JavaScript - Auto Click On Webpage After Pages Loads
Hello
I am using PC as my tv, I watch tv on media player live channels I want some codes that would automatically double click on click where ever I want like may be 10 seconds after page loads so it would full screen the channel so I don't have to please help thank you so much. may be something like this PHP Code: <script language="javascript> window.setTimeout("autoClick()", 150); function autoClick() { // do whatever } </script> Similar TutorialsHello, I don't know if this can be done in Javascript, or requires any other language but i was wondering if this would be possible. I would like to embed this Javascript code in to a PHP file and then for it to run automatically upon the PHP file loading: Code: <td class="smallDesc"> <a name="fb_share" type="button_count" href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php">Share</a><script src="http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/connect.php/js/FB.Share" type="text/javascript"></script> </td> The Javascirpt is the Facebook Share button that basically allows users that have Facebook to share the page there currently on in their Facebook status by pressing the button, but if there not logged in it shows the login page, not a problem just continue the script. The current button i which is what i want to load automatically in the PHP file is located here, to test the functionalilty just click "Share" button in blue.. http://watch-movies-online.anyfilman...-Movie-17.html To summarise, i would like the above Javascript code to execute automatically upon pageload of this PHP file.. http://www.watch-movies-online.anyfi...p://google.com. If that could be done, and if this also is possible.. i would like for the "Share" button on the external page that is loaded from the Javascript code above to be clicked automatically so in effect when ever someone visits the PHP page after clicking "Click Here to Watch/Stream 2012 Online For Free" on this page it will automatically load the Facebook Share box, and automatically click the "Share" Button and then close the page if possible, but not required. Please feel free to ask any questions, i'll be happy to answer. Thanks in advance. Best Regards, Jonathan. Hello, I'd like to make an iframe that will automatically get the height of the webpage it is on (not the source url) - I'm not talking the browser viewport but the entire document - so basically the height in pixels minus a certain value to prevent the iframe from sliding out - example: Code: <iframe src="http://google.com/" height="CURRENT DOCUMENT'S HEIGHT MINUS 50" width="FIXED"></iframe> Maybe it is better to achieve this function in php - or any other way? And perhaps there is some better way than an iframe - like a container of some sort that can automatically expand to the webpage's length... Thanks in advance! I did not set this up. We currently have an intranet and the navigation has a drop down menu, which is a linkset or a popitmenu. When we update the link on the index page it does not update globally. Is there a way to do this? Or would we have to go to each active page and update the linkset manually? Our experience is minimal in the coding world. We are currently using Dreamweaver. Any help would be much appreciated? Should we have used a different nav coding? A "spry"?... idk... can someone help me to write a code to autoclick the following codes? note that the codes are partial codes.. help me to write the solution into a script file Code 1 <table class="bgmain" width="99.75%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td valign="top"> <form method="POST" action="tvalidate.php"> <input type="hidden" name="id" size="20" value="29409"><input type="hidden" name="xfile" size="20" value="29409.pdf"> <input type="submit" value="Download" name="Enter"> </form> Code 2 <div class="smallcurve"> <div class="t"><div class="r"><div class="b"><div class="l"><div class="tl"><div class="tr"><div class="bl"><div class="br"> <div class="smallcontent"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" align="center"><tr><td> </ul> </td></tr></table> <center> <form method=POST action=http:blablabla.com/29409.pdf><b>Full-Text Document View/ Download :</b> <input type=image border=0 align=absmiddle src=./images/pimages.jpg title="Click here to view full- text item"> anyone can help me?? Code: var milisec=0 document.d.d2.value='0' function display(){ if (milisec>=9){ location.replace('javascript:chresp(1,0)'); // i want to doing auto click to this link -> javascript:chresp(1,0) } else milisec+=1 document.d.d2.value=milisec setTimeout("display()",1000) } display() Hey guys just need a little help. I need to create a little script that clicks a link automatically and opens it up in a new page. So far I have this: Code: <head> <script> function autoClick(){ document.getElementById('linkToClick').click(); } </head> <body onload="setTimeout('autoClick();',3000);"> <a id="linkToClick" href="http://www.google.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">GOOGLE</a> </body> It works but the problem is that IE popup blocker keeps blocking the new window. Is there a way to do the same thing with javascript without it having blocked by IE popup blocker? Hey guys. I need a Javascript that clicks on particular co-ordinates on page load. I'll even make do with a script that clicks on a random co-ordinate on page load. Just a simple click has to be made automatically on page load on the page. I tried using and editing this code: Code: <html> <head> <script> window.onload = function(){ document.getElementById("autoid").click(); } </script> </head> <body> <a href="http://google.com" id="autoid">Search Engine</a> </body> </html> but its of no use because I want it to click on another javascript, thats another Code: <script type="text/javascript"> [Script data goes here that takes about 700 x 700 pixels on the screen] </script> I want a click to be made on this script somehow. I can add Code: window.setTimeout('clickit()',5000); function clickit(){ location.href = document.getElementById("autoid"); myself which will delay it so the click occurs after page load but I just want a click to happen on top of that javascript. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers! Thanks, ~Christian Ok know those people who are in the bad habit of double clicking everything? Well my site breaks if they double click it... is there a script I can use that won't let my functions run more then once every so many seconds? to avoid double clicking errors? i have a javascript bookmark to log me onto my schools site javascript: window.location.href="http://www.MySchool";login=document.getElementById('Login'); void(login.value='user'); pass=document.getElementById('pass');void(pass.value='pass'); LoginbuttonSubmit(); without window.location.href="http://www.MySchool" it works fine if the page is already open, but with using the link to open the page, it runs the remaning script before the page loads and it doesn't work. is there any way to fix this withou using setTimeout() Resolved
