JavaScript - Problem With Images Not Showing In Java Gallery
Posted this in the wrong forum earlier.
I'm pretty new to Java, so i may be missing something simple, but here is my problem; On this page http://keithfrenchdesigns.com/ under the work area the gallery images are showing no problem, but on the sideways scrolling page http://keithfrenchdesigns.com/sideways on page 4 it's not showing the gallery image like the div is missing(it's not), but if you click on one of the links it will pull up a blank. It also will not scroll past page 4 to page 5(or if you move the gallery area to say, page 2, it won't scroll any further either). Like the script for the gallery area is interfering with the sideways scrolling script. Please ignore the design on the site as it is just there so i can see how everything reads. Any help would be appreciated. Similar TutorialsIm coding with Mootools and JD Gallery I am running into a annoying Java Script Problem or CSS not sure. Tried to find the solution with the other threads, but without success. Here's the website: http://artsenses.co.uk I will be eternally thankful for any help! hi i would like to create gallery of 6 images that will show random images on page reload without repeating them. am not good in js so any help would be great. i found some code on web, just changed path for images and added lightbox code. it looks like this, but it shows same image few times. I want to add a automatic scrolling images box (thumbnail size) to my website, but stops when someone places their mouse on it. I have uploaded a folder to my server with all the thumb size images in it. Would it be possible to get it so it random picks pictures from the folder? I already have a scrolling images box on my website http://173.83.99.254/index.php which just places models/photographers in the box. But I need another that picks photos from a specified folder. Thanks
Does anyone know the Java script that makes the images blend from one to another, (not just switch, but blend) and so that works the same in most browsers. I tried some but they seem to do different things in different browsers... Hello, My site has an image gallery with a row of pictures at the bottom. When I load up the page it should show image 1 in the main gallery window, but instead it's showing image in position #10 (the one to the left of #1). You can see what I'm talking about here. When you load the page it's showing the White House, but it should be showing the Green House (position #1 in slider). The White House can't be seen in the slider since it's in position #10, but shows up first int the main window. Is this a javascript issue or what? All JS files can be found here Can anybody help me debug this?? I'm going nuts Thank you i've been having some trouble with showing images and i think it's a problem with the image source, i would like to know how i must alter my code to fix this thnx. i should also point out that the images are the 6 sides of a dice Code: <html> <head> <title>My Script</title> <script type = "text/javascript"> if (document.images) { image1 = new Image(10,10); image1.source = "d1.gif"; image2 = new Image(10,10); image2.source = "d2.gif"; image3 = new Image(10,10); image3.source = "d3.gif"; image4 = new Image(10,10); image4.source = "d4.gif"; image5 = new Image(10,10); image5.source = "d5.gif"; image6 = new Image(10,10); image6.source = "d6.gif"; } alert(image1); alert(image2); alert(image3); alert(image4); alert(image5); alert(image6); </script> </head> <body> </body> </html> I'm trying to show random images with a timer of 3 seconds. I'm still learning this (starting to :s) Any help will be highly appreciated. The code: Code: <script type="text/javascript"> var imagenRandom; var imagenSrc; var i; function imagenAzar(){ imagenRandom = Math.floor(Math.random()*222); imagenRandom++; imagenSrc = "imagenes/fd/"+imagenRandom+".jpg"; document.getElementById('imagenSlideShow').src=imagenSrc; } function imagenAzarLoop(){ i=0; while (i<=221) { setTimeout("imagenAzar()", 3000); i++; } } </script> </head> <body onload="imagenAzarLoop()"> <img src="imagenes/fd/1.jpg" id="imagenSlideShow" width="300" height="225" alt="Imagen" title="Imagen" /> Hi On the following URL on the iphone and Ipad the jqzoom script is showing the enlarged image on the left but works fine in IE, Chrome, Firefox etc. The script in use is jqzoom. http://tinyurl.com/bwcxf8c Any idea welcome. Thanks Roy I am trying to set up a jQuery carousel on my home page. I want it to operate by mouse - also auto scrolling, be horizontal, be circular, show one image at once. I currently have three images to show one at a time in a containing div. All three images are showing together. One is in the container, in the right place, two others are shown below it. These two should be hidden in the carousel. The carousel itself, does not work. Please can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?! I would like to keep, at least some, of my hair! Here is my code in the head; Code: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/deestyle.css" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.4.4.