JavaScript - Jquery Multiple Load Problem, Help Please
I am having trouble with a plugin not working, so I contacted the creator, and they said the below. I have no idea how to do what they want. Can anyone help me out?
"Hi The Billboard Family, We just took a look at your output. It looks like you have jquery loading 3 times, which is not good. This will cause most all jQuery plugins/code to break if you load the jquery library more than once. It looks like you have it loading with your "Enhanced Search Box" and then again at the end of your head just before your "Cycle. All" script. Please be sure that the PHP method wp_head() is that LAST piece of code running before your close head tag in your header.php file as well as wp_footer() being the LAST piece of code running before your close body tag in your footer.php file. I would also recommend running WordPress' wp_enqueu_scripts() method, detailed here by Jamie: http://getsatisfaction.com/slidedeck/... Once you get those changes made and jQuery running only once please let us know if you are still having problems. Cheers! " MY SITE: http://billboardfamily.com/?page_id=4 Similar TutorialsHello! I am developing my personal website! And I am trying to implement it with JS completely. which means I need the page to be one front end page. But the back-end pages would be the ones which do the work and calculations! In other words and more explaination: I would like to have one "index.php" page that contains only a nav bar which handles the mission. Once the page load it loads with the content of "home.php" (the landing page) if the "contact" tab is clicked then I would like to load the "ContactMe.php" page content. I have done this already! but the problem is: "home.php" uses alot of javascript functions and jquery plug-ins. when I load it, it looks messy that you think the JS is disabled in your machine :-\ Note: the loading has been done with those methods: .load(), $.ajax! -> same results! The conclusion: * "home.php" * "ContactMe.php" * "About.php" Is it possible to load those pages in the "index.php" and still have their JS functions function correctly and display as if they were accessed individually? The goal that I am trying to achieve is that I make my whole website for the visitor as "One Page Site"! I am challenging myself with it though! Thank you in advance for your informative posts! Please Note that I have only put the <html><head><body> tags in the index.php and removed them from the back-end pages such as home.php, contactme.php and about.php! for that sake that it works correctly! but with no hope! I'm trying to build a gallery. So far I've used jquery for the scrolling thumbnails. The problem I am having is deciding which would be the best way to load the larger version of the thumbnails into a div? Currently I am using a jquery attribute replace, but the only problem I'm having is I want to use lightbox for the large images. Some of the images have text so they need to be big if the user would like to read them. Right now lightbox is working except that it doesn't understand what image it's on when you click on the large version. I believe this is because of the attribute replace. Here is where you can view the problem: http://www.tsutsumidaphoto.com/Mihoko/akiko3.php If you click on any thumbnail after the first then click on the large version it will bring up the first image then go from there. Any suggestions, I've tried for too long on my own! Hi I'm trying to load a part of a page (that has script in it) into another page using jquery. However, though the html loads in correctly, none of the script is working. I'm using code from http://css-tricks.com/video-screenca...namic-content/ ie. the pages all work without java (static pages) and when java is enabled, instead of going to bio.html you get taken to ..#bio.html. However if I've got any script I would like to be loaded .. ie. lightbox gallery or even a simple jav split and put back together email address hider. Any help greatly appreciated. I'm not very clued up about jquery at the moment unfortunately and though I've been trying to read and learn, alot is going over my head.. Not sure how best it is to show you the page as it's not live yet. Maybe if it helps I can upload a zip of the site. It's a simple 6 page musician site. Though my code is exactly like the css-tricks page, just that I have a lightbox on one page (which loads fine if there's no hash in the address - but when hash is there, it shows thumbnails, and when you click one, it just takes you to the larger .jpg destination page (no lightboxness etc).) Thanks Hello, i would like to advise me on sthg. I