JavaScript - Hide The Div And Load The Div

I am just begining to write reports using xsl, css and java script and transforming to html. The report I am working on has several tables each in a separate div. These tables are populated based on the xml file output form a job file. Base on job settings one or more tables may have no information in them. What I would like to do is hide the divs with empty tables when the page is loaded. I have looked through the forums here and on other sites and have found perhaps hundreds of examples of java script for showing and hiding divs with user input or by being set to a hide state by default. However I need it to be more dynamic. I think this can be done with java script but not sure hopefully someone can help me. #Loading is a div which contains a loading jpeg which is fixed to the bottom of the screen. This div appears when the user hits the bottom of the screen, and then disappears once the content has fully loaded. The problem I have is that once the user has loaded all the content that is available. Say I have 'page2.html, page3.html, page4.html' to load one at a time as the user hits the bottom of the screen. I need the loading bar to stay hidden when it tries to load the 'page5' which does not yet exist... Is this easy to do to alter my javascript code? I am at a loss with this. Any help would be appreciated. I asked a similar question before but have adapted the code now for the loading bar, just need this little glitch to be fixed. Thank you! It works fine in all browsers except ie(6,7,8) Code: Internet Explorer can not open website. Operation Aborted. I understand it is caused by the jquery autocomplete function loading before the page / DOM has fully loaded. I tried adding Defer="true" to the script however this doesn't seem to work. Could someone please tell me what i must add to the script so that it loads after the dom has fully loaded? can anyone help on "OPEN/CLOSE ALL" to show or hide all .noticecontent divs Hello, I have the folowing code but it seems to be broken between "SM Decision Support" and "Incident and Request Management". Does anyone know how I resolve ?. I don't know a lot about Javascript... still learning.. I am trying to create a show/hide effect that displays an image based on the users text input. I have coded this before for a list/menu and it works fine. With this particular project there are too many selections to choose from to put in a list/menu. I am trying to use if and else if statements to make this work. With the code the way it is only the first function on the list works. Now my problem is I want javascript to hide the div containing the flash player for atleast a few seconds to display a loading image.gif. How would I set this up?
