that has a list of links in a dropdown list. If I go with this idea, I would like for the list not to be a dropdown list but just a list of tunes. The user should be able to click on any tune in the list and the player should start from that point, play all the remaining tunes in the list and then start from the beginning. Go to url removed and click on the link that says: “Media Player Using Links” Code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <title>Untitled Document</title> <style type="text/css"> body { text-align:center; } </style> <script type="text/javascript"> function PlayIt(what){ player.document.getElementById('music').innerHTML='<object width="300" height="300" ' +'classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" ' +'codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701" ' +'standby="Loading Microsoft Windows Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject">' +'<param name="url" value="'+what+'">' +'<param name="uiMode" value="full">' +'<param name="autoStart" value="true">' +'<param name="loop" value="true">' +'<embed type="application/x-mplayer2" ' +'pluginspage="http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/" ' +'showcontrols="true" uimode="full" width="300" height="45" ' +'src="'+what+'" autostart="true" loop="true">' +'</object>'; } </script> </head> <body> <select name="player" onchange="PlayIt(this.value)"> <option value="none">::Choose a Song::</option> <option value="media/GWaltz.mp3">G Waltz</option> <option value="media/InYourTime.mp3">In Your Time</option> <option value="http://urltosong3.mp3">Song 3</option> <option value="http://urltosong4.mp3">Song 4</option> <option value="http://urltosong5.mp3">Song 5</option> </select><br> <div id="music"> <object width="300" height="300" classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701" standby="Loading Microsoft Windows Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject"> <param name="url" value=""> <param name="uiMode" value="full"> <param name="autoStart" value="true"> <param name="loop" value="true"> <embed type="application/x-mplayer2" pluginspage="http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/" showcontrols="true" uimode="full" width="300" height="45" src="" autostart="true" loop="true"> </object> </div> </html> Another idea I found on the WEB also uses an .m3u playlist. The good thing about it is that it lists all the tunes in the playlist which the user can then select from. This jukebox calls up an entire Windows Media Player. If I was to use this idea I would like to be able to disable the left side of the player where the user has options such as burning to CD, Media Guide, Radio Tuner etc… Go to url removed and click on the link that says: “Media Player Within an IFrame Using .m3u Playlist”” Code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"> <title>JukeBox</title> <meta http-equiv="pragma" content="no-cache"> <meta http-equiv="Expires" content="-1"> </head> <body> <IFRAME name="frame" src="JukeboxList.m3u" width="100%" height="347" scrolling="no" frameborder="0"> [Your user agent does not support frames or is currently configured not to display frames.] </IFRAME> </body> </html> Thanks! Dan Hello everyone. I was hoping i could get some help from a php or a javascript pro. At the moment my site has been set up to load more posts in the same page instead of browsing 1,2,3..20 but there is a bit of a problem. After a few seconds of browsing a number pops up on my feed and shows the number of posts i have chosen to load in text format. Then all posts get reset back to 90 and i get scrolled back up to the top automatically. Could you please take a look at this php and javascript code and tell me what the problem is? $D->num_results = 0; $D->start_from = 0; $D->posts_html = ''; if( $q1!='' && $q2!='' ) { $D->num_results = $db2->fetch_field($q1); $D->start_from = $this->param('start_from') ? intval($this->param('start_from')) : 0; $D->start_from = max($D->start_from, 0); $D->start_from = min($D->start_from, $D->num_results); $res = $db2->query($q2.'LIMIT '.$D->start_from.', '.$C->PAGING_NUM_POSTS); $D->posts_number = 0; ob_start(); while($obj = $db2->fetch_object($res)) { $D->p = new post($obj->type, FALSE, $obj); if( $D->p->error ) { continue; } $D->posts_number ++; $D->p->list_index = $D->posts_number; $this->load_template('single_post.php'); } unset($D->p); $D->posts_html = ob_get_contents(); ob_end_clean(); } if( $this->param('from') == 'ajax' ) { echo 'OK:'.$D->posts_number.':'; $display echo $D->posts_html; die(); } if( $show=='all' || $show=='@me' || $show=='private' || $show=='commented' || $show=='feeds' ) { $this->network->reset_dashboard_tabstate($this->user->id, $show); } and my javascript function my_scroll_page_to(h) { if( document.body.scrollTop === undefined ) { w.scroll(0, h); return; } var start_scroll = parseInt( typeof(w.pageYOffset)=='number' ? w.pageYOffset : document.body.scrollTop, 10); if( isNaN( start_scroll ) ) { w.scroll(0, h); return; } if( start_scroll == h ) { return; } var step = start_scroll>h ? -12 : 12; var breakf = false; var func = function() { start_scroll += step; w.scroll(0, start_scroll); if( start_scroll == h ) { return; } if( step > 0 && start_scroll > h ) { return; } if( step < 0 && start_scroll < h ) { return; } if( breakf ) { return; } setTimeout( func, 1 ); } func(); document.body.addEventListener("orientationchange" , function(){ breakf = true; }, false); } function load_more_results(div_id, current_results, all_results) { current_results = parseInt(current_results, 10); all_results = parseInt(all_results, 10); var url = w.location.href.toString(); if( ! url ) { return; } if( url.substr(0, siteurl.length) == siteurl ) { url = url.substr(siteurl.length); if( url.indexOf("#") != -1 ) { url = url.substr(0, url.indexOf("#")); } url = siteurl+url+"/from:ajax/start_from:"+(current_results+1)+"/r:"+Math.round(Math.random()*1000); } else { url = url.replace(/^http(s)?\:\/\//, ""); url = url.substr(url.indexOf("/")); if( url.indexOf("#") != -1 ) { url = url.substr(0, url.indexOf("#")); } url = siteurl+url+"/from:ajax/r:"+Math.round(Math.random()*1000); } var req = ajax_init(false); if( ! req ) { return false; } req.onreadystatechange = function() { if( req.readyState != 4 ) { return; } var txt = trim(req.responseText); var num = txt.match(/^OK\[0-9]+)\:/g); if( ! num ) { return; } num = num.toString().match(/([0-9]+)/); num = parseInt(num, 10); if( ! num ) { return; } txt = txt.replace(/^OK\[0-9]+)\:/, ""); txt = trim(txt); var dv = document.createElement("DIV"); dv.innerHTML = txt; document.getElementById(div_id).appendChild(dv); setTimeout( function() { my_scroll_page_to(dv.offsetTop-30); }, 5); if( current_results+num+1 >= all_results ) { document.getElementById("loadmore").style.display = "block"; } document.getElementById("loadmorelink").onclick = function() { load_more_results(div_id, current_results+num+1, all_results); }; document.getElementById("loadmoreloader").style.di splay = "none"; } req.open("GET", url, true); req.send(""); document.getElementById("loadmoreloader").style.di splay = "block"; document.getElementById("loadmorelink").blur(); } I would really appreciate any with this issue as it makes my site look really ugly and we have a lot of members.
