Hello, in the channel of a user in clipbucket, down page there are the tabs "Activity", "Infos", "Videos", "Groups" and "Photos"...
When I click in Videos, Groups and Photos tabs clipbucket doesn't load and show them, could you help me solve this? the only problem sometimes I get in javascript error consol is "The object doesn't support the method appendTo". I marked red the line with the problem in the code below here. you can see the problem in this page, logging in with "arvixe" as username and password removed URL (NSFW) Thank you Code: function channelObjects(object, div, type, user, assign) { var obj = $(object), curRel = obj.attr('rel'), DIV = $(div), oldRel = obj.parents('ul').find('a.selected').attr('rel'); if(curRel) { if($("#"+curRel).css('display') == 'block') return false; else { obj.parents('ul').find('a.selected').removeClass('selected'); obj.addClass('selected'); $("#"+oldRel).hide(); $("#"+curRel).show(); } } else { var newRel = type+"DIV"; obj.attr('rel',newRel); $.ajax({ url : page, type : "POST", dataType : "json", data : ({ mode : "channelObjects", content : type, user : user, assign : assign}), beforeSend : function() { obj.append(loading_img) }, success : function(data) { obj.find('img').remove(); obj.parents('ul').find('a.selected').removeClass('selected'); obj.addClass('selected'); $("#"+oldRel).hide(); $("<div></div>").attr('id',newRel).addClass($("#"+oldRel).attr('class')).html(data.html).appendTo(DIV); } }) } Similar TutorialsHello, in clipbucket when I try to upload a big file like 50 Mb at the end uploadify fails to upload and says HTTP error, how can I get more error details to solve this? I have no problem with small files upload, and php settings "max_execution_time, max_post_size, max_upload_size" etc are correctly setted... Thank you! I got an index.php Code: <html> <form action="bacakomik.php" method='post'> <select name="kodekomik"> <option value='../komik1/|23'>Judul Komik1</option> <option value="../komik2/|20">Judul Komik2</option> <option value="../komik3/|10">Juduk Komik3</option> <option value="../komik4/|20">Judul Komik4</option> </select> <input type="submit" /> </form> <?php echo ('<select>'); echo ('<option value= "'.$i.'">'.'Page '.$i.'</option>'); echo ('</select>'); ?> </html> As you can see, each of the option brings specific value "../komik1/|23" komik1 is a directory | is a delimiter 23 is the pages in one chapter and can be considered also as how many images are there on a specific directory This is my bacakomik.php Code: <?php $dirkomik = $_POST['kodekomik']; $exploded = explode("|", $dirkomik); echo ($exploded[0]); //picture directory echo ("<br>"); echo ($exploded[1]); //total page in the comic $pagecount = (int)$exploded[1]; //Take last posted value, process it right away echo ('<FORM name="guideform"> '); echo ('<select name="guidelinks">'); $i=1; do { echo ('<option value= "'.$i.'">'.'Page '.$i.'</option>'); $i= $i+1; }while($i <= $pagecount); //Printing option and select echo ("</select>"); ?> <input type="button" name="go" value="Go!" onClick="document.getElementById('im').src=document.guideform.guidelinks.options[document.guideform.guidelinks.selectedIndex].value+'.png';"> </FORM> <img src="img0.jpg" id="im"> With the current code on bacakomik.php, I only can change the img src of id "im" in the same directory only. What I want is that the Javascript could "add" the "$exploded[0]" variable so that the picture can be loaded from different directory. Anyone can do this? I believe that the fix should be somewhere on input tag inside OnClick, or do you know where? Anyway, I found this on the net http://p2p.wrox.com/php-faqs/11606-q...avascript.html Please help me to those who can... I'm having a problem with a javascript code I put together. For all of the PHP, CSS, HTML that I know, well it doesn't carry over to JavaScript, so my attempt at trying this is probably a very bad attempt. Anyways, what I'm trying to accomplish with this code is to get the height of one table and set the padding-bottom to another table, to keep page dimensions even. Code: <script type="text/javascript"> var divArray = document.getElementById('tablecontent').offsetheight; //Subtracting 442 because that's the height of the table. I'm just trying to add onto the bottom. var subtraction = divarray - 442; var tablesidebar = document.getElementById('tablesidebar'); tablesidebar.style.paddingbottom = subtraction + 'px'; </script> Any help to get this working is well appreciated. I have this function: Code: function show_video1(){ document.getElementById('video1').style.display="block"; document.getElementById('video2').style.display="none"; document.getElementById('video3').style.display="none"; } function show_video2(){ document.getElementById('video1').style.display="none"; document.getElementById('video2').style.display="block"; document.getElementById('video3').style.display="none"; } function show_video3(){ document.getElementById('video1').style.display="none"; document.getElementById('video2').style.display="none"; document.getElementById('video3').style.display="block"; } etc... what it does is basically switch videos, when a link is click. The problem in IE is that the video continues to play when switched... meaning that videos play 'over the top of each other'. Can anyone advise on this, as I say seems to be fine in Firefox! Many thanks, Greens85 Hi and hope someone can help. I'm trying to put together some code within a form that tests whether someone has supplied an email address or a telephone number when the Submit button is pressed. Neither of these fields are require mandatory input. Trouble is my current code always supplies a true result even if no data is put in these fields i.e. the 1st IF statement returns true. Hi there, I only just learning JavaScript and have a question about a bit of script I am playing with. I am basically trying to access XML elements (RSS feed) through a bit of PHP. Everything is working fine when trying to access the <title> and <link>, but when I get to <description> everything breaks down... If I comment out this line var theDescription = descriptions[j].childNodes[0].nodeValue; and <p>' + theDescription + '</p>' then the script works fine and displays the titles and the links of the feed, but with those lines in it all goes to pot. