JavaScript - Javascript Problem With Validation Of Us And Canada Zip Codes
I made a post a really long time ago and can't find my original post so I am re-posting. The code has changed a little and not sure where to go from here. I am trying to validate US and Canada zipcodes based on the Country selection. So if I select Country US validate zip for US or if I select Country Canada validate zip for Canada. I really don't know javascript and this code was sent to me but it doesn't work and can't make sense of what to do. Can anyone please help? I am attaching the code.

Similar TutorialsI have tried many different scripts Regex and different javascripts but nothing seems to work. The code I will send is about the closest I have gotton but it pops up a box whether it is valid or not. I just really know nothing about javascript to even know what to change. I am new to this forum.. and I am hoping to get help with this javascript validation for my form for my assignment. trying to validate multiple fields. I have never done javascript, so with my limited understanding from Google, I put together code snippets. Problems: 1. When I run it on my server, I get the form and enter nothing into it, I just click submit. However, it goes straight to the php file and brings up my flash movie, which it shouldnt do. When nothing is entered, the js file should return the error. I thought I had everything set up correctly, but obviously not. Also I need to make it so when someone puts numbers in the first and last name or letters in the postcode it will come up error.
