JavaScript - Check Date Field
Hi to all, I need some help checking a date field with javascript, I need to veryfy that the date introduced is not previous from today so when the submit button is clicked an alert comes up: "Date can't be previous from today" the date is compared with a PHP variable with de date from server "$todays_date" in 31/12/2011 format.

I'm basically trying to say, if the user selected today (15/05/2012) in the field 428 it would fill the field 429 with "Tuesday". Again, if the user selected 18/05/2012 in the field 428 then it would automatically fill field 429 with "Friday". It's being done to work in conjunction with a wordpress plugin called Formidable Pro hence the item_meta[428] etc. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. The problem I'm having is that if the hidden field doesn't display (which based on conditional logic, sometimes happens), a JS error is thrown on the page. What is the best way to carry out this check effectively without throwing an error if the field does not exist? Thanks in advance. What I'm trying to do is check if a field (number) is blank or not. If it is filled perform validation on the remaining fields. If not filled let the user submit.The JavaScript is currently being testing in SharePoint 2007. Below is a sample of my initial code. Hello all. I need to use javascript to validate 6 text inputs to make sure data is entered and they are not empty. However, there is a checkbox above this and if the checkbox is checked I need these areas to NOT validate as they become optional at that point. The above is if the box is checked to validate the field. I want it to do the opposite. How would you do the above with the If statement referring if the check box is NOT checked? And how could I add more fields to check then just one? thank you in advance! I have a date of birth drop down for 'Day', 'Month' and a text field for Year. How can I get the select value of the drop down and year text field into a single text field, separated by '-'? The single text field would need to update if someone changed the drop down / year selections. Hope someone can help - I'm stumped! I am having some trouble with my code in that I am trying to take the value from the date of birth field and check to see if over 18 years old. Problem I'm having is how do i do a check to see if those checkboxes are checked in the javascript with those name arrays? How do i separate them? If one of them exists, but the other does not, I want the empty field to be 14 days before (or after) the other. For example: if the bill date is 7/27/2010 and the due date was not captured, I want to set the due date as 8/10/2010 (14 days after the bill date). If the due date was captured as 8/10/2010, but the due date is blank, I want to assign the bill date as 7/27/2010 (14 days before the due date). if both dates have values, do nothing. Thanks. Hi Experts, I have designed an online registration system for a non profit in ASP/SQL. After the members register for classes they are automatically redirected to an invoice page with class fees. At the bottom of the page I have a Total Fees field of all the classes. The member is supposed to pay this amount to our organization. Question: We decided to do an online payment this year and would like to calculate a 2% additional amount on the Total Fees. This amount is paid to the Payment Merchant site. We cannot afford to lose the 2% since we are a non profit. Would really appreciate if someone can tell me how to 1) Add a new field under the Total field 2) And calculate the 2% additional fees and do a Grand Total. Thanks in advance.
