Ok, I would post my entire data here but then yall would be reading insane amounts of script. I've got a div content jquery slider on my site I am making and it works beautifully in all browsers(took me a while). Then, I decided why not have it where when people click on a "read more" link that it pops up a box, instead of directing to the new page, and displays the contents of a div. It would not work at all. My question is there a possible way to do this?

which works fine, what i am trying to acheive is to pull out the category of the products in the list and use it in the script.

so where it says this

As you can see by the highlighted portion, the user is alerted once they make a selection. It should go something like this:

[Add to table] Football
[Add to table] Basketball
[Add to table] Baseball

Once they click the 'add to table' button, their selection should be added to a table that is at the bottom of the page. So far, all I've been able to do is generate an alert box, but I know thats not right. Any information anyone has would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

i am a newbie to jquery and need help.

i want to alert anything when i click at any button that have the class .resetBtn using jquery.
I know doing it with javascript is much easier but i learning jquery so trying to create function by myself.

Since the checkbox is checked with the PHP code the click function to jQuery never gets invoked and my textarea remains disabled. Is there anyway to basically invoke the jQuery code with my PHP script? Thanks in advance.

I am trying to include Dock MAC style Menu in my page which is floating.

Here I am facing a problem is, when we hover on menu icon, without scrolling page at bottom, the menu icons are not getting bigger in size, as it should be.

And when you reached at bottom, moving scrollbar down, those icon gets bigger when we hover.

Can you suggest me something???

I have placed the script just before the end of body tag. I also tried placing the code in starting of body tag, then the reverse thing happen. The icon gets bigger without moving scrollbar down and when we move to bottom, or scroll, the effects lost.

Surprisingly, this jQuery plugin nearly works in IE6. You can see the error that is produced at the bottom of the article corner. (I'm tackling the other issues... .png later)

I'm currently playing with some projects, and one of them is creating a simple 2D chat, where users have an avatar, that they can move around and chat with.

I want to do this with PHP and jQuery. Question here is, if I set it to auto-update the chat every 1 second, and get the new values in the database (if user has moved position), will it suck up too much bandwidth if there's 5 - 30 users online at the same time?

I know there's other better ways of creating a 2D chat, but I'm just doing this for practice of my programming skills.

I am simply trying to get 2 booking systems working on the 1 page but it seems that they have a conflict, they both access the exact sames files but whatever one is at the top get priority and works and the 2nd one below doesn't.
