JavaScript - Find On Page Script

Hi all.
Is it possible to command a find in page search from another html?
I have a 'main page' and 'directory page'
The directory page has find in page command on it, so if users can open the directory link from the main page and then search that page using the find in page search box.
To speed this up, is there any way I can have a text box on my main page that when I enter text and submit that it carries across the text entry to the find in page box on the directory page and starts this search for me?
I need to complete this using javascript so if this is possible I would great appreciate any help.

Just a quick question!

Is it possible to have a text box input searching for the entered text on another webpage in the same way Find In Page would do?

I have a webpage that I want users to input an item, and that this will open the targeted webpage and bring you to (and highlight) the matched item(s) like find in page does.

Is this possible or is the easiest way to just make users open the link to the target page and just complete the find in page search there?

Hi. I am very new to javascript, so I might not even be wording my question right, but I am going to try and be as concise and specific as possible.

I am using jquery on my website- the galleria plugin- to make a slideshow. you can see the completed show he

This slideshow will be one of three on my website. Each slide show will opperate the same exact way.I have built in tabbed navifation, and the slideshows will all be accessable under the "portfolio" tab by clicking on their corresponding links.

As it is I have one slideshow up, although not yet connected to the corresponding link, but the images won't load. My guess is that because the div tag is hidden that the contents don't load propperly and I need the contents to load when the corresponding div tag that it is contained in becomes visible but I don't know how to do that.

this is the javascript that I have written to show/hide the <div> tags where the content will live. Three slide shows will live in content_2 and show/hide when the corresponding button is pressed.

I would like to know a script for when you have a page that can expire (or cannot be open again) --- a time limit for like 24 hours.

Because I'm going to make a site where people can buy website designs, they buy it off paypal, they get redirected to a site where the code is located and the site will get expired in 24 hours -- then, they wouldn't be able to open the page again.

I'm working on a page navigation script and i'm stuck at a part.

I have made a little picture gallery script and my team partners can fill in how many folders they want to show on a page.

So example i have 5 folders and want to show 2 folders per page i tried to use code like this

Is this possible? I am writing a script that will display an alert box that reads "your play was saved" after a user clicks the submit button on a form. The only problem is that after clicking save, the page refreshes. Here is the code I tried to use

**Note**
The script is for a specific page and not the whole site, so it wont run on every refresh on the site, only when it's needed on 1 page.

I was wondering how to add a "loading page please wait" page to my web page, and then run any javascript only after the page loads? My web page contains some fade in/out scripts for pages, and all my pages are basically just divs and in one html file. Just a simple black container (not entire web page) with the words "loading" or something would be fine, then this page would fade out, then my main page would fade in.

I can get them both to run but not at same time. Any1 outthere who have a solution. I believe it has something to do with Function() part in the matrix code. can i change that do another command?

But I am having issues with is on my live page: http://www.align.com/Resources/

My first thought is that it could be a labeling issue (ie: I forgot to remove "/dev" when moving the HTML over to live) but after reviewing for an hour, I don't believe this is the issue.

Could it be an ASP issue? thx in advance....
