hey i have combo box it has names name -1 name-2 name-3 name-4 when select a name-1 just display a alert message of age plz help me to do this plz any sample coding for this Firebug is giving me no error messages, but alert() message is never triggered. I know that Javascript cannot look at the URLs in the browser's history object. I am not concerned with the content. I have a page that is a serious problem when user's hit the BACK button and get to it because it causes a ping-pong affect of going back, and then loading the next page again (and again and again) each time the user hits back. Is there any way to know if the page being displayed is not the last page in the history? Folks I'm using the code below to create a pop-up search box that finds text strings on a contents page. The contents page contains a list of hyperlinks each of which opens a PDF document in the same window. The search box does exactly what it's intended to do, but the problem is this: if the user clicks on "Find next" or "Find previous" once the PDF document is open, an error occurs; the same error occurs if the user then navigates back to the contents page and clicks on "Find next" or "Find previous". Hi Guys, seen some pages who give alerts or Warnings mentioning that i'm moving away from my webpage. In most cases it provides us with the correct page source but for certain sites (ones that have multiple document layers), it doesn't return the top most document. For instance, for the site (https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/) we would like to source for the main page that is displayed but once the entire page is loaded, the document property would display the source for another layer (https://s7.addthis.com/static/r07/sh...rev=86981&xd=1) This perhaps has to do with how opera loads the document layers in a page. We did not face any issue with any other browser How can we obtain the source of the main page (https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/) using the document object in Opera ? I'm writing a calculator script that will need user input (how much they pay on internet, phone or cable bill) and then multiply those numbers by a known rate and then show the customer the new number. I have the math setup (working right now), and the script works to spit out the answers in an alert. Instead of the alert (which is the only thing I can do correctly at this point), I need the script to give the answers for each bill and then a total answer at the bottom.