have built a website using a)MySQL b)HTML c)PHP and d)Javascript. My website consists of basic html pages/templates which have links to the left and point to another templates/pages. For example, i have 4 templates in my site 1st template is for: News 2nd : Library 3nd : Articles 4th : E-shop Each template consists of 1. a small menu with links, every link points to another page 2.space for the content/text of the html page 3. a form for searching in the website using php and a mysql database. Well, i'm thinking of adding some animation in my website using the jquery library.Let's say we have an accordion which has 4 choices and when the user clicks on the first choice the 1st template(NEWS) appears inside the slide of accordion, loads in the same slide, not in a new page!!!This is what i would like to do, place in each slide of the accordion one of my templates. CAn this be done??? Which are the disadvantages of adding in each slide of the accordion a different template for my site and remain in the same slide when the user clicks in one of the links of the template??? Consider that i'm using dynamic content and not static, i have a MySQL database behind. Also,as i have seen in most examples the options of accordion usually contain an image, a content, a text or links which open in a new window or tab not inside the slide!!!These links do not load in the same slide!!i would like to have a template which loads in the slide each time the user clicks on a link of it. CAn this be done?? I would be glad if sm could advise me! Thanks, in advance!!! I have a web page that opens urls in one seperate window from an array that uses settimeout to slow the loading. Is there coding i can use to replace settimeout that will allow the next url to load after each 1 loads. Here is what i have now. Code: var win = null; var i = 0; var links = [ "http://www.ageofchampions.com/game/gift_accept.php?source=190&sourceu=505119169&wid=53", "http://www.ageofchampions.com/game/gift_accept.php?source=190&sourceu=505119169&wid=57", "http://www.ageofchampions.com/game/gift_accept.php?source=190&sourceu=505119169&wid=194", "http://www.ageofchampions.com/game/gift_accept.php?source=190&sourceu=505119169&wid=196", "http://www.ageofchampions.com/game/gift_accept.php?source=190&sourceu=505119169&wid=242", "http://www.ageofchampions.com/game/gift_accept.php?source=190&sourceu=505119169&wid=286", "http://www.ageofchampions.com/game/gift_accept.php?source=190&sourceu=505119169&wid=335", ]; function aufruf(idx) { if(!win){ win = window.open(); }; win.location.href = (links[idx]); if(idx < (links.length - 1)) { idx++; setTimeout('aufruf(' + idx + ')', 8000); //or setTimeout('aufruf(idx)', 8000); }; }; I use this tooltip script on my site: http://craigsworks.com/projects/simpletip/ The problem is that I have several links in the same div class and I want to load different content in tooltip when the mouse is over different links. This is the code I use to load tooltip: Code: $(document).ready(function(){ // Create your tooltips var api = $(".ttip a").simpletip().simpletip(); api.load('include.php'); }); This is the HTML code: Code: <div class="ttip"> <a userid="1" href="#" >user1</a><br /> <a userid="2" href="#">user2</a> </div> Now the tooltip works only for the first link. For the second one only some default text is shown instead when I hover it! Can anyone please help? I am having trouble running multiple windows.onload functions and having trouble how to implement them. I found a couple articles on but couldn't really get them to work. Here are the two functions I'm trying to load: Code: <script type="text/javascript"> //<![CDATA[ window.onload=function(){ //randomize order of contents with DIV class="group1" randomizeContent("group1") randomizeContent("group2") randomizeContent("group3") } //]]> </script> Code: <script type="text/javascript"> function showHideMore(obj) { var contObj = obj.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[0]; var status = (contObj.style.display == 'block')? 'none' : 'block' contObj.style.display = status; <!-- obj.innerHTML = (status == 'block')? 'Show less' : 'Show more'; --> obj.curPic = (obj.curPic == 0)? 