JavaScript - Area Code Lookup
I am looking for a simple script or I hope it seems. I need the script to function like this:
[text box] insert telephone number here in format like this xxx-xxx-xxxx but once the number is entered I would like for it to auto detect the area code and in a box or just as text to the right or left I would like for it to display the state that the area code corresponds with. I am using a set of predetermined area codes that I can enter myself once I am made aware of the script. IF this is possible then I would greatly appreciate the help! Hey, I have a location lookup tool that pulls data from a Google Fusion table. User's type their address in and it drops a pin and info window at the place / result that matches their location. Thanks!! So I'm working with a code that I can't seem to get the translation to show up in the text area. The user is supposed to enter text in a text area on the left hand side, hit the translation button, and the translation will appear like a sentence in the right hand text area. Hi, this is my first post here, and i am wanting some guidance on how to make a calculator for my website... basically the website will sell laminate/ wooden flooring and I would like to create a piece of code that when the user enters the room dimensions (i.e width and length) it would tell the user how much they would need to purchase to cover this area.. maybe I could also include the pack size for a more accurate guidance as to what they would need to buy Many websites that sell flooring have this built into there websites and I wondered if this has been hard coded by the website developer or has been incorporated by a piece of open free-ware that can be obtained and then implemented into the site. I'm trying to get it so that if I hover over the first area on the image map, the first hidden DIV will appear, but none of the others. And if I hover over the fourth area, the fourth DIV will appear. I hope this makes sense, and I'd appreciate any and all help towards solving this issue and ending my headache lol Need help with my text box. I want to make it so if i have several text boxes only one number can be entered once. So if i type the number 15 in the first text box and type 15 in the second text box an error will occur saying you cant enter the same number twice. Any idea how to do this? Code:

... or should function be document in the script area and document not be present in the SPAN attribute? ... Better yet, is there a way to put both the 'glance' and 'front' together like this: Code: <SCRIPT type="text/javascript">
