JavaScript - Ajax Mysql Results With Lightbox Link?
Hello everyone, I wonder if you can help a noob.
I have an AJAX query that loads results from a mysql query into a div on my page. It all renders well with echoed results from a php query file. However I cannot get echoed links with a tag to open it up in light/slim/media box to work. Any ideas? Here is the part of the queried php that returns the results. Code: echo "<table width='100%'>";

This maybe a better example: My goal is: To allow website visitors to searches site for i.e. "Dog Collars", the results page lists every "dog collar" and store that carries "dog collars" (in database). At that point I would like to have links (on the results page) to all brands of "dog collars" and stores that carry "dog collars". I would like to then be able to click on a "brand" (text link) of "dog collars" and then generate a new results page that lists all store and vendor information. thank you in advance! I am having an issue where I am using lightbox, however what is showing up is a text link "Request Email." I understand how to manipulate this text to say anything I want. However, I am having difficulty changing the text link to an image. Instead of the text, I want to have an image (button) stored on my server http://www.something.com/something.jpeg be the link to click on instead of the text. I have been following a tutorial for an image gallery, i can upload images and use gd to create thumbnails that when clicked display the full sized image, but the full sized image is to big to fit in my design, i have managed to get the rel="lightbox" attached to the thumbnails as they are displayed but it wont load the full image, the loading ring just keeps going round, does anybody know how to fix this? is it even possible. BTW i am a complete beginner so please be gentle.
I have an ajax tabbed site which loads the content in the div below it. I made a drop down link so that the user could select one of 3 on one tab but this is outside of the script.js. I can open it up in the current page, but the menu is in a frame and I need to open it in a fram called "home". How can I do that~?? everything happens within the "content" div. how do i do this without passing a url parameter though? so far i've written down: 1. click link 2. call function to empty #content div 3. load in fragment of next page into #content div 4. ??? populate fragment with database info, the row chosen by what link was clicked ??? i'm using jquery and php. so far i've figured out: Code: $('.linkClass').bind('click',callNextPage()); any ideas? Hi, I am hoping I just need to be pointed in the right direction with this. I have Page1. When Page1 body onloads it uses Ajax to call PartA Within PartA I have a message board so members can write messages which will be sent to my database in PartA[1] and immediately posted for view on to PartA[2]. As I want to have my request to the server updating regularly I want to have PartA[2] on a timed loop to refresh - I do not need the content of PartA[1] to refresh. So the order of events would look like this: Page1 | onload call | v PartA / \ V V PartA[1] PartA[2] (loads once) (constantly refreshes) What I am not sure about is that I have <body> and <head> attributes in Page1 only. I have already used my body onload to call PartA (and can't use it to call PartA[2] before PartA has loaded anyway). I do not want the user to have to click a button or do anything to call up PartA[2]. So my question is how would I get PartA[2] to automatically load within PartA? I hope I have made this clear, but if I haven't let me know and I will try again. Hello. Am I missing any coding or anything? I'm really confused and have yet to find any help. Thanks. P.S. The reason I'm writing is because the images aren't opening. Hi, I am using Lightbox+ and overall it's very good for my needs. However it has a small problem that is causing me to loose hair, I have tried to fix it but my grasp of Javascript just isn't cutting it. If you goto http://serennz.sakura.ne.jp/toybox/lightbox/ and click on the image "Sample 2" then use the next arrow to go to "Sample 3" you have to hover off the image and then back on to get the previous and zoom icons to show again. I have been able to make the bug occur every time in both Firefox 3.6 and IE6. I am guessing the mouseover event isn't triggering correctly due to the image object moving underneath the mouse pointer but I just can't fix it. Any help, pushes in the right direction, anything.