1 : 0; obj.style.backgroundImage = 'url("'+plusMinusPics[obj.curPic]+'")'; } window.onload=function(){ plusMinusPics = ['plus.png','minus.png']; oMoreLessSpans = document.getElementById('list1').getElementsByTagName('span'); for(i=0; i < oMoreLessSpans.length; i++){ oMoreLessSpans[i].curPic = 0; oMoreLessSpans[i].style.background = 'url("'+plusMinusPics[oMoreLessSpans[i].curPic]+'") no-repeat 0 50%'; oMoreLessSpans[i].onclick=function(){showHideMore(this);} } } </script> Hello Guys, Seems im moving on from the css forums to java (im scared). I am a keen learner but an absolute beginner to java. What i need to be able to do is.. When a student clicks on a link in the main menu e.g number I need a something that can load the following two divs. #contentwindow #three I already have jquery running on the page and all css is embeded for now if that is helpful. http://www.bushcottages.co.uk/new.htm Thanks your help is supremely appreciated Peter I'm slowly scraping away errors from a page im working on and ive found this forum to be very helpful- down to one more that i wanted to post on. sample page is he http://darrenlasso.com/freelance/loo.../lookbook.html Works fine in most all browsers except for IE8- ive even had to include built in ie7 compatibility to get it to work at all. Problem is most likely associated with my js, which is: Code: function ShowPage(frame) { frames[0].location = frame+'.html' } and html is: Code: <div id="thumb1"><a onmouseover="ShowPage('frame1')"onclick="ShowPage('frame1')" rel="nofollow" target="mainbox"></a></div> <div id="thumb2"><a onmouseover="ShowPage('frame2')"onclick="ShowPage('frame2')" rel="nofollow" target="mainbox"></a></div> <div id="thumb3"><a onmouseover="ShowPage('frame3')"onclick="ShowPage('frame3')" rel="nofollow" target="mainbox"></a></div> etc etc.. Which is just something i found online - probly isnt right for what im trying to accomplish. If you go to the site- you navigate by hovering over/clicking the images at the top and that loads a new page into the iframe below. Id like to be able to fix the errors and get it working without having to force ie7 compatibility if possible too. Any help is much appreciated hi guys i really dont understand where i am going wrong.I've read countless articles including http://blog.nemikor.com/2009/10/03/u...ons-of-jquery/ but still having trouble with multiple versions of jquery not working. either the jquery slideshow doesnt work or the jquery ie select width fix doesnt work! rrghhh Code: <head> <link href="/css/styles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="/ie6pngfix/iepngfix_tilebg.js"></script><!-- ie6 png fix --> <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/ddlevelsmenu.js"></script><!-- drop down menu js --> <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/jquery-1.4.4.min.js"></script><!-- slideshow jquery file 1 --> <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/slides.min.jquery.js"></script><!-- slideshow jquery file 2 --> <!-- slideshow jquery controls --> <script type="text/javascript"> jQuery(function () { // Set starting slide to 1 var startSlide = 1; // Get slide number if it exists if (window.location.hash) { startSlide = window.location.hash.replace('#', ''); } // Initialize Slides jQuery('#slides').slides({ preload: true, preloadImage: 'img/loading.gif', generatePagination: true, play: 5000, pause: 2500, slideSpeed: 1200, hoverPause: true, // Get the starting slide start: startSlide, animationComplete: function (current) { // Set the slide number as a hash // window.location.hash = '#' + current; } }); }); </script> <script type="text/javascript"> var jQuery_1_4_4 = $.noConflict(true); </script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/prototype.js"></script><!-- lightbox aka image viewer js file 1 --> <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/scriptaculous.js?load=effects,builder"></script><!-- lightbox aka image viewer js file 2 --> <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/lightbox.js"></script><!-- lightbox aka image viewer js file 3 --> <script type="text/javascript"> jQuery.noConflict(); jQuery(document).ready(function(jQuery) { </script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/test/jquery.1-4-2.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/test/jquery.ie-select-width.js"></script> <!--[if lte ie 6]> <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/test/jquery.bgiframe.js"></script> <![endif]--> <script type="text/javascript"> $(function () { // Set the width via the plugin. $('select#fixed-select-no-css').ieSelectWidth ({ width : 200, containerClassName : 'select-container', overlayClassName : 'select-overlay' }); // Set the width via CSS. $('select#fixed-select-css').ieSelectWidth ({ containerClassName : 'select-container', overlayClassName : 'select-overlay' }); // Borders and padding etc for Internet Explorer 6/7. $('select#select-styleable').ieSelectWidth ({ containerClassName : 'select-container', overlayClassName : 'select-overlay' }); }); </script> <script type="text/javascript"> var jQuery_1_4_2 = $.noConflict(true); </script> <!