JavaScript - Form Cookie To Remember The Information

Hello everyone,

I've got a problem while trying to fetch some informations from multiple forms in the same page.
What I'm trying to do with this code is fetching informations from the multiple forms on my page and checking if the information is the information I need.
If so, I take this information and add it into a javascript generated form that I submit once every form in the page have been taken care of.

It's the only way I found to 'submit' multiple forms at the same time.

Everything was fine until I decided to give the user the option to add more forms on the page by clicking on a button (the form is then generated by javascript and appended on the page).

There seems to be a problem when checking these particular forms, the script doesn't seem to recognize the value of the radio button (wich is add_question_faq) and never ever enters in this case. Code:

I have a Cisco ASA that I use as a proxy server as such. I have a internal site that it will not pass credentials to so I was looking for a way to do that. Not being a site developer the only way I can come up with is to maybe pass it by using a cookie to store the password and ID. Below is the code I am trying to use. I can create the cookie with the code below but it will not change the PATH or the Domain for some reason. Also I do not think it is reading from the cookie not sure why. Basically I need it to set the cookie with the user info and then grab the info from the cookie to auto log the user in to the internal site.

I am creating a website for someone and can get information from one form to check it so it can then change the data in another form.

The result I want is to take the value from my form that has a radio buttons and check to see if it equal none or not. Then using that information change the value in a different form.

Hello. My goal is for the user's input on their first visit to redirect their landing page in the future. I am a novice and any help is very much appreciated.

The form's drop down menu includes three cities (Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver). When the user presses "submit form", the script should create a cookie to store the user's city selection. Next time the user visits the site, they should be redirected to their city's site, ie. "/vancouver.html"

Right now, the code is returning an error from the onload("redirect();") function. The error indicates I am trying to redirect to "/[object HTMLSelectElement].html", but I am not sure if the trouble is in reading or writing the cookie. Hi everyone, I am using a jQuery cookie script to set the cookie of some elements on my website. One of the problems is that I need the cookie to not expire after one day, I need it to expire after a while (I'm going to start off with a year).

I would like to implement a cookie feature on my site that when a user logs in a cookie is stored for him and the next time he comes back, he doesn't have to sign in. I have researched hotscripts and javascripts but the ones I have found have to do with the "remember me" and thats not quite what I want. I tried to manipulate it but with no luck. Any help with either posting code or an article would be greatly appreciated!

Then I click on the back button, in the left upper corner of IE window, so I see the previous webpage but.... the autodropdown does not remember my selection . How can we solve this?

I have no experience with JS, just general knowledge of html/css.
I had someone else write the site for me. They didn't know how to do this and pretty much just stopped talking to me...

On my site, I have a video carousel (4 video thumbnails in a row, you press the > arrow, and it shows the next 4 video thumbnails, you click 1 video thumbnail, and it shows you the video above the carousel).

The problem is, when you click on one of the thumbnails, it reloads the page, and the video carousel goes back to the beginning. So if you clicked the > arrow 3 times (ur on the 3rd set of thumbnails), then it brings you back to the 1st set.

This is pretty annoying, especially if your planning on watching each video.

My question is, is it possible to make some type of cookie or something to remember which set of thumbnails you were on in the carousel?

So that, if your on the 3rd set, and click a video, instead of resetting to the 1st set, it keeps you on the 3rd set.

If it is possible... how hard would it be to do? Is it something where I could just copy/paste a string of code, or would this be a huge project?

Hi, first off I am very green when it comes to this stuff, so it needs to be spelled out for me.

First, I was using colorbox on one page for an image gallery, and that works fine. On a different page, I have jcarousellite, which works fine as well. If only I could mix them both on the same page. I couldn't figure that out, so what I did was create a new page each time I clicked a jcarousel image. It opens up a completely different page, but I styled it in such a way that it at least "mimics" how it might look if I were using a lightbox script. So my solution works fine for now EXCEPT that once I close the new page (that mimics lightbox) the jcarousellite slides revert back to starting position.

I need the slides to stay at the last clicked position, and not go back to the beginning each time I refresh the page.

I searched online and saw some people talk about an "afterEnd" callback, but this is where my ability stops. If anyone could help me here it would be fantastic.

Ok, so if you navigate ovr to my website "http://www.mancunianmacca.co.cc" you will notice that a box pops up asking for your name. When you type it in it adds it to the page. Is there a way I can get this to remember the users input and only ask them once then remember. Like cookie or anything. If you need any extra things. Just ask.

Hi everyone I need to make a chrome extension that will be work like panel like on site "http://static.springsource.org/spring/docs/3.0.x/spring-framework-reference/html/" but in my case this panel should work on every site and be always on top of every page content. I implemented this with iform element and added div element same size as iform to the end of the body, so my panel will not hide the end of page . The problem is adding this panel to sites like gmail. in this case I cant add element to the end of page and it's hide part of content. How can I solve this problem or is there any other way to make this.
