JavaScript - Invoice Javascript (add Table And Calc Total)
Hi, I'm trying to create a Invoice form with javascript. Basically, my invoice form should have the field item, cost, quantity and product total.
It shd have a function to allow the user to add rows if they want more than one item. In the end, there should be a sub total. I am able to use javascript to calc the total of each product, but not all products(Grand total). I am also unable to add rows. Can anyone help me? Thanks! and now my problem is...I have a textbox for the overall total, and i want it automatic subtract the total earn and total deduction.. I will attach my codes for further understanding. Everything works fine, when all the dropdown select value has it's own value and does not correspond to each other. Eg : Cake Type : Round $4.00 Cake Color : Red $3.00 Cake Filling : Raspberry $4.00 So total is $11.00 The problem comes when you want to add Cake Layers and the price of Cake Color changes based on No of Layers - 1 Layer , 2 Layer and so on. Again, here my sales tax is highlighted in red. My problem specifically is that I'm unable to: 1.) get the sales tax rate to calculate based on the value of the subtotal, and 2.) on selection for including taxes, to bind the sale tax amount to the total. The only problem I am facing is changing form.answer.value It won't change, why not? Hello, I am trying to use select options to get birthdate and calculate the age. I got the birthday with "birthDay = document.form1.selDate;" However i'm lost on the birthMonth and birthYear. I've looked at lots of examples. The birthMonth probably needs to be converted to integer, or use 1 thru 12 rather than Jan thru Dec. But birthYear i'd think would come back as a valid number. Is anyone familiar with this? Thanks. My issue is that I have a javascript function applied on page load via an addLoadEvent function call in the head to every row (dynamic number of records retrieved) on a table. On every row of the table I also have an element (image or button) that performs a different function that is assigned on the element itself. Unfortunately, when I click the element it also performs the function that was applied to the row in the page load. Is there any way to not call this function on element click? the starting point may vary, any help please? I'm creating a web form that allows users to select from a list, choose a quantity and have the total for that quantity calculated, but when I run the html, I get Nan in the total price box. The problem starts with the calc price function. I've tried eval(), parseFloat to change the text to a number, but I think I'm putting the code in the wrong place.
