JavaScript - Return Causing Script Not To Work
I am building a wordpress theme that utilizes a theme options panel.
The theme has a area where someone can enter in their email address, and when they do a Thank You message displays. One of the sections in the theme options panel allows the users to modify that message. Right now the message is formated like this: "Thank you for your interest!<br />As soon as as we are ready we will send you an email with all the details." and the page source shows this: Code: $('#right').html("<div id='submitted'></div>");

(i bolded the thank you message) now the form functions properly the way it should and the thank you message appears accordingly when someone submits their email. and this causes the form not to function properly. The thank you message will not show up. Is there a way to fix the java code so a person can use "Enter" if they choose to? i want to get the return value of the javascript function to use in database for deletion of that value please help i'm usin jsp and java classes. Thanks guys. so my code is supposed to retrieve three values from a flash element. now it works fine, but when it retrieves a 0 from any of the three valuse, it goes all haywire.... how could i put in a statement or command that if it returns 0, that all it will display is a 0 instead of returning "NaN"? But since all three valuse added together are supposed to equal 100% i have to run the numbers through a little bit of division and rounding after it gets the value of each one. I have 3 HTML form inputs fields that is dynamically generated by a "add more" button, with naming for the fields name as fieldName, fieldName1, fieldName2, fieldName3, and so on. Now, I'm trying to retrieve the value from this fields with JavaScript, using the script below. var bookingForm = document.forms['formName']; var qty = bookingForm.fieldName +'i'.value; with the 'i' been a generated numeric number by a for loop when I use alert(qty), it returns NaN, when I'm expecting the value for fieldName1, fieldName2, and so on. But when I use; var qty = bookingForm.fieldName.value I can get the value in that field but get NaN when I try to concatenate 1,2,3, with the fieldName. Any help will be very much appreciated. I have a validate script for my form. It is jquery. Hi I am a complete novice with Javascript. I posted a question on another site as I want to show a series of 9 images in a random order - ie all 9 images but changing their order every time the page loaded.
