JavaScript - Reload Page And Display A Particular Iframe Based On Option Choice

I have just used an Analysis Quiz tool (on this page http://javascript.about.com/library/blquizf.htm) to create a quiz which doesn't have right or wrong answers but adds the scores of the answers together. It all works nicely, HOWEVER I require 5 answers as opposed to the maximum of four which has been offered on this site.

The (partial) code is:

but this didn't work ... please help! Thank you

Hi, I have a web form that I'm creating and it has some expandable checkboxes that need to be restricted based on choice.

This is my criteria:
If someone chooses checkbox number 1, they cannot choose any other checkbox.
If someone chooses checkbox number 2, they may also choose number 3 but not 1 or 4, they must also answer the question that appears below.
If someone chooses checkbox number 3, they may also choose number 2 but not 1 or 4, they must also answer the question that appears below.
If someone chooses checkbox number 4, they cannot choose any other checkbox, and must answer the questions that appears below. One more caveat: If checkbox number 2 is chosen, and they've filled in all three lines of the question below, I need for them to dynamically add more lines as needed.

I have attached my web form so you can see what I've done. I've researched these options and tried code from various examples but I can't seem to get it to work.

Does anyone know how to accomplish all of this? Thank you in advance!

Ok so I have a select box where the value must be passed via the form. If the users selects choice B or Choice C then I want a specific div to show. If they choose choice A then I want the div to hide or remain hidden. It should be hidden on page load.

I am facing an issue where a link on my website opens in a new window if you simply click on it. However, if you right click and say open in new window or new tab, it opens the same window (URL) again from where the link is clicked.

Self Service Option is a link and the JSP calls a function getSelfServSite() when the link is clicked. This is how the code flows in my case

I have a page A with form:

Now, I dont want to display result on this page, but on page B, in iframe.
I found a way how to redirect output as a link to properly show in iframe on page B.

I have an iFrame that is loaded when a user types a url into a text box. Is it possible to display the meta-description of the page that is diplayed in the iFrame in the main (parent) page ?

I have a page with 3 iFrames, showing different content.

iFrame1: Here is a navigation php page. Click on a menu item and it loads a php page in iFrame2
iFrame2: Here is a list of items from a database.
iFrame3: I load 3 different php pages here. (A) is the main showing page. (B) and (C) is a record manipulation page, that does some editing in the database and then redirects to (A).

When the (A) php page loads, it should reload iFrame2

I have tried to put something like:
<body onLoad=parent.location.reload()>
and put it on the (A) php page.

This will reload the entire page, which works. However, it results in a loop of reloads, as the (A) iFrame file will load with the entire page reload...

So, I was looking for the right code to put, like onLoad=iFrame2.location.reload()

However, I can't seem to find the correct code, so I hope any of you can help me...

I have an options list that is generated from a database. It currently has ~125 options in it.

I've received the request that the user be able to either enter the corresponding number or select the option from the list.

How can I update the "selected" attribute in the options list based on a number that may be entered in another text entry box?

I'm taking a beginning javascript class and have been trying to figure out one last part of a homework assignment and am just not seeing how to work it out. Any help is greatly appreciated!

What I'm having trouble with is doing the text verification. When a user selects an option from the select list they then need to type in the text area given. If the user doesn't type the word selected in the list then an error message should appear under the text area. If you look at my code you'll see that I have the text_check() function doing the verification. I can get it to work when there is only one option but once I add the other two it stops working. I've tried if... else and other variations, but can't seem to nail it down. Thanks!

Is there anyone who could help me figure out how to Change a Hidden Fields Name based on selected option. The hidden fields name is sent off and I need to change the name depending on what option they select.
For if they select MyList the hidden field name needs to be SelectLists[40] or if they select testlist the hidden field name needs to be SelectLists[41].

This is probably way, way off but I've done this and it doesn't work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have a index page on which there are several iframes which point to pages from a tomcat server. Sometimes when the index page loads, most of the iframes display session expired error. When I refresh the page, all iframes load properly. I want to
reload the page twice whenever I come to that page initially. I also want to reload that page twice when I come to it from another page. Any ideas are welcome.

I am using javascript function for refreshing html page. I have used [window.location.reload(true);] method to reload page from server. This code works if i use it by using Link/button etc.
For Example: <input type="button" value="Refresh" onclick="window.location.reload(true);" />

But i want to refresh page when page loads.
For Example: <body onload = "window.location.reload(true);>
But this time, page reloads in an infinite loop. i don't know why...

I have also used following function (against body onLoad) to reload and then stop, but this also does'nt work.

Hi all, I'm new to javascript and html so this may be a silly question, and I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong forum section.

Anyway, I need some kind of javascript that will work in a framed page. Right now when I try to navigate to another framed page located elsewhere on my website it's pulling it up in that frame, so it's an ever expanding framed webpage. I need it to simply open the new page up in the whole browser, and not in the individual frame..

Any help is appreciate, (There may as well be an html solution but I couldn't find one)... Thanks.
