I think this last code is correct, the problem I have now is that I don't know how to call it to just display as text under the buttons and conversions. I'm looking for some way to display it like ("you have made"+ count+ "conversions");. No boxes or buttons, just text and I don't know how to call for this after the </script>, inside the body. First, is there a way to have a javascript file display an externally hosted image when opened with a browser? I mean such a way where the URL of the javascript file can be referenced by an html document and display an image? Background: I am trying to create a schedule website, the schedule has say 20 items and I want it to display the current "active" event in the schedule, 1 previous event and 3 future events so a total of 5 items from the schedule. An event can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours long, so simply using the above code will not work. It needs to take the minutes into consideration as well. here ind==1 is from_time and ind==2 is to_time,i need to validate time as to_time must be always greater than from-time,if condition fails an alert msg should populate.time format is[05:00]as it is in string format im unable to do the validation for it.(ex:from-time=08:00 to-time=07:59 condition fails) thank you. Hi, I have a 'Register' page on my site. When someone registers to my website, I would like to make it necessary to have a div box which generates a random number/letter, which is linked to a text field where the user has to match the generated output. I've been sitting here wondering which would be the best route to take regarding completing this. I was thinking about using charAt() method. Could anybody please possibly give me some tips for generating random letter/numbers? Possibly would I create a string containing "ABCDE....Z0123456789", then use the charAt method to find a character at a certain index position? The variable randomword is the randomly selected word from an array. The guess1 is the users guess. The letter variables are just to check to see if all the spots are filled to win the game. It works fine if the the word doesnt have repeating letters in it such as "Lucky". However words such as "Happy" do not work. If you guess 'p' code fills in the 3 text box with a 'P' but it leaves the 4 spot empty. Even if you guess 'p' again, it still leaves the 4 box empty. Thanks for the help! I have most of the coding complete with the exception of the letter generation.
