JavaScript - Check If String Has A Certain Email Format
I have thought about using the standard email checker pattern but we have had problems in the past so looking to check if the string follows these simple rules.
has no spaces, has a character/s at the start followed by an @ then has a character/s followed by a (dot) then another character/s i.e a@a.a aa@aa.aa aaa@aaaaaaaaa.aaa i am not sure how the standard pattern works but feel that it may be to complex which causes some email address to fail. callback should be a string so why is it saying otherwise? This should return true, as the string in the str variable is indeed Arabic character. But it returns false. Need some help here on this.. I want to add javascript to cut the string in Username. When the use type full domain address it will cut the string from "@camintel.com" and "@camintel.com.kh" . So if user type "test@camintel.com" in Username, the input will be "test". I tried to code it my self, but none is working. So please, could u help me to code this? Thanks alots. Problem I'm having is how do i do a check to see if those checkboxes are checked in the javascript with those name arrays? How do i separate them? Can you please point out a few things i'm eager to learn how to Forward User to email provider after he creates his account . Or how can i forward email to URL inside my webpage , this could help me with another ideea i have, again this would have to be filtered @yahoo.com , @hotmail.com etc , to be forwarded to a local URL inside the site depending on what Email Provider they enter . Note this is only intended to be used on IE8. As it stands, the ouput generates and formats exactly as I want bar two things: 1) Does anyone know how I can get some of the text to bold? I've tried everything I can think of (html tags, escape characters etc etc). Is there a way to open a word window in rtf perhaps? 2) Does anyone know how I can insert a small image (a signature in gif or jpg) into the document? I can use a browser window instead of word, which formats, bolds, images etc, however I then get the issue of headers/footers when printing. I cannot disable headers everytime I want to print a letter, it's not practical. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Cheers!