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong here? (By the way, don't worry about my method of getting the feed in, using GET etc. This script is part of an AJAX tutorial and I am just messing with it, trying to make it display the title, link, and description from the rss feed) Here is my html/JavaScript: Code: <html><head><title>AJAX XML Example</title> </head><body> <h2>Loading XML content into a DIV</h2> <div id='info'>This sentence will be replaced</div> <script> nocache = "&nocache=" + Math.random() * 1000000 url = "rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/topstories" request = new ajaxRequest() request.open("GET", "xmlget.php?url=" + url + nocache, true) out = ""; request.onreadystatechange = function() { if (this.readyState == 4) { if (this.status == 200) { if (this.responseXML != null) { titles = this.responseXML.getElementsByTagName('title') links = this.responseXML.getElementsByTagName('link') descriptions = this.responseXML.getElementsByTagName('description'); for (j = 0 ; j < titles.length ; ++j) { var theTitle = titles[j].childNodes[0].nodeValue; var theLink = links[j].childNodes[0].nodeValue; var theDescription = descriptions[j].childNodes[0].nodeValue; out += '<p><strong>' + theTitle + '</strong><br /><a href="' + theLink + '">' + theLink + '</a></p><p>' + theDescription + '</p>' ; } document.getElementById('info').innerHTML = out } else alert("Ajax error: No data received") } else alert( "Ajax error: " + this.statusText) } } request.send(null) function ajaxRequest() { try { var request = new XMLHttpRequest() } catch(e1) { try { request = new ActiveXObject("Msxml2.XMLHTTP") } catch(e2) { try { request = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP") } catch(e3) { request = false } } } return request } </script></body></html> Here is the PHP: Code: <?php // xmlget.php if (isset($_GET['url'])) { header('Content-Type: text/xml'); echo file_get_contents("http://".sanitizeString($_GET['url'])); } function sanitizeString($var) { $var = strip_tags($var); $var = htmlentities($var); return stripslashes($var); } ?> Problem with onchange Javascript Hi, I have a variable declarared called minute which chanches every 3 minutes. if the variable output changes i want to call a href not using onclick but my trigger the change of my varable "minute" in detail <div> <input type="text" size="11" id="loadvideoid" value="u1zgFlCw8Aw" /> <a href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="loadNewVideo(document.getElementById('loadvideoid').value, document.getElementById('startseconds').value)"><- Load video</a> | Start at: <input type="text" size="4" id="startseconds" value="0" /> </div> The part of the script above is coming from http://code.google.com/intl/nl/apis/...example_1.html Have sombody a hint or a script for me how to do this PS i am a newbee, and want to learn !!! Please help me. Thanks. Hi all, First of all thanks for everyone who responds to me. I appreciate it. Here is my problem. I have a HTML form containing two text box controls in it and a submit button. When a user enters information in those two textboxes and click on submit, the information is sent to a function in Javascript. In the javascript, the information from those textboxes is stored in a javascript variable. The problem is as follows: When I am inputting string text in the html text boxes and in the javascript when I am trying to print those values, it is giving me out an error saying NaN. However when i input integer values in the text boxes it is printing those numbers. Is there a conversion that I have to do for the string to be printed. I am new to Javascript and need your help. This is a basic code of Javascript. Below is the code that I have. Thanks in advance for your help. <html> <script type = "text/javascript"> function square(form) { var test = form.value1.value; window.alert(+test); var point = document.test.value1.value; pointcon = point.toString(); window.alert("nice"); window.alert(+pointcon); var point2 = eval(document.test.value2.value); var point3 = point + point2; alert(point3); } </script> <head> <body> <form name = "test"> First name: <input type="text" name = "value1" value1 = ""/><br /> Last name: <input type="text" name = "value2" value2 = ""/> <input type = "button" value = "Submit" onClick="square(this.form)"/> </form> </body> </html> Hi Only a very simple beginner (thicko) so please don't laugh :-) I have a very basic allwebco website and in the root I have menu.js which puts a small menu on the top right of every webpage that calls it. The index.html page in the root calls this menu.js and also another page in a folder from the root calls it (I prefix menu.js in this page with '../' so as to step back to the root). Also on this sub-page I call another page which is in the same folder. This also calls up 'menu.js' and again I prefix it '../' in order to access it from the root, which is the preceding folder. However, on this second page, it does not display the menu. I have tried everything by prefixing it with '/', './', '../' and just leaving it as 'menu.js' but it will not find it. I suppose it is because it is a 'recursive' situation. ie keeps calling itself over and over? Can anyone help please? Thanks. Barry |
