I have added an HTML contact form at the bottom of the page which goes off to a Form2Email PHP script. (All working fine) I really want to autofill one of the sections of this form "QUOTED PRICE" with the value calculated by my earlier product calculator. But I would like certain values to be chosend randomly from a list I create. I contacted the developer and he said the add on probably does not need a new feature because there is a 'dynamic tags' function to fill certain forms with dynamic values (e.g. the current time or date). He has given over the project to another developer and told me I probably would find a solution in a good javascript programming forum. So here I am! Can anyone help me with this? Basically, I just need a javascript code which chooses on item from an array randomly, I guess? I'm not a programmer myself, so any help would be greatly (!) appreciated. For IE8+9, the quicktime crescendo/midi control shows .. but when I click the play button on it, it almost immediately stops. Other Windows browsers(Firefox and Safari and IE 7) play just fine, together with all Macintosh browsers. I really need some help here ... thanks in advance. BTW, here's the link. Usually people put in code within the embed, so if it the player doesn't load, it would have the message behind stating the fact. However I haven't seen this used at all with DivX, instead, you see pop-up boxes, whether installed or not, stating "Don't have DivX Web Player? Get it here for windows or mac" I find this extremely annoying, and would never want such informalities on my website. Hi there, I was searching for a way to clear the text from my form boxes upon clicking. Well, I was able to find a script for that. However, I also want these boxes to input the original text if a user clicks in and then clicks out without putting any of his own text in. For example, it says: Email Address (onclick = nothing), but if you don't input any data and click out of the box, I want it to say Email Address again. WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?! I am ripping my hair out trying to figure out why my innerHTML code is not working. It only works in IE, but keeps failing in Chrome and Firefox. I am using a form text field for customers to enter a Gallery ID (text value in the form field) which I have set up for them in an external js file. I use this code to change the content of div's after it checks the js file for a matching text value. Here is what is happening-- the proper content shows up for a second in Chrome or Firefox if the username value matches, but it pops away really fast and goes back to the login field prompt. Where am I going wrong and what can I do to make this work in Chrome and Firefox? It works great in IE. Thanks! Any guidance on this? Hi all, I'm faced to a problem : I'm programming a styles generator for the Stylish add-on. What i want is the same thing that when i click on the button "Install with Stylish" : A Window appear to ask user if he wants to install the script with Stylish. I saved the website page on my desktop and opened it. Obviously it did not worked, nothing happens when i click. I also changed the path for javascript file in the html and so on.. There is a XMLhttprequest() function wich opens the url of the style ending by ".css". But i replaced the url by my file path ( by a locally file) and i replaced the statut (200 by 0, because i'm working on a local file). But whatever i do, nothing happens when i click. There is also a function called firecustomevent() who creates the event, but my knowledges are limited at this point. I read document on mozilla website on how to call an event but i can't get it to work. So if anybody knows how to display a windows asking the user if he wants to install the style, i will be grateful.
