JavaScript - Can A Lightbox Control Be Used Only Once (disable/removing It After Its Been Clicked)
I am using a lightbox script (which dims the page when clicked and shows a pop up image).
This script is called upon by the user clicking on an imageButton. I am also trying to close, hide or disable this once it has been clicked on (so it only works once). My code is below: < a href="lightbox/images/image-1.jpg" name="alightbox" rel="lightbox" > < asp:ImageButton ID="ImgBtnWarning" src="lightbox/images/submitCover.gif" runat="server" border="0" onClick="ImgBtnWarning_Click" style="position: relative; top:10px; left: 75px; z-index: 1; display: none;" / > < / a> The problem is, when I wrap the < a > tags around my imageButton - the image button code doesn't work (and so fails to activate the onClick event - where I disable this once it has run). I am probably doing this wrong, but I don't know of another way to get the lightbox to only work once or to disable the ImgBtnWarning from the lightbox.js file. Similar TutorialsHi, well i have a issue with lightbox like stuff that i am using here http://www.bloghuts.com/2010/11/13-days-in-hell.html If you click on play that lightbox windows open and if you click close it closes down (as you expect from it) but the problem is that in firefox until you click play the game doesn't load and when you click close it closes the game BUT if you use any other broswer like chrome or IE or any you like, before you click play the game starts loading and when you will click close, it will actually minimize the game not close (like it do in firefox) I don't know why is this crossbrowser issue happening and what could be the solution to make it work like firefox in all browsers? How can I make this code disable the submit button once it has been pressed, then if the user hits back or GOES back, it will re-enable it again? Thanks! ShadowIce~ Hi guys. I have a lot of information on my site that is in multiple categories. I have a list of categories, each with its own checkbox. By default, all the information is displayed (therefore all the checkbox's are checked by default). When someone unchecks the box I want to hide the divs with that class, and when someone rechecks the box, they should reappear. Here is my code so far. Hi, I am using Lightbox+ and overall it's very good for my needs. However it has a small problem that is causing me to loose hair, I have tried to fix it but my grasp of Javascript just isn't cutting it. If you goto http://serennz.sakura.ne.jp/toybox/lightbox/ and click on the image "Sample 2" then use the next arrow to go to "Sample 3" you have to hover off the image and then back on to get the previous and zoom icons to show again. I have been able to make the bug occur every time in both Firefox 3.6 and IE6. I am guessing the mouseover event isn't triggering correctly due to the image object moving underneath the mouse pointer but I just can't fix it. Any help, pushes in the right direction, anything. I am making a simple lightbox without using the silly plugins and I want to know how to make the lightbox resize equally when its being loaded. I can only get it expand from the corner, I want it to stretch down then widen but equally on both sides. this is the code im using: Code:
