Hello to all ... I am very basic on this of javascript, so someone could help me how to resolve this issue. I have a javascript (HTML internal), which fetches and executes a file in another web address... but I do not want it to do that, i want this script to execute is function directly from my local disk (file location). Here is the script; Code:

What I want is to change this part;; preview_url: "http://myflashtest.com/files/9083/preview.swf", base: "http://myflashtest/files/9083/" Hi there, I have a photo editing business with many people working in Photoshop. I am currently developing a web based application (joblist) using Javascript and PHP which should allow the photoshop designers to browse and open files/images directly from joblist/web browser into photoshop. The reason I want this instead of browsing folder is that I have a database where I store who worked on which file, when and how long it took. The concept is that, designers will select a file and click on start, as soon as they click on start the original file will open in Photoshop and there will be an entry into database (using PHP). Once they finish the task they will close the file and click on Finish button. My joblist application will be published in a local server and the file will be open on a local network, so when they save the file it will be saved where the source file is located in (local server). The application should work in both PC and Mac. Anybody can help me to write the code (PHP or Javascript) which can open the file from browser (local server) directly into desktop application e.g. PHotoshop or Illustrator? Thank you very much I look forward to someone's real help! I am a newbie. I would like to know how I can get the following script to work on the web. I have produced a flyer in iWeb on my mac. I published it on line and then viewed the source while it appeared on my web browser. The code is below. I then copied this code into a webmail server panel that sends out emails to a list of people in a database. The flyer didn't appear. It just came back as the code I copied. No pictures, no colours etc. I noticed the term javascript in the code. Did some research and found that I might need to convert this to html. Am I right? Can anyone test this for me? js2html is a program that apparently does this for me. Is that what I should buy? Anyway, here's the script...

Blank

Something is up with my coding, when I try to load the page.. it will only load in notepad. Is there a way to enter keystrokes from the HTML into a (my form) text area (password) using Java. From the example below I am trying to put (1) into myform.
1
Thank You for any Info. Hello, I am trying to create simple Java Script form that will open a URL based on the contents entered into the form. The form shall consist of only a text box and submit button. A user will enter XXXX in the text box and click submit. The form would then load a URL consisting of http://www.company.com/XXXX I know this can be done because I had a code like this a few years back but I have lost it. I've been searching for over an hour, trying to figure this out. Any help would be grately appreciated. Thanks! I am having trouble getting this code to work correctly. What I am trying to do is on my site i will have a button that will open this popup window with a login form and what i would like it to do is when the form is submitted i want the window to close and the main page to redirect to whatever page i would like it sent to. And if the login information is wrong i would like the popup window to stay open and say that it is wrong in red letters at the top. Here is the code for the popup window: PHP Code: <?php if($target == "LogIn") { if($view == "Form") { echo '
 Username:
Password: <INPUT type="image" src="images/login.jpg" ALT="Click Here to Login!"
