i'm sorting a 2d array by whatever column i specify. i know from using firebug that my sorting is working, but it's getting and displaying undefined for dataToInsert and inside of my table, but sortedArray winds up sorted correctly. Similar TutorialsIts me again .. I am using the jquery script to allow users in select a calender date from the a popup window. however, when selected, the calender is being displayed underneath the popup windows and not on top. any ideas or pointer on this one as its driving me mad, i've been trying to fix it since 7:30am and still no further forward. please help, many thanks. why doesn't this work? So I am working on a project that converts fahrenheit to celcius, or the other way around. So when I click on the radio button for fahrenheit to celcius, it disables the celcius textbox, and the celcius to fahrenheit radio button disables the fahrenheit text box. What I can't figure out is how to get my radio buttons to reset the form to be able to enter another conversion to be made. What it does is locks up both text boxes so that I can't enter anything at all after the first time I do it. Code: <body>

The problem is that nothing is happening when I press the calculation button. What I would like to happen is to display a div element for each value in the array which displays the entered value from VenCost2, the current Margin %, and the result of VenCost2 * margin%. I want this to display on the same page and underneath the calculation button, preferably not having to reload the page. I thought this was going to be relatively easy but doesn't seem so! So essentially the process is: 1. The person clicks on the company name. 2. Relevant information from the array is shown in the div. But what I want is that on startup, information about a random company is shown automatically. How can I achieve this? Thanks. It's actually set up through PHP, which pulls the info from a database then translates it into JS. I know it's set up correctly since I can see it in the source once the page is rendered. However, accessing this array causes external JS code (from my Slimbox files) to be displayed in the nav. It's as if the array is set up right, but accessing the elements brings in Slimbox code as the elements. It's very strange. You can see the effect here. Try the jewelry nav on the Home page and the categories are set up fine. This is because other pages do not link to Slimbox. I'm having an issue with displaying data from one array that contains information about users in a table that is controlled by a different array. Is it possible to do this or is this use of arrays to display the data the wrong approach? The table is located on one webpage, I simply want to extract one piece of information that I have placed in the initial array as part of the login script that contains user information (for validation for login etc) and display it in a table on the new webpage that is opened as a result of successful validation of the user details. I'm completely stumped and after many attempts I just can't seem to get it to work. I can't seem to figure out how to accomplish this. In my website, I would like the user to input text into a single or multiple textbox(es) and then have the contents of the textbox(es) stored to either a variable or an array. Then I would like to have that variable/array compared to other arrays. Basically, the user is searching for items in a database. The user can search for as many or as little items as they want. Then the item(s) will be compared to multiple arrays to find out if what the user wants is in the database. So for example, let's say the user is searching for recipes that have all or part of these ingredients: chicken, broccoli, lemon, honey. So, there would have been a total of 4 textboxes...one for each ingredient. These ingredients are stored to an array..lets call it ingredient(). In the database of recipes, each recipe has its own array which includes the ingredients needed to make the recipe, we'll call them tag1(), tag2(), and tag3(). Now, I want the array, ingredient(), to be compared to each of the "tag" arrays to see if any of the "tag" arrays include exactly match the ingredient() tag in part or in whole. Is this possible? When added to a webpage, nothing shows up except the "Hi!" and there are no errors in the Javascript Console in Google Chrome. Is this possible with Javascript, and if so, what am I doing wrong or not doing? Also, I have 2 URLs, one is a text file that has the HIGH text I want for an example, the other is the current file, which shouldn't have HIGH in it (unless the weather in the US turns really bad) |
