JavaScript - Passing Radio Button Values

Hey javascript newbie,

Im trying to figure out how to add different radio if its selected or not

example:

Radio_Button1 value="5": Selected
Radio_Button2 value="15": Not Selected
Radio_Button3 value="25": Selected
Radio_Button4 value="35": Selected

var addingitup = ??? and im lost????

I am using ASP validators and I have a contact form. I want to be able to have a phone and email radio button group. The email textbox also has a RegularExpressionValidator

If the phone item is selected then I want the validation to be enabled on the phone text box making it mandatory while the email text box isn't, and if they choose the email as the contact it will be reversed.

I want to be able to do this without having to do a postback.

I already have the logic on the code behind and the enquiry object.

also I am fairly new to javascript so I have been using mostly jQuery as easier to implement

Hello, i'm working on a 3 page survey. When hitting next, previous, or submit it passes the values of all the questions to the next page. I've got the whole thing working correcting except for one thing: When the box is "not" checked it passes no value. I'm needing it to have a value of "1" when checked and a value of "0" when not checked, and currently when its not checked and i pass the info it leaves it blank.

The first case that i showed in my code is a radio button, and it passes correctly, i just wanted to show the "format" i was using in a working sense. The 2nd case is an example of the check boxes.

I was wondering if i can pass my php variables through javascript function. I have a page where a user can select (via check boxes) several categories. Each category is related to a set of possible options (radio buttons) that have numeric values. When one of the options (radio button) is selected, the amount will appear in a text box (input type="text"). The numeric value in the text box will update depending on what category options are selected. However, when the checkbox is deselected, the radio boxes in the <div> are not displayed and I need to remove (reset) the radio button values from the value seen in the text box.

Everything works except for my uncheckRadio function - not sure if I am identifying the elements correctly, or if I need a totally new approach. My thinking is that the function must be accessed by the checkbox onClick call. Previously I had tried calling uncheckRadio from the notice function before I recognized is was not an appropriate location. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I am trying to pass a video id value from one javascript page to another, extract the video id, append it to a utube url and then pass it to a html page for immediate display. I have managed to extract the video id value and append it to the url but cannot get it into the html section of the code. My code is posted below

I don't exactly know how to word my issue.

Basically, I need it so that if a user selects 'option1' in the group 'group1' when they go to 'group2' is only gives them a certain selection to choose from. If they choose 'option2' in 'group1' they will get a different set to choose from.

My main dilemma is it must do this without them having to submit.

All:

I need some help with a radio button code. It seems simple but I am really new at JavaScript so I need help. I have created a JavaScript code that has three radio buttons (High, Medium, and Low). When you click on high two text boxes appear so that an email address can be added.

What I need help with is making the text boxes disappear if someone accidentally click high and then went back to low or medium. Currently the High button stays clicked and the text boxes still show. Any help would be great.

I tried implementing a cleaner approach to a web form I had created, but it doesn't seem to be passing the values to the server properly. What gives?

This form on the left and right work perfectly, but they have two ridiculously long drop down lists, which would be the "ProgramOfInterest" fields (please use the following values preselected in this form)

On this form, I tried creating a triple drop down list setup to clean up the older, long lists in this example, but it doesn't pass the values properly. It also seems to not duplicate the new drop down triple drop lists properly as in the original form. You can change the values in the drop downs in the forms to see what I mean. Also just pick Bachelor's > B_Business > Business Administration in the triple drop downs for an example since I don't know how to preselect those values.