Hey guys, hope this is in the right place... Basically I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction or to an example of where a div slides onto the screen as soon as a page loads. My client wants something like this: http://www.nytimes.com/packages/html...ion/index.html (without parallax or the fade-in) but I refuse to do it in Flash, obviously. I have this gallery he http://juicenothing.com/freelance/gallery.php The div id is wrap. Is this possible? I can't find a good example anywhere!! Thanks (i'm a bit of a n00b, so pls go easy on me ) I have an issue with my javascript files loading (i.e. checking the source code of the page after having loaded yields working links to my external files and the JQuery loading for sure after running some test), but calling a function from my javascript file works in no way shape or form. For example, one test I was running was: From my .js file Code: $("p").click( function() { $(this).hide(); } ) This will work on a standalone page when I test it (not loading from external .js file), but not in the page I need to get my scripts running on. So I am having a bit of a weird issue. I am trying to make a webpage compatible with IE8 and it's quite painful. The page works great in firefox and chrome, but in IE8 it only loads some of the time. About 60% of the time the page loads and executes properly, but the other 40% of the time it looks like it hits an error somewhere and doesn't finish loading. I have tried using the IE error console / debugger (by pressing F12), but I can't seem to find any information about why the page isn't loading properly. The page that I am working on is located he http://tinyurl.com/89anxbd The page uses an SVG based UI, and in order to make this compatible with <= IE8 I am using SVGWeb to render the SVG code as flash for IE8 users. For Firefox, and other browser-compliant users the SVG code is rendered natively in the browser. Here is an image of what the page should look like (when it does load correctly in IE8): Here is an image of what the page looks like when it fails to load: It is like the page defines the circle elements for the various cities, but has not yet rendered the provinces (which are defined above the cities in the HTML body), but I'm not 100% sure on this. Any help is much appreciated! I have up to 3 dropdown lists that I can select using javascript functions. Depending on what I select in the first dropdown loads what is in the 2nd drop down and so on. i want to be able to select the first drop down and it skips the 2nd one and displays the 3rd one. How do I do that with the current functions I am using. Code: function cboSourceChange(){ var iSource = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSource.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSource.selectedIndex].value; var iSub1 = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub1.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub1.selectedIndex].value; var iSub2 = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub2.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub2.selectedIndex].value; var dtBeginDate = document.frmHarvestForm.txtBeginDate.value; var dtEndDate = document.frmHarvestForm.txtEndDate.value; var iIndCert = document.frmHarvestForm.cboIndCert.value; location.replace("HarvestBoard.asp?cboSource="+iSource+"&cboSub1=0&cboSub2=0&cboSub3=0&txtBeginDate="+dtBeginDate+"&txtEndDate="+dtEndDate+"&cboIndCert="+iIndCert); } function cboSub1Change(){ var iSource = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSource.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSource.selectedIndex].value; var iSub1 = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub1.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub1.selectedIndex].value; var dtBeginDate = document.frmHarvestForm.txtBeginDate.value; var dtEndDate = document.frmHarvestForm.txtEndDate.value; var iIndCert = document.frmHarvestForm.cboIndCert.value; location.replace("HarvestBoard.asp?cboSource="+iSource+"&cboSub1="+iSub1+"&cboSub2=0&cboSub3=0&txtBeginDate="+dtBeginDate+"&txtEndDate="+dtEndDate+"&cboIndCert="+iIndCert); } function cboSub2Change(){ var iSource = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSource.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSource.selectedIndex].value; var iSub1 = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub1.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub1.selectedIndex].value; var iSub2 = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub2.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub2.selectedIndex].value; var dtBeginDate = document.frmHarvestForm.txtBeginDate.value; var dtEndDate = document.frmHarvestForm.txtEndDate.value; var iIndCert = document.frmHarvestForm.cboIndCert.value; location.replace("HarvestBoard.asp?cboSource="+iSource+"&cboSub1="+iSub1+"&cboSub2="+iSub2+"&cboSub3=0&txtBeginDate="+dtBeginDate+"&txtEndDate="+dtEndDate+"&cboIndCert="+iIndCert); } function cboSub3Change(){ var iSource = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSource.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSource.selectedIndex].value; var iSub1 = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub1.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub1.selectedIndex].value; var iSub2 = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub2.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub2.selectedIndex].value; var iSub3 = document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub3.options[document.frmHarvestForm.cboSub3.selectedIndex].value; var dtBeginDate = document.frmHarvestForm.txtBeginDate.value; var dtEndDate = document.frmHarvestForm.txtEndDate.value; var iIndCert = document.frmHarvestForm.cboIndCert.value; location.replace("HarvestBoard.asp?cboSource="+iSource+"&cboSub1="+iSub1+"&cboSub2="+iSub2+"&cboSub3="+iSub3+"&txtBeginDate="+dtBeginDate+"&txtEndDate="+dtEndDate+"&cboIndCert="+iIndCert); } Does anyone know what's wrong with this code because when the page loads, the link is not being hidden Code: window.onload = setTarget; function setTarget() { var theLinks = document.getElementsByTagName('a'); for(var i = 0; i < theLinks.length; i++) { if(theLinks[i].getAttribute('href') == '/subjects/new') { theLinks[i].style.display = "none"; } } } |
