JavaScript - How To Disable Popup That Appears When Leaving Page With Cpalead Content Locker?
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a way to disable the popup that appears by default when visitors try to leave a webpage that has my cpalead content locker widget on it. I want to disable all cases of it happening. Thanks Similar TutorialsHi all. I'm new comer here and i have no idea to find the way how to create youtube like content locker. Is possible to lock / hide content for visitor until they liked video on youtube ? I'm very basic using javascript and i don't know how to start coding. I would to thanks to all who answering my questions. Regards Hi I am wondering if it is possible to have a popup form on entering a page and have users answer say maybe 3 questions and upon hitting submit for the 3rd question the survey hides and then on leaving the page to browse to a new one or on closing the browser the form would pop up again for users to answer a few more additonal questions. Could someone let me now if this is possible to do or not? and any pointers on how to go about doing this would be very helpful? Hi, I'm very new to coding Javascript, so have no idea what I'm doing, so sorry What I'm trying to do is, on my Wordpress Blog I have a button/Image: Code: src="http://Mysite.com/Images/Button.png" I would like for when a user Clicks this Image/button, 2 things to happen - 1. For my Content Locker to pop up, I believe that i already have the correct code for that?: Code: onclick="var fileref=document.createElement('script');fileref.setAttribute('type','text/javascript'); fileref.setAttribute('src', 'http://MYCONTENTLOCKER.com/guid?:1234567890') For this content locker to trigger, The whole action needs to have a ID e.g. 'ID="button1'? And 2. For a timer to start for say 30 Seconds. When that timer ends, i would like the original button/image to be replaced with a different button/image. And when that New button is clicked i would like a text string to appear below the button - saying something e.g. 'You've completed this part' I know that this is a lot to ask, and I will be so very grateful if someone helps me out here! Thanks! Harry. Hi Experts, I am trying to open a popup window on clicking a link. It works fine, but all I need now is to disable the address/URL bar from the window for all browsers. I am using the below script... The code work perfectly (I run it with some PHP features). So far so good. Here are the problems: Left mouse button will open 4 new tabs, and the view will jump to 'http://www.domain1.com Middle mouse button will only open http://www.domain1.com What I want: Open all 4 pages in new tabs in the background and stay at the current page. PHP Code: <a href='http://www.domain1.com' onclick="window.open('http://www.domain2.com'); window.open('http://www.domain3.com'); window.open('http://www.domain4.com')\" rel="nofollow" target='new'>Open 4</a> Hi guys. I'm trying to write a macro, but I'm lost. So say if I have an array of keywords to check for on a web page, Code: var keywords=new Array(); keywords[0]="You are a cat"; keywords[1]="Are you a robot"; keywords[2]="Have a good summer"; How would I make a function that checks the currently opened web page for one of the specific keywords. And if that keyword is found, then execute some action - and if not, then execute some other action? Thanks Is there an easy way of creating one file with the website menu code that is used on each page of a website? At present I use frames which work well except search engines don't direct through the frameset so only the content is loaded not the menu. Thanks in advance Hi, I have popup window and i want when i press on "Clear" table content clear .. I used document.writeln to write into the popup window .. see the pic : Hello, well i am having this annoying issue from previous 3 months and its a very long story to tell but i will try to make it small, well i am interested in using a popup to show flash games in it, so i did then my interest went to make all games playable in full screen so i did that too and got success, but i am facing issues due to wmode, if you visit my this site link http://www.bloghuts.com/2010/11/13-days-in-hell.html and click on play game for other browsers while using google chrome browser, you will see the error there will be blocks appearing in the game, while if click on play for google chrome then this error is not there, its just because of WMODE, for google chrome button i am using wmode while for all other browsers i am not doing this. the reason for not using wmode to my other browser play button is that if i add wmode to the games then the performance of the game is highly damaged in fireforx and internet explorer, and also to some extent in other browsers including google chrome. WHAT DO I NEED FROM YOU PEOPLE? it is that i want to get rid of this wmode=opaque thing as it makes the game slow even in google chrome which is effecting game playing quality, i used window, transparent too but nothing good came out of it. Only google chrome is asking for the wmode, while our step child internet explorer is happy with it, hehehehe Please someone help me out i am literally taking out my hair, lol some more information i would like to provide so that things work fast, i am using blogger blog, i