I have the audio files in the same directory as the html page. I have tried to adapt some code to do this, but have not had success. Any help would be much appreciated! Here is what I have so far: Code: <body> <button id="button" onclick=" " return false">Play</button> </body> <script type="text/javascript"> var currentDay = (new Date()).getDate(); document.getElementById('button').onclick = "proverbs" + currentDay + ".mp4" ; </script> hi, I am working on adding a datepicker on each row of the table grid using javascript . I've read the Fusion table's Developer Guider. But still feel confused. Can anyone tell me the specific solution?? Or give me a sample code?? Thanks very much!!!!!! Here is an extract of my coding Code: function displayTitle(name) { return name + " <a href='#' ><img src='direction.png' alt='Get driving directions'/></a>"; I have a map inserted into my aspx page. When I click on one icon, the name and the direction.png picture will appear as a pop up box within the map I want to make the direction.png picture into a link, whereby when I click on it, a pop up box will appear. How? My issue is that I have a javascript function applied on page load via an addLoadEvent function call in the head to every row (dynamic number of records retrieved) on a table. On every row of the table I also have an element (image or button) that performs a different function that is assigned on the element itself. Unfortunately, when I click the element it also performs the function that was applied to the row in the page load. Is there any way to not call this function on element click? I know usually you include code, but due to the nature of the work I am limited in that respect. Basically its: Code: <script type="text/javascript"> addLoadEvent(function() { function1(1); }) //function1 makes the table rows do something appearance wise. </script> <tr> <td></td> <td></td> <td> <img src="pics/delete.png" alt="Delete" onclick="function2();"> </td> </tr> I apologize if my post doesn't conform to the general guidelines of proper posting on this board. I'm new on this site. I need some help making a button function do what I want it to do. I have a index page that shows all my projects in a table with tabs you can click on that shows certain parts of all projects (ie tab for finance, project title). For now, every single project is shown on the website when you bring up the index page. Also the top part of the page, where I have the issue, there is a drop down list of all the projects with a "GO" button next to it. I want a user to be able to scroll down that list and click the button and the page would only show that particular project, ie choosing the tabs to go back and forth dealing with the one project only. The tabs are each its own .php file with the exact coding in all of them. Here is what I have on my index page that I need help on in order to make this button work. Any help will be appreciated. My main issue is this coding Code: <input type="button" value="GO" name="proj_list" /> But here is the whole index page Code: <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" /> <title>2009 Events</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../css/dddropdownpanel.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../css/sortable.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../css/datepicker.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../css/main.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../css/chromestyle.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../css/ajaxtabs.css" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="../includes/datepicker.js"></script> <script language="javascript" src="../includes/tablesort.js"></script> <script language="javascript" src="../includes/tableActions.js"></script> <script language="javascript" src="../includes/chrome.js"></script> <script language="javascript" src="../includes/ajaxtabs.js"></script> </head> <body> <div id="container"> <div id="header"> <?php include("../header.php"); ?> </div> <div id="navbar2"> <?php include("../menu.php"); ?> </div> <div id="content"> <div id="breadcrumb"> <script language="javascript" src="../includes/breadcrumbs.js"></script> </div> <?php // If the user wants to add a project if (isset($addproject)): else: $dbcnx = @mysql_connect("xxxxx", "xxxxxx", "xxxxxxxx"); if (!$dbcnx) { echo( "<P>Unable to connect to the xxxxxxxxx" . The drop down list is a selection that you choose from of each of the 15 unique IDs. Once you choose one then click the button you should then only see that specific information about that particular id. The table is simple. Code: <table id="users_table" style="border:1px solid #000;border-collapse: collapse;" border='1'> <tr class="dataRow"> <td>11</td> <td>12</td> <td>13</td> </tr> <tr class="dataRow"> <td>21</td> <td>22</td> <td>23</td> </tr> <tr id="row3" class="dataRow"> <td>31</td> <td>32</td> <td>33</td> </tr> <tr class="dataRow"> <td>41</td> <td>42</td> <td>43</td> </tr> </table> There is a button that calls a function called fadeout(). I cannot find a way to make the table fade out with just that one function. Is that even possible? If not, what other functions are necessary to make this happen? Hi, I need a button that not only resets what is typed in the textarea but also hides all shown tables... Here's how my current set up is... ---------text area------ with a reset button table1 title (when clicked, shows a table under it) table2 title (when clicked, shows a table under it) table3 title (when clicked, shows a table under it) the tables under the main tables have buttons that when clicked on inserts texts in the textarea. Any help would be much much appreciated! I have a "button" that calls formA, which in turns calls formB, all done through javascript. As a button: Code: <input type="button" value="Preview" onClick="popupform();"> works perfectly. Of course the user doesn't want some ugly standard button. They want this beautiful image to show instead (personally, I think the .gif they made looks like barf, but that's besides the point...sorry). When I substitute Code: <input type="image" src="/preview/preview_button.gif" name-"preview" alt="Preview Your Item" border="0" onClick="popupform();"> everything works as it should, except the original form, the one that has the button/image on it, becomes a 404 Object not found. The popupform() sets a bunch of cookies, and calls formB. FormB is a .php which reads the cookies and does some other stuff. Not that it should matter, but I am running everything locally in Vista using the XAMPP Apache Friends Edition and going through localhost (because formB is a .php) Thanks in advance. Hello, first of all: sorry for my english, not native language. so i have: <body> <img src="hello.png" /> </body I want a "next button", when i press to skip at "hello2.png". I want to be very simple and small if that's possible, what i founded on google it's too hard for me to edit. Thanks u very much! Hope this is right section. Hey i have a map (belgium) with markers on it, when i press a marker an alert has to appear with some text but it just doesnt appear I dont want to use javascript in my html this is what i got atm, html: Code: <div class="mapdiv"> <img class="map" src="images/Map.gif"/> <img type="image" id="markerJoly" src="images/dot.png"/> <img type="image" id="markerDielis" src="images/dot.png"/> <img type="image" id="markerRietje" src="images/dot.png"/> <img type="image" id="markerClissen" src="images/dot.png"/> </div> javascript: Code: addEventListener("load", Map, false); function Map(event) { var knop1 = document.getElementById("markerJoly"); if (knop1.onclick){ AlertBox1(); } function AlertBox1() { alert("1.") } function AlertBox2() { alert("2.") } function AlertBox3() { alert("3") } function AlertBox4() { alert("4") } } Alert doesnt show up, pls help Thanks in advance 1) I have a group of radio buttons and have an image for each button. is there anyway to get that image to go with the value of the radio button to the next page when the radio button is pressed. I already have a script to place the value of the radio button into a text box but i cant seem to get the image to follow. 2) also is the a script to have 3 text boxes in a form post in a second form hidden and reappear in a third form before submit I am trying to make a button that would change the background image whenever somebody clicks it. I have tried something along the lines of this: Quote: <input type="button" value="Pattern1" onClick="background-image: url(background.png);background-repeat: no-repeat;"> and, Quote: <input type="button" value="Pattern2" onClick="background: url(background.png);background-repeat: no-repeat;"> as you can see, I am a beginner at coding in general so any help is appreciated. My assumption to why it doesn't work is that I am combining javascript with CSS, but I am most likely wrong. hi, on my website http://zend.warrencreative.com/gemini-group/index.html I am using thickbox, if you click on Subscribe to newsletter at the top it opens up a box, I need to change type="button" to type="image" but this doesn't work?! is there any other way?