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jcarousellite_1.0.1.pack.js"></script> <!-- Optional --> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/mousewheel.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $(function() { $(".carousel").jCarouselLite({ mouseWheel: true, auto: 800, speed: 500, vertical: false, circular: true, visible: 1 }); }); }); </script> This is the code in the body; <div class="carousel"> <ul id="slides"> <li><img src="images/imagered.jpg" alt="" width="650" height="350" ></li> <li><img src="images/imageblue.jpg" alt="" width="650" height="350" ></li> <li><img src="images/imagegreen.jpg" alt="" width="650" height="350" ></li> </ul> </div> Here is the CSS code; .carousel { position: absolute; top: 200px; right: 0px; width: 650px; height: 350px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 1px solid #00ff00; } #slides { list-style-type:none; float: left; padding: 0; margin: 0; } Big thank you's for any help, in advance Hi, could someone please take a look at my page with a jQuery gallery that refuses to work, however, it works perfectly on my local computer. There are images(more than 50) on this page which I want to show as gallery. Each image has few details about the photograph beside it. Right now all these images and details are shown in a single page one after the other with div's and am setting these div tags using JS array. I have found several javascripts in google which can do pagination/ gallery for simple images. But my problem is these are not simple images but zoomable images. So when am using these scripts my first zoomable image is shown properly. But from next image, the details of the photo are changing but my zoomable image is not loading. I am fairly new to JS. It would be great if someone can point in right direction. I am exploring Spry Widgets to do this but wanted to know if there is any other simple or better way to do it. Thanks in Advance, Shravanthi Hi guys, I am currently stuck up on something.. check this page http://dev.andrewfopalan.com/new_slider.html Well for starters.. I am trying to mimic this effect.. http://www.vogue.com/ The slider on the very top.. A quick preview of what I did was.. I used this plugin.. easyslider().. And then edited it.. since I am still learning jQuery and javascript.. so I made changes to the controls... usually the elements for design.. all I did was that.. The first problem was how to make it center like the one on the vogue.. so it was done... Second the masking problem.. I had alot of trouble thinking how I am going to do this.. because whenever I used absolute position on masks and the controls, everything is messed up on all browser.. So my problem primarily was how to make the effect like vogue mask, so what I did was used opacity on the list... and add a class active that regains the opacity 1 on the middle part of the slider.. so that was done.. My follow up problem is whenever I am navigating through the slider.. I add the "active" class on the next item on the list.. up until there I am fine.. but when I am at almost at the end, at the 5th slider, I am not getting the active class? and after a couple of clicks on the "next".. it wont navigate through... here's the code for the next button: Code: // this gets the current location of the active slider on the list.. $("a#"+options.nextId).click(function(e){ var id= $('.active').attr('id'); //this removes the "active" class on the slider.. and then goes to the next item on the list.. and then add the class "active" to the next image slide.. $("ul li:nth-child("+(id)+")").removeClass('active').next().addClass('active'); // this is the plugin's animation to move to the next slide.. animate("next",true); Heres' the code for the animate Code: function animate(dir, clicked){ if (clickable){ clickable = false; var ot = t; switch(dir){ case "next": t = (ot>=ts) ? (options.continuous ? t+1 : ts) : t+1; break; case "prev": t = (t<=0) ? (options.continuous ? t-1 : 0) : t-1; break; case "first": t = 0; break; case "last": t = ts; break; default: t = dir; break; }; var diff = Math.abs(ot-t); var speed = diff*options.speed; if(!options.vertical) { p = (t*w*-1); $("ul",obj).animate( { marginLeft: p}, { queue:false, duration:speed, complete:adjust, } ); } else { p = (t*h*-1); $("ul",obj).animate( { marginTop: p }, { queue:false, duration:speed, complete:adjust } ); }; heres the adjust code function Code: function adjust(){ if(t>ts) t=0; if(t<0) t=ts; if(!options.vertical) { $("ul",obj).css("margin-left",(t*w*-1)); } else { $("ul",obj).css("margin-left",(t*h*-1)); } clickable = true; if(options.numeric) setCurrent(t); }; I am very still new to this jQuery thing.. but I am trying my best to learn.. Hope someone could teach me and help me on this... I'm new to java and I'm not quite sure what I am doing wrong here. I am trying to write a java program for the following question.....