-- Share this button script --> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://w.sharethis.com/button/buttons.js"></script><script type="text/javascript">stLight.options({publisher:'c0b04a1e-f627-42e8-b040-cbfb63bd9b1c'});</script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/showtab.js"></script> </head> I've tried re ordering the scripts around but still no joy? either the slideshow works or the ie select width fix doesnt but not both at the same time? please advise Omar. Currently, this is my code: PHP Code: function createRow(){ $.post("php/qaRowEntry.php", { }, function(data){ $("#qaresultrowentry").text(data); test(); }); } It grabs visible data and $_SESSION data, that I know of it. However, I need to be able to retrieve or create variables based on the response. It would look like this: I run a code similar to the one above, and when I get the php script's response, javascript now has 3 filled variables that I can use. Is it possible? I saw one suggestion of setting async to false, but that it can cause the browser to hang. That's not an acceptable reaction. Thanks for your suggestions! When my page loads, it automatically jumps down as if it were jumping to a named anchor. It's more apparent on longer pages (doesn't replicate if page fills screen). Happening in Win FF/IE/Chrome Disabling stylish-select.js (from http://www.prismstudio.co.uk/2009/05...x-replacement/ where he used to allow comments but not anymore) fixes it, but I don't know enough Javascript to debug, would really appreciate if somebody could have a look. Good example at http://studiohodson.com/projects/Bea...restaurant.php Script is at http://studiohodson.com/projects/Bea...lish-select.js Thank you thank you! You've probably seen this many times with two dynamic linking select boxes that deals in form or another deal with countries and then cities for the second one or something similar well I have another question about that. I've looked at a few others and well their coding is so different then mine that I don't want to use code for my own project that I don't understand in case I need to reuse it for some other reason down the road. The user selects a country and with the users selection it passes the countryid as a variable through jquery's ajax fuction as a post parameter to a php process page in which it goes to a table and matches the country id with the db field called country_id in the arenas table. With all the records that matches that countryid it selects the arena name and city that the arena is in and displays it as an option tag now I'm trying to figure out with muliple entries how can I pass the results back to the form page and insert it into the arenas dropdown box. Following is my coding separated out for you. I only included the necessary parts. All help would be greatly appreciated. form page Code: $('#countryid').change(function() { var countryid = $("select#countryid").val(); var dataString = 'countryid='+ countryid; $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "processes/booking.php", data: dataString, success: function() { } }); }); <div class="field required"> <label for="countryid">Country</label> <select class="dropdown" name="countryid" id="countryid" title="Country"> <option value="0">- Select -</option> <?php $query = 'SELECT id, countryname FROM countries'; $result = mysqli_query ( $dbc, $query ); // Run The Query while ( $row = mysqli_fetch_array ( $result, MYSQL_ASSOC ) ) { print "<option value=\"".$row['id']."\">".$row['countryname']."</option>\r"; } ?> </select> <span class="required-icon tooltip" title="Required field - This field is required, it cannot be blank, and must contain something that is different from emptyness in order to be filled in. ">Required</span> </div> <div class="field required"> <label for="arena">Arenas</label> <select class="dropdown" name="arenas" id="arenas" title="Arenas"> </select> <span class="required-icon tooltip" title="Required field - This field is required, it cannot be blank, and must contain something that is different from emptyness in order to be filled in. ">Required</span> </div> php process page PHP Code: $countryid = (int)$_GET['countryid']; $query = "SELECT * FROM `arenas` WHERE `country_id` = '$countryid'"; $result = mysqli_query ($dbc, $query); while ($row = mysqli_fetch_array($dbc, $result)) { echo '<option value="'.$row['arena'].'">'.$row['arena'].' - '.$row['city'].'