JavaScript - Html5 Video - Start Buffering On Page Load

I have created a webpage using wordpress for a customer, he wants an embedded video to be played every time a visitor comes to the websites. i did it in the beginning with you tube and it was easy but he is hosting his videos in a lame company and no matter what i try, i am not able to make the video play on load, guys can you please help me with this. here is an example of embed code from that website

Is there a way to get the image(s) to load into the table after the page has loaded instead of the way I have it now?

I have 4 tabs, but I would like the imgs in tabs 2,3,4 to load after page load.

I have a rather complicated issue I need to discuss. Due to the nature of what I specialize in it's pretty difficult to discuss with anyone my thoughts.

My work involves making GUI's for IPTV set-top-boxes. I both design and implement the user interfaces, which involves doing heavy JavaScript programming (actually it involves creating a framework).

How it works in a nutshell is; a browser runs on the set-top-box. When a user presses buttons on the remote controls the browser receives those events as e.g. "UP", "DOWN", "OK", "PROGRAM_UP", "PROGRAM_DOWN", etc. events. They need to be handled by a custom javascript code.

But here's where the problems begin. Ordinary web interfaces can depend on the mouse (or finger on touchscreens) for context, the user can press any button anywhere on the interface without a hassle.

In TV interfaces you don't have that touchscreen ability, you have to manage some sorts of state/context of what the user is doing and where the user has it's "selection", and decide what to do next if he presses any other buttons, like "OK". The user can be zapping channels with PROGRAM_UP and PROGRAM_DOWN remote control buttons, or the user can be browsing movies by selecting poster with arrow keys and rent with OK. I have to manage this context in JavaScript, handle the input events and modify model/view accordingly.

This feels awkward, or wrong.

So, that's why I am here. What would you do, if you were given a set-top-box, with Opera/HTML5 support, and the only input is a stateless remote-control.

This script displays a link to a registration/login form that loads in a light box for Joomla.
I've been goin nuts trying to figure out how to get this to load on page load with a delay.
Anyone know how to get this done?

We want to reload the advertising banners on the page when an user browses trough the pictures in our AJAX-Gallery, but the scripts from our advertising partners uses document.write, so we can't call the addBanner() function from inside the gallery-script.

About mid-body I have: <span id="countdown1">2010-07-20 00:00:00 GMT+00:00</span> which allows for the setting of a target date to countdown to.

When the page first loads it shows the above long format target time, until the js/meta tags kick in to modify it to just show the actual countdown as 00:00:00.

I have attached countdownpro.js to this post. I tried shifting the function CD_Init() to the top of the script, and also appended it inline with the .html. I tried setting the big external script to "defer", but neither arrangement worked. I also tried placing the src file right at the top.

what it does is that it hide and show a panel by slidint it to the left.

But my client want that on page load the panel opens automatically for about 2-3 seconds just to let users know that its here. So ive written this :

I would like multiple videos one one page. I tried to give each one an individual id but failed miserably. Also how on earth do I assign a image to each player. My example works with one player only and falls back to HTML5 video with no problems . If I decided on five videos per page, how do I apply an id to each one as well as a different image per player. I don't know if this can be done in Javascript, or requires any other language but i was wondering if this would be possible.

The Javascirpt is the Facebook Share button that basically allows users that have Facebook to share the page there currently on in their Facebook status by pressing the button, but if there not logged in it shows the login page, not a problem just continue the script.

I'm running a sales video and I do not want the download button to appear until the end.

Bit of a nightmare scenario but, the services page isn't loading and from what I can tell, IE 6,7 & 8 are throwing up the same error. It says:

I am trying to figure out, how to play a video file saved on the server, displayed as a hyperlink from the file manager created in JavaScript? The outcome should be following: When a file name (video.avi) clicked in JavaScript file manager, the server will open a page with the embed Windows Media Player (player.php) and it will start playing the clicked video file?
