JavaScript - Robust Rss Display - Multiple Sources?
I am wondering if there is a way to display feeds from multiple sources on my page using this tool. The feeds are at the following URL
http://www.vanityasart.com/viastorm.com/news.html It loads the first feed fine and then stops loading the others. Any ideas? Hello all, I need my form to submit to two sources, zoho crm and broker office. One is used to create a contact list and the other is an insurance quote engine. Problem one. How can I use javascript to force my form to submit data to both sites? The bigger problem is they use different names for the same field. In other words one wants to recieve a vaule as first_name and the other wants it as firstName. Thanks in advance. So, I have a situation in which I have a parent div.. <div id="parent"> </div> On page load that is empty but I have to make an ajax call to grab some XML and populate some structured elements. These elements, could be a few, need to then be appended into the "parent" div. Basically, read in the data, format it then innerHTML or bottom it to parent div. The thing is.. I have access to the prototype library and I can only think of the easy way of.. grab the nodes in the xml and use "new element" to create the display and slot in the xml data. THEN append it to parent and just loop thru the xml nodes and repopulate, append etc.. till done. But I am thinking this is old school. Is there a better, more robust, classier way of doing this. Is there a way to actually "pre=code" the display (and just style hide it) and "read in via jascript" the display and slot in the xml values and append it, then "show" it. like clone it, display it - etc... Something is telling me I can create a display object and slot the xml into it, append it and then keep calling to this display object. but not sure how to begin.... I have no problem creating the proper DOM script object with the proper type and conditional src value. However, when i add it to the document it does not seem to execute. I've tried adding it in two places, both using .appendChild(); myLocation.parentNode.appendChild(newScript); and document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0].appendChild(newScript); (myLocation is a calculated element representing the current script tag) In both these cases, the script tag is added to the document where I intended, but it does not appear to execute. The src has some doc writes in it and the tags the new script should generate right after itself are not there, as they are when I hard code the new sourced script tag into the document. All in all, my confusion comes from the fact that when I write a <script ... src="mysrc.js"></script> into my document, it behaves differently than when I have a script write an identical tag into the document in the same location. Also, fyi, I'm currently using Chrome (though I will require a multi-platform solution). Thanks for your time. My swf.js file is getting hacked along with some jquery files, they are injecting cross browser hacking script to .js files. Please help me how can I protect it? I need a script that will allow a user to select a vertical selection and Horizontal selection that displays a corresponding image. There are only 8 combinations (4 vertical choices and 2 horizontal choices) I just need to display the correct image and a description. There has to be only one of each selected and only display one image. I have tried several and have had no luck. Any ideas? Here is how the layout will look I have 9 select menus that are populated by a php for loop. Each has a numeric value that is displayed base on the selection (which I have working). I can not figure out how to sum all of these values and display them in a <div> tag. In this case it is 4 divs, but in other situations I'll have up to 10. My problem is that when the user starts with the first div displayed, the other 3 swap just fine, however, when clicking through the set of links, once the user gets to the 3rd link that is supposed to swap out the divs all the divs show up except the first, and the same happens on the fourth link. I am building a website that will have multiple image swaps on multiple pages. I am building this in wordpress, and I'm guessing that means my approach will be different than if I wasn't using wordpress. Here's how one page would work: There are 10 images shown. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. When number 1 is clicked on, I want a new image - 1a. When 2 is clicked on, 2a. So there are 20 different images in all on a given page. Also, I want the user to be able to click on the image again to restore the original image. I would prefer onclick to onmouseover. There will be literally dozens of pages like this on the site, managed by wordpress, so hundreds of images to swap. Basically the first image is a question - the second image is the answer. Is this possible? Why isnt this working? Thank you. here is my issue... i have an object and i need to call two functions. i need the onclick="something" to call a server side function and then i need another onclick="something" to call a javascript funtion... the problem is you can only have one "onclick" (similar to having one "class")... how can I set up an onclick that will call both my serverside function and my javascript function...