have knowledge of html, xhtml, css, and for java or jquery its hint and trial. thanks for reading the long story and giving me time, if you can help please help me out, and i don't have money to pay for your service of help, otherwise why would i try to make blog xD. thank you Regards. Cryoffalcon. Hello all, We have a job management system which contains a form where our employees input job information. When the form is submitted it brings you to a page that looks almost identical to it. On this page, the input fields have been changes to the user's submitted text. When this page loads, so does the print dialog so the user can print it instantly. The problem is that since the form and the print page look the same, some of our employees (out of habit from our old system) hit ctrl+p and print the form before submitting it. Since there is a way to automatically bring up the print dialog, I was wondering if there is a way to disable it all together. This system is used only by our employees who all use the latest version of Firefox. The solution only needs to work for this browser. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you! Is there a way to use inline javascript that will prevent any javascript after it (in the same page) from executing? So, for instance I could have something like: -Content- -JS A- -Content- -JS B- -JS C- 'JS A' would execute, 'JS B' would be the code I'm asking about and it would cause 'JS C' to not do anything. Sorry if this is an off-the-wall question. I good with C/C++, VB, Ruby, Lua, HTML, etc, but I haven't gotten to Javascript (or Java) yet so I have no idea what the capabilities or environment setup are like. Thanks in advance for any advice. I have a page with a lot of textual elements, textbox/radiobutton/checkbox prompts and a couple of buttons. I used the tabIndex property of the prompts to set a tabbing order, but unfortunately further tabbing also cycles through the static textual elements present on the page. How do I prevent that? How can I make tabbing cycle through my prompts and the cancel/finish buttons only? I am using (and targeting) IE8 if it matters. Thanks! how can i make a button disable when the page is loaded first time and then make it enable on the click of other button in javascript.
Hi I have seen this popup in a registration form. I think it's using jquery but I don't know how can I make some thing like this . I want to put a registration form in it ( ajax registration ) when the popup appear , around it will became dark how can I do so ? thanks I have a web site application written in VB.net and asp. The main page uses JavaScript to load a popup page that performs multiple tasks. The main page accepts a variety of incoming messages, only SOME of which need to be passed to this popup page for processing. I found an ugly way to pass the message to the popup by placing it in a Session variable. Now I need to cause it to be handled. I see two possibilities, and I do not have a clue how to implement either. Either one would be great: 1. In the main page, trigger a subroutine in the popup, using JavaScript. OR 2. In the popup, establish a trigger any time that Session variable changes. Hi I want to create a popup that is completely contained within the page (so i guess its not really a popup). I'm looking for something where if a button is clicked, a small box will come up in the current window and become the active window, while the original window is visible but not active. It's hard to explain, but its a popup that is contained in the same window. And when the user presses okay or cancel on the "popup" window. They return to where they were in the original window. Is this possible? How would I do it? Thanks Hi, i need to pass variables to a popup page. I have already made the page i want to be popped up, it is called popup.html and is in the same file location. Here is how i am making the page popup: Code: <head> <script type="text/javascript"> function prizes(){ var prize1 = ..... var prize2 = ..... .ect .ect myRef=window.open('popup.html','mywin','left=20,top=20,width=500,height=500,toolbar=0,resizeable=1'); myRef.focus() } </script> </head> so now i need the variables prize1, prize2....ect. to be used in the popup.html page. i now its nearly xmas but i need this for tomorrow so please help ASAP, PLEASE!! Thanks in advance! Thorbob I have a page that loads a fancybox popup and it works perfectly with the cookie for setting ho many days to show. the problem i have is that i need it to show 1 every 24 hours over a 3 day period. once the 3rd day is over and the user sees the window for the 3rd day i need a cookie set to never show the window again. here is my code as it sits now. I have worked with this for a couple of days on and off and it is above my head for sure. any help is appreciated. $(function() { if ($.cookie('moment_comm')) { // it hasn't been 1 day yet } else { $("#autostart").fancybox({'overlayShow':true, frameWidth: 840,frameHeight:360}).trigger('click'); } } ); $('#autostart').live('click', function(e) { e.preventDefault(); $.cookie("moment_comm", "true", { path: '/', expires: 1 }); $.fancybox.close() }); Hello, I had a php page, which contains links when I click on a link it will issue a new page, I want to make the main page to be refreshed once the new page being closed.