</option>\n'; } Please take a look at oceangamer.com Press the login/Sign up in the header of the page. It slides down fine in IE but in mine it refuses to slide up if i click close. Every other browser, it works??? Whats the problem? Hey guys, I've just started with javascript so please, be gentle I am making a wordpress plug-in which puts a banner-rotator on the front page which is able to load both images and flvs'. It has a carousel menuand the images/objects are loaded as you hover over the thumbnails. I have made an js array in a php loop so that every element of the menu list gets assigned a different onMouseOver function when it is generated. Because I was not able to change FlashVars with js I have put the whole object embed code in one variable and insert that in a div with innerHTML when mouseOver. This works fine in firefox but not at all in any other browsers!! What can I do? The website is located at: www.mediapod.org/jwp Here is the code: Code: function wp_main_player() { global $wpdb; $noChartsID = $wpdb->get_col($wpdb->prepare("SELECT * FROM wp_term_relationships WHERE term_taxonomy_id = 5")); $noCharts = count($noChartsID); ?> <div class="box" style="height:350px;"> <div id="maind" style="height:280px;"> <div id="icont"> <a id="link" href="#"><img name="main" height="280" width="560" src="" /></a> </div> <div id="fcont" style="display:none; width:100%; height:100%; background:#fff;"> </div> </div> <a class="pprev" style="float:left; width:10px; height:60px; margin-top:10px;" href="javascript:void(0)"></a> <div class="player" style="float:left; margin-top:11px; width:540px !important;"> <script> var myCode = []; </script> <ul style="float:left;"> <?php if ($noCharts > 0) { for ($i = 0; $i < $noCharts; $i += 1) { $posts = $wpdb->get_row("SELECT * FROM wp_posts WHERE id = $noChartsID[$i]", ARRAY_A); $link = $wpdb->get_row("SELECT * FROM wp_postmeta WHERE post_id = $noChartsID[$i] AND meta_key ='link'", ARRAY_A); $link = $link['meta_value']; $image = $posts['post_content']; $flv = strpos($image, 'flv:'); if ($flv==1){ $flv = str_replace("-flv:", "", $image); $flv = substr(rstrstr($flv, '-img:'),0 ,-6); $image = substr(strstr($image, '-img:'), 5); ?> <script> myCode[<?php echo $i; ?>]=<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0" width="560" height="280" id="FlashXMLShoutcastRadioPlayerV4.0" align="middle"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /> <param name="movie" value="http://www.mediapod.org/jwp/wp-content/plugins/JRockControll/FLVPlayer_Progressive.swf" /> <param name="menu" value="false" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <param name="wmode" value="opaque" ></param> <param name="FlashVars" value="&MM_ComponentVersion=1&skinName=http://www.mediapod.org/jwp/wp-content/plugins/JRockControll/Corona_Skin_1&streamName=<?php echo $flv; ?>&autoPlay=true&autoRewind=false" /> <param name="bgcolor" value="#111111" /> <embed bgcolor="#111111" wmode="opaque" src="http://www.mediapod.org/jwp/wp-content/plugins/JRockControll/FLVPlayer_Progressive.swf" menu="false" FlashVars ="&MM_ComponentVersion=1&skinName=http://www.mediapod.org/jwp/wp-content/plugins/JRockControll/Corona_Skin_1&streamName=<?php echo $flv; ?>&autoPlay=true&autoRewind=false" quality="high" width="560" height="280" name="FlashXMLShoutcastRadioPlayerV4.0" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /> </object>; </script> <li class="p_img"><img onmouseover="document.getElementById('icont').style.display='none';document.getElementById('fcont').style.display=''; document.getElementById('fcont').innerHTML=myCode[<?php echo $i; ?>]; document.main.src='<?php echo $image;?>'; document.getElementById('link').href='<?php echo $link;?>';" src="<?php echo $image;?>" height="52" width="102" /></li> <?php } else { ?> <li class="p_img"><img onmouseover="document.getElementById('icont').style.display=''; document.getElementById('fcont').innerHTML=''; document.getElementById('fcont').style.display='none'; document.main.src='<?php echo $image;?>'; document.getElementById('link').href='<?php echo $link;?>';" src="<?php echo $image;?>" height="52" width="102" /></li> <?php } } } ?> </ul> </div> <a class="pnext" style="float:right; width:10px; height:60px; margin-top:10px;" href="javascript:void(0)"></a> <script type="text/javascript"> jQuery(function() { jQuery(".player").jCarouselLite({ btnNext: ".pnext", btnPrev: ".pprev", speed: 300, visible: 5 }); }); </script> </div> <?php } It is an absolute mess Thank you. Hi I have some Javascript on my website http://www.restoreanddesign.co.uk The top bar has 4 images on a random cycle on load up/ refresh. Im trying to validate the xhtml, but it is coming up with errors. I dont understand javascript enough to be able to fix this. Anyone know what needs to be done to validate this javascript. i have bolded/coloured the lines i think is causing the problems -------------------------------------------------------------------- Code: <script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript"> // JavaScript Document var imagenumber = 4 ; var randomnumber = Math.random() ; var rand1 = Math.round( (imagenumber-1) * randomnumber) + 1 ; images = new Array images[1] = "images/newtopbar.jpg" images[2] = "images/newtopbar2.jpg" images[3] = "images/newtopbar3.jpg" images[4] = "images/newtopbar4.jpg" var image = images[rand1] function MM_swapImgRestore() { //v3.0 var i,x,a=document.MM_sr; for(i=0;a&&i<a.length&&(x=a[i])&&x.oSrc;i++) x.src=x.oSrc; } function MM_preloadImages() { //v3.0 var d=document; if(d.images){ if(!d.MM_p) d.MM_p=new Array(); var i,j=d.MM_p.length,a=MM_preloadImages.arguments; for(i=0; i<a.length; i++) if (a[i].indexOf("#")!=0){ d.MM_p[j]=new Image; d.MM_p[j++].src=a[i];}} } function MM_findObj(n, d) { //v4.01 var p,i,x; if(!d) d=document; if((p=n.indexOf("?"))>0&&parent.frames.length) { d=parent.frames[n.substring(p+1)].document; n=n.substring(0,p);} if(!(x=d[n])&&d.all) x=d.all[n]; for (i=0;!x&&i<d.forms.length;i++) x=d.forms[i][n]; for(i=0;!x&&d.layers&&i<d.layers.length;i++) x=MM_findObj(n,d.layers[i].document); if(!x && d.getElementById) x=d.getElementById(n); return x; } function MM_swapImage() { //v3.0 var i,j=0,x,a=MM_swapImage.arguments; document.MM_sr=new Array; for(i=0;i<(a.length-2);i+=3) if ((x=MM_findObj(a[i]))!=null){document.MM_sr[j++]=x; if(!x.oSrc) x.oSrc=x.src; x.src=a[i+2];} } </script> I am trying to make a lightbox type plugin and I am running into a problem. I hope it is something simple that I am overlooking. Here is my code: jQuery.fn.overlay = function() { $(this).click(function() { $('body').append('<div id="over"></div>'); $('#over').fadeIn(); }); }; It (almost) does what it should. It draws the #over div to the screen just fine. The problem is when I try to access it. I try something like this and get no response: $(function() { $('#over').click(function() { alert('moo'); }); }); Its like the element is not getting the ID assigned to it. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance. Hi, I have a problem with a fade script using jquery, in firefox etc.. all is ok. But IE the fade does not fade it just comes in & out. If any one would be kind enough to have a quick look I would appreciate it. You can see the js in the main page, not an external file. The url is www.thecityspa.co.uk I am aware that there are common problems with this and that the fix is probably this: Code: $(function() { var zIndexNumber = 1000; $('div').each(function() { $(this).css('zIndex', zIndexNumber); zIndexNumber -= 10; }); }); However I can't figure out how to make my menu get in front of my jquery banner in ie6 and 7!! Ive been literally trying all day. Then I found that site explaining that that code would fix it. however I cannot get it to work with my site! Here is the link to my page: http://bit.ly/5fwhPP I'm not sure if just plopping that javascript before my other scripts will do it but it sounded like it from the page I found the code on. I could really use some help here I am completely jammed up and cant focus on anything else until i fix this stupid issue! Any help is therefore greatly appreciated! Hi, First of all, please excuse my ignorance of JQuery(and coding in general) - Although I hastily grab plugins and try to use them, I really do appreciate them, and also the help you may provide me with my problem! My problem is this - I was looking for a simple and effective slideshow to use in a website I was making. SimpleSli.de(http://www.simplesli.de/) was exactly what I was looking for. It works great when it works but sometimes when I load the page it kind of doesn't work. I don't know what is going on but only approximately 50 pixels of the slideshow is visible. This happens sporadically when you refresh the page multiple times, and seems to not work more often on Google Chrome. I've eliminated every possible wrong doing in my code and tried installing firebug to help me identify the problem but for now this is beyond my understanding. JS Lint also purged errors in the code but still the same intermittent problem. I tried to contact David Drew - the creator of SimpleSli.de but he has not responded to me. On top of this I was trying to Auto Play the slideshow on load but could not get this to work. The code for it is available on the SimpleSli.de website but I tried to implement it in every possible way but it did not work. This problem is secondary and not really a proper problem so no worries if you can't help me on this one. The website in question is http://www.argsecurityscotland.co.uk/ Thank you in advance for your time and expertise, I really appreciate it. |
