What i need is that when you click on one of the smaller ones it grabs it's image src and sets the larger photo to that src. The small images are dynamic but the larger image will have a static id.

Hi, I am no very little when it comes to Javascript but I have seen a few sites using pre populated text boxes for login forms. So Username and password appears in the boxes to save space. The code below works fine onload of the site in all browsers, everything also works fine in firefox but ie the following doesn't seem to work. When a user clicks to enter their password in i.e. it doesn't change the form to password characters so input plain text. Also when you click out of either box it doesn't seem to re-populate the boxes with my Username or Password text. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I thought that it was that during the loading of the page an element hadn't been loaded yet, but a delay doesn't work either. If I press 'ok' on the alert box too quick it doesn't work either. In terms of HTML this script is run whenever the page is loaded and is also fired when a click event is detected on one of the divs on the page. It contains an unordered list and list items. The first one has the class "show" and the ID "1", the second with just the ID "2", and so forth. (see code below). I am using jQuery to control the onclick function. the jQuery gets the current object with the "show" class. If there is no show class, it takes the first. It then puts a variable string together that represents the UL LI that is needed to be shown. I'm trying to make an animated image height changer (example: changing an image's height from 50px to 500px). I'm working on a new web site using HTML5 and want to add some Flash-like animation to my page using javascript and <canvas>. The animation would only need to "play" one time once the web page has loaded. No looping is required and no user interaction (ie mouseovers, etc) is needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. New to JS... have been trying to rework this to call additional, independent sets of colors to cycle through (so it would loop thru a set of grays, a set of primary colors, etc). I would use perhaps a different function name in the HTML to call different sets of colors. If this is more complex than I think it is, I think 3 sets would be plenty. However, when using IE7 I get an error msg like "Invalid value for property". When I use the Color propert iso the BackgroundColor property I get no error anymore but of course I don't have a background color anymore then. In what way can I specify the use of a background color under IE7 ? Or is just not possible in one way or the other. Furthermore, what more differences between JS under IE7 and IE8 do I have to take into account ? Do I also have to rewrite my div block in some way (using some attribs ?) to cope with IE7 ? If not and someone could point me in the direction of a better language, please feel free. Lets say I have a word document, somthing.docx. This document includes text of varying colors. What I am trying to figure out is if there is a way of 'detecting' what color each word is. I would like the output be a txt file, which stores the text and description of formatting, which I can easily do myself. I really just have no idea how to figure out what color the text is, programmatically. Thanks for any help, ~Dave I am using an external style sheet to set the color of my calculator to gray. However, when I open my javascript in Google Chrome, the calculator is red. I've checked the style sheet code and it's correct. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
