JavaScript - Uploadify Http Error In Clipbucket
Hello, in clipbucket when I try to upload a big file like 50 Mb at the end uploadify fails to upload and says HTTP error, how can I get more error details to solve this?
I have no problem with small files upload, and php settings "max_execution_time, max_post_size, max_upload_size" etc are correctly setted... Thank you! Similar TutorialsHello, in the channel of a user in clipbucket, down page there are the tabs "Activity", "Infos", "Videos", "Groups" and "Photos"... When I click in Videos, Groups and Photos tabs clipbucket doesn't load and show them, could you help me solve this? the only problem sometimes I get in javascript error consol is "The object doesn't support the method appendTo". I marked red the line with the problem in the code below here. you can see the problem in this page, logging in with "arvixe" as username and password removed URL (NSFW) Thank you Code: function channelObjects(object, div, type, user, assign) { var obj = $(object), curRel = obj.attr('rel'), DIV = $(div), oldRel = obj.parents('ul').find('a.selected').attr('rel'); if(curRel) { if($("#"+curRel).css('display') == 'block') return false; else { obj.parents('ul').find('a.selected').removeClass('selected'); obj.addClass('selected'); $("#"+oldRel).hide(); $("#"+curRel).show(); } } else { var newRel = type+"DIV"; obj.attr('rel',newRel); $.ajax({ url : page, type : "POST", dataType : "json", data : ({ mode : "channelObjects", content : type, user : user, assign : assign}), beforeSend : function() { obj.append(loading_img) }, success : function(data) { obj.find('img').remove(); obj.parents('ul').find('a.selected').removeClass('selected'); obj.addClass('selected'); $("#"+oldRel).hide(); $("<div></div>").attr('id',newRel).addClass($("#"+oldRel).attr('class')).html(data.html).appendTo(DIV); } }) } Hello, Please take a look at http://dev.wanderthewest.com/test2_good.html Each of the left links link 1 link 2 link 3 link 4 link 5 simply calls the my_ext_func() JS function (defined in a different IFRAME!). so far, so good. now please also open http://dev.wanderthewest.com/test2_bad.html "link1" here for example shows in my FF the following error: Error: Permission denied for <http://dev.wanderthewest.com> to get property Window.my_ext_func from <http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net>. Source File: http://dev.wanderthewest.com/test2_bad.html Line: 31 and similar ones for link 2 link 3 link 4 link 5 now, what is the difference between test2_bad.html and test2_good.html ? test2_bad.html simply has the ADSENSE code on top of the google map. please look again at the error returned in FF: Permission denied for <http://dev.wanderthewest.com> to get property Window.my_ext_func from <http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net>. in other words http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net doesn't like the fact that I am trying to call a function from another IFRAME (Window.my_ext_func). Do you have any idea how to fix this? I really must use some links that call a JS function defined in a different IFRAME. Thanks a lot for your time. Sorin Hello everyone, I have setup a script called Uploadify it is a basic file uploader script however by default it does not show a link to the uploaded file. I have had to look in the documentation on to do this but there is no clear guide on how to do it. I found this function though which I belieave is the solution: http://www.uploadify.com/documentati.../oncomplete-2/ Here are the functions I am using: Code: 'onComplete' : function(event, ID, fileObj, response, data) { document.write('http://www.cqwebdesign.co.uk' + fileObj.filePath +''); } This works kinda but when it shows the link the page continues loading as if it is stuck in some loop? You can try it out he http://www.cqwebdesign.co.uk/SC2/index.html Thanks i am using the jquery plugin uploadify as an image uploader, i want the image to be able to be uploaded and then redirected to another page where you will see a thumbnail of the picture and be able edit the caption, description, etc... ... i am not interested on how to do it but only how to control variables from the files uploaded.... i have uploadify on a upload.php and it accesses the script uploadify.php to process the file handling in a regular php uploader, i could put the uploaded file information into variables and redirect to another page and use those variables... with uploadify i am not sure how to accomplish this... i can't use uploadify.php to create variables to be used, after the upload, the user remains on the page uploadify is installed on(upload.php)... how can i take the file information and put it into variables and be redirected with the ability to call those variables i'm sorry i am new to javascript and i'm trying to understand it the best i can, if someone could help me achieve this Hey guys so im kind of lost right now. I am trying to import html files directly from a website. How is the best way about doing this? I need to do this over and over again, at least every 2 seconds. My friend said there was a http/https send command or something? Anyone know? Thanks I have a text box that is updated automatically via a javascript that posts back. It works fine in IE, but not in firefox. I know I call the aspx correctly, because other code work. I tried to insert the URL that I send in the browser, and it returns data. So either the event handler is never called, or else the response is empty in firefox. Any ideas? Code: function CreateReq() { var xmlhttp=false; /*@cc_on @*/ /*@if (@_jscript_version >= 5) // JScript gives us Conditional compilation, we can cope with old IE versions. // and security blocked creation of the objects. try { xmlhttp = new ActiveXObject("Msxml2.XMLHTTP"); } catch (e) { try { xmlhttp = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); } catch (E) { xmlhttp = false; } } @end @*/ if (!xmlhttp && typeof XMLHttpRequest!