Hi guys,
I am new to java, I am having trouble on outputting the num2 on the screen. I could not see any errors indicated the problem on the program(Eclipse). However, the program just miss scan the num2. I was trying to sort the number and output them from smallest to largest.

Need help - sorry for the novice-ness of this.
Have a computed field ("Subtotal"). With that number, need to set up rule such that if Subtotal is a certain number, a certain number will print in the new field (lets call it "First").
Here's what I have so far...

Having Trouble Directing Output From A Form

Hey guys, I am pretty new at javascript but am trying to learn.

Here is a problem I have encountered.

I have made a form with various input fields and a set of radio buttons which change the parameters of the form.
One of the radio button sets is "Search by X" and "Search by Y"

I want the action parameter for the form to change depending on whethere X or Y is selected

The way I attempted to do the above(and I am not claiming this to be most efficient, just what comes to mind at the moment) is to create three functions and two global variables.

The logic seems like it would work to me, but when I try it out the results that are expected to come depending on the parameters X or Y are not displayed, in fact nothing is displayed but a msg saying that there is no such link. So I am assuming that means that the function is not properly assigning the corresponding links to the action= field in the form.

So what it does is this: if everything's OK, it sends an email with "Hey!" as the subject, "[name]" as the sender, "Hello, [message]. Regards, [name], [location]" as the body, and a popup saying the message was delivered appears. If something fails, it outputs the error in a new address, so the user will have to go back to the form and correct the error.

What I actually want to happen is this: if everything's OK, a <p> which was hidden beneath the form appears saying the message was delivered, or, alternatively, make the submit button gray out and confirm the message was delivered. I found a script to make this happen, but with "Please wait...", so the user can't resubmit the form.

If there's an error, I'd like another <p> which was hidden to appear with the specific error, so there'd be many <p>'s hidden with different IDs. If possible, I'd also like to change the CSS style of the input field, specifically changing the border color to red, so it'd be a change in class for the particular field.

So in essence, I want the errors and the success messages to output in the same page as the form (without refresh), and a change of class in the input fields that have an error. It'd be great if the submit button could be disabled until all fields are filled correctly, but I don't know if this is possible.

Can someone help me I am trying to get these two values, firstname and lastname to both go into the same output box on a form. I want them

Why This Random Number Changes Twice While Posting Form?

Hello,
There isa demo below.
I have a form and select menus. I am posting it ajax post method and loading the same page with load method as you see in codes. There is a random number genarator. I want to change this random number once a click submit. If i do not load the same page this number does not change. Therefore I use both post and load methods like in demo. However when i do like this there is a problem which is random number have been generated twice somtimes. If you click submit button successively you will see that the number on left top corner sometimes changes twice a click. Why it is so and how can i correct it.

This is what I have so far, it is a template I copied from my working E-mail validation. I'm assuming I have to make it so it's just an array of numbers but I really don't know Java too well.

Essentially I just want numbers only to be accepted into the phone field.

I have a function below where every time a question is submitted, it will add a new row in the table with a textbox which allows numbers entry only. My question is that I don't know how to code these features in this function:

1: I want the text box to be between 0 and 100, so if text box contains a number which is above 100, it will automatically change the number to the maximum number which is 100.

I am trying to figure out how to make a random number I can plug into a script count down from that number at certain times of the day until it reaches 0. I would like it to reset itself at midnight every day. I'm trying to make it work with a script I found on here that resets itself at midnight every day. So instead of it counting down too fast, it would count down to the next number after a randomly generated number of minutes until it reaches 0. But it wouldn't necessarily have to end at 0 at midnight. It could go from 845 to 323 at the end of the day at a slower pace. Is that possible?

I am using javascript and I have a radio button that the user selects and I have a function to see which button was selected, but i'm trying to use the return of that if statement in another statement.
Basically another part of the function is dependent on what the user selects in the radio button.

I color coded in red the returns i'm trying to reference and where they need to be. Is this possible, and if so how can I do it? I haven't been able to find anything on the internet so far. Any help is greatly appreciated!
