JavaScript - Help! Javascript Problem Due To Different Browsers!
Hi, I have a JS that can run on IE but cannot on FireFox and Safari. The script like this:

Actually, I used Javascript a lot in that website and I am developing it in Internet Explorer Environment but I want to display it on the Firefox or Google Chrome but the problem is some of javascript codes do not work in these browsers. on the page's first load, all the info is there in the iframe, but except for IE, updates do not show (the reloads dont seem to occur). I have a javascript that precedes this script containing a setTimeout, but never had issues with it. I can post the entire page code, if needed... thanks again. Nice It works on every browser ie7 ie8 ie9 FF safari chrome but not on opera. On Opera the regular file input appears. I've had a good hoke round the 'net and I know there's loads of scripts which do similar things. But either they are too complicated for me to figure out how to use them eg uploadify (bit of a newbie) or they do similar things but just not as well - like making the custom image the same size as the file input would be (there's issues with that too). here's the script I'm using - there's not much to it How come it doesn't work in Opera grrrr... Is there anyway to fix it? This is perfect for what I want apart from not working in Opera I got an index.php Code:

With the current code on bacakomik.php, I only can change the img src of id "im" in the same directory only. What I want is that the Javascript could "add" the "$exploded[0]" variable so that the picture can be loaded from different directory. Anyone can do this? I believe that the fix should be somewhere on input tag inside OnClick, or do you know where? Hi there, I only just learning JavaScript and have a question about a bit of script I am playing with. I am basically trying to access XML elements (RSS feed) through a bit of PHP. Everything is working fine when trying to access the <title> and <link>, but when I get to <description> everything breaks down... If I comment out this line var theDescription = descriptions[j].childNodes[0].nodeValue; and <p>' + theDescription + '</p>' then the script works fine and displays the titles and the links of the feed, but with those lines in it all goes to pot. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong here? I have an html page with javascript on it, but the page will not work properly. Spent a lot of time on this and can not get it right. Wonder if someone ca help. I'm having a problem with a javascript code I put together. For all of the PHP, CSS, HTML that I know, well it doesn't carry over to JavaScript, so my attempt at trying this is probably a very bad attempt. Anyways, what I'm trying to accomplish with this code is to get the height of one table and set the padding-bottom to another table, to keep page dimensions even. The error from IE8 is document.getElementById(....) is null or not an object.