='undefined') { try { xmlhttp = new XMLHttpRequest(); } catch (e) { xmlhttp=false; } } if (!xmlhttp && window.createRequest) { try { xmlhttp = window.createRequest(); } catch (e) { xmlhttp=false; } } return xmlhttp; } function fetch(){ var xmlhttp=CreateReq(); //alert ("fetch"); xmlhttp.open("GET", "CtrlLoader.aspx?MachinePrefix="+ document.getElementById('LblMachinePrefix').value+ "&RequestTime="+ (new Date()).getTime()+"&method=Refresh",false);//was true xmlhttp.onreadystatechange=function() { if (xmlhttp.readyState==4) { document.getElementById('TxtCtrlConsole').value+=xmlhttp.responseText; for (var i=0;i<200;i++) document.getElementById('TxtCtrlConsole').scrollTop=document.getElementById('TxtCtrlConsole').scrollHeight; } } xmlhttp.send(null); } Edit: it appears, that it s the onreadystate function that is never called. I tried adding an alert to it. I also tried init of onreadystatechange before open. No effect for firefox Does anyone know how to go about getting a function a bit like fckeditor / ckeditor where when you type a full URL into the 'link to' box it automatically removes the 'http://' part on the fly (i.e. as soon as another character after the initial 'http://' is typed), just leaving the user with www.etc.... in the input? I am trying to build something similar, and am a bit lost going through the fckeditor code! Thanks, Neil Hi i want to find out the idle time when there is no http request is going on... i dont want to track any mouse or key board events... i dont want that... i read these thread but it is only about screen idle time http://www.codingforums.com/showthre...t=33068&page=2 i am trying to track the time when there is no transaction going between client and server and no http request is sending . if i will get that time then that time i can use to load my additional javascript files... so further transaction of user will become speed up.... i appreciate your help THANKS Hi, I am writing JavaScript code that runs inside HTTP page, I need to make XMLHttpRequest to a REST web service. The service is running on the same site but it only accepts HTTPS. I tried to prefix the URL with https:// and Firefox rejected it as cross-site scripting attempt. It's not really cross site as I am calling the same site. I don't have an option to redirect the entire page to https. Is there a proper way to implement this request? Sergey p.s. (sorry if this is a dumb question, I am a JavaScript newbie) For example ,There is a "Link" called "go to view" at the bottom of the my page, which is redirecting to http://localhost/test.php . if we use $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] in test.php page It will display the url of the page from which link was clicked. The problem is this my URL can be seen at the target page. This needs to be avoided. How can i do this using javascript ? My website is https and I have both the http and https in my webmaster account and the http version is showing 150+ errors for one of the plugins but https version in Webmaster account does not show any. Do I need to worry about the http version since it redirects to the https?

It works great. When I add this: Code: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> It doesn't work. I need it for some aspects of my CSS to work. The code that works without that is: Code: <html> <script> function resizeAll( ) { var divs = document.getElementsByTagName("div"); for ( var d = 0; d < divs.length; ++d ) { var div = divs[d]; if ( div.className == "fn-area" ) { divid = divs[d].getAttribute("id"); imgid = "Img" + divid; var Div1Width, Div1Height; Div1Width = document.getElementById(divid).offsetWidth; Div1Height = document.getElementById(divid).offsetHeight; document.getElementById(imgid).style.width = Div1Width; document.getElementById(imgid).style.height = Div1Height; } } } </script> <head> </head> <body onLoad="resizeAll()"> <div id="Div1" class="fn-area" style="width:100px;height:100px; border:1px solid black;" onmouseover="document.getElementById('ImgDiv1').style.display='block';" onmouseout="document.getElementById('ImgDiv1').style.display='none';"> <img id="ImgDiv1" src="fnclientlib/styles/artwork/creep_stamp5.gif" style="display:none"/> </div> <div id="Div2" class="fn-area" style="width:300px;height:300px; border:1px solid black;" onmouseover="document.getElementById('ImgDiv2').style.display='block';" onmouseout="document.getElementById('ImgDiv2').style.display='none';"> <img id="ImgDiv2" src="fnclientlib/styles/artwork/creep_stamp5.gif" style="display:none"/> </div> </body </html> (just started JS 2 weeks ago) -- this is also my first time posting here, if my post isnt following the proper template let me know and Ill fix it .. Thanks so much for taking the time to check this out in advance Im trying to make the first ul tag in the each slideMenus[] array index values have a position of left = 0px I keep recieving this error however ____________________________________________________ Error: slideMenus[i].getElementsByTagName("ul").style is undefined Line: 63 ------------------------------------------------------------------ the script in question is in [code]. Could someone tell me if I am just making a syntax error if not ill try redoing the whole thing. window.onload = makeMenus var currentSlide = null var timeID = null leftPos = 0 function makeMenus(){ var slideMenus = new Array() var allElems = document.getElementsByTagName("*") var slideListArr = new Array() for(var i=0 ; i < allElems.length ; i++){ if(allElems[i].className = "slideMenu") slideMenus.push(allElems[i]) } for(var i=0 ; i < slideMenus.length ; i++){ slideMenus[i].onclick = showSlide; Code: slideMenus[i].getElementsByTagName("ul")[0].style.left = "0px"; } document.getElementById("head").onClick = closeSlide document.getElementById("main").onClick = closeSlide } function showSlide(){ var slideList = this.getElementsByTagName("ul")[0] // mess with this if((currentSlide != null) && (currentSlide.id == slideList.id)) {closeSlide()} else{ closeSlide(); var currentSlide = slideList; currentSlide.style.display = "block"; timeID = setInterval('moveSlide()', 1); } } function closeSlide(){ if(currentSlide){ clearInterval(timeID); currentSlide.style.left = "0px" currentSlide.style.display = "none"; var currentSlide = null } } function moveSlide(){ var leftPos = leftPos + 5; if(leftPos <= 220) {currentSlide.style.left = leftPos + "px"} else{ clearInterval(timeID); var leftPos = 0} } Strange problem here... I'm implementing google's JS tracking code verbatim which determines whether or not the current site is using HTTP or HTTPS. It builds a dynamic URL used as the "SRC" parameter in the SCRIPT statement. On browsers I'm testing with(FF, IE, Chrome) there's no problem running the code. However, there are some people in the office who get an FF or IE error (same versions as mine) on the URL as the SRC parameter. The error, in the FF Error Console, is this: Quote: illegal character http://www.google-analytics.com/ga.js ? ? ? ? --> question marks appear in console I can't figure it out since I can't create this error on any of my browsers. Could this be related to something like browser security settings or add-ons? Hi guys! My first post here! I was encountering a rather confusing error using the webinterface of the DVBViewer Recording Service. Unfortunately the author of this software passed away more than a year ago, so nobody at the forum have the skills to solve this bug. The webinterface has a timeline view of a TV EPG. There are two buttons that navigates back and forth in EPG time. The upcoming DST change on sunday 26th October has revealed a bug. There is no way to navigate passed sunday with the button. Pressing repatedly on the button trying to get mondays EPG. sundays EPG reloads after each button press. Its stuck so to say. I therefor wonder if anyone in here would feel like helping out? The current Recording Service developer pinpointed the error here in the timeline.js: Code: Line 42: var ONE_DAY = 24*60*60*1000; Line 686: /** * increments or decrements the date in the datepicker by the given amount */ function moveDate(offset) { var currDate = datefield.datepicker("getDate"); currDate.setTime(currDate.getTime() + offset * ONE_DAY); var now = new Date().getTime(); if (currDate.getTime() + 2*ONE_DAY < now || currDate.getTime() - 31*ONE_DAY > now) { return; } datefield.datepicker("setDate", currDate); guiactionform.submit(); } Line 1298: $('#nextday').click(function() { moveDate(+1); }); Unfortunately the timeline.js is too large to post in code box so i try to append it as a file: timeline.zip Best regards majstang SOLUTION: I accidentally used <\ul> instead of </ul> ... IE actually threw a proper error, since \u escapes a unicode string (in hex) --- I have the following section of javascript: Code: jQuery.each($('.prodContent'), function(i, val) { if(!($(this).is(":has(ul.tabs)"))) { jQuery.each($(this).children('.panes:has(.tabdiv)'), function(i, val) { var theList = "<ul class='tabs'>\n"; jQuery.each($(this).children('.tabdiv'), function(i, val) { var theName = $(this).children('.noshow:first').text(); theList += " <li><a href='#'>"+theName+"</a></li>\n"; }); theList += "<\ul>\n"; $(this).before(theList); }); } In firefox and chrome, it takes a series of divs, containing headers, and adds a list of those headers before the series... so this: Code: <div> <h2>header1</h2> content </div> <div> <h2>header2</h2> content </div> becomes: Code: <ul> <li><a href="#">header1</a></li> <li><a href="#">header2</a></li> <div> <h2>header1</h2> content </div> <div> <h2>header2</h2> content </div> however, in IE, the error console claims an error on line 7, at the +=, saying that it expected a hexidecimal value... any ideas? p.s. you can see the issue live here http://bit.ly/oYrNAa (sorry bout the url shortener, but i don't want this topic to show up in a search for the site) Why is there a syntax error in this and how do i fix? Code: $(document).ready(function() { $("#gogo").click(function() { $("#replace").html(" <tr> <td width='800' height='186' align='left' valign='top' class='end'> <h1><a href='register.php'><br /> </a></h1> <h1>About Chef Match</h1> <p class='txt' id='more'>Chef Match is a revolutionary site which creates the link between staff and tempory work.
