JavaScript - Hyperlinked Flash Video In Popup Window
This is what I have so far which works as a cross-browser download however Firefox will play the video locally inside the popup window: is this normal behaviour?

I have created a transparent flash video (virtual spokesperson) for my website. For demoing purposes, I would like to have this appear on any desired website. This is what I am trying to produce - here a virtual spokesperson appears on the codingforums.com website: http://www.innovateads.com/iads/demo...dingforums.com Have a look at other sites which enable one to type in a URL and their demo virtual spokesperson appears on the given site: http://www.vspworldwide.com, http://www.impactspokesperson.com, http://www.websitetalkingheads.com and http://www.laserstreamvideo.com. I believe they do this within an iframe to display the underlying website. Any ideas how to get this working ? I would really appreciate any feedback, code, how-tos, links... whatever. I am a complete javascript newbie. Thanks I want to run a flash video on my web site. I've been working on this for days now, and obviously missing something. The page is really BRIEF -- nothing more than <object> calls and swfobject.registerObject call. when I look at it on the server, I get a totally blank page in IE. Hi, I'm kinda hoping this is possible but haven't found any reference to it... I have a parent page that opens a popup on click that launches a sidebar navigation on the right of the screen and resizes the parent page. What I am wanting to do is create a second popup (approx 250px high) that opens below the navigation (which is only around 600px high) but I have noticed that even when you have no status bar in the popup windows, they can still end up overlapping because of additional tools or plugins that the viewer has in their browser. Is there any way to get the popups to butt up against each other instead of overlapping? More like a relative popup? Any assistance would be appreciated. :-) is there a way to stop a flash video with jQuery?? I'm using a html5 video with flash fallback.. i'm using the video on a modal pop up.. when i try to hide the video, the flash video doesn't stop... so before i hide the mask, i must stop or pause the video, then hide.. i tried various ways, but i can't seem to make them work.. hi, I have created a flash video that work on a php table (like php-nuke), this is seen well on my PC, instead with various screen the video size is not good. ON screen big the video is small, on screen small the video is big... How i can made a script that change the dimension of flash video ? any idea ? please help me.. I have a tiny flash player(with controls) in a table on it's own html page. It only plays one piece of music. But I need an unusual popup script which I can't seem to find. I want the tiny player (75 x 30) to popup on it's own without all the window (chrome?) surrounding it. I want it to be in either the top or bottom left corner. I would also like it to popup on load but turn off when I go to a particular page that I have a sound video on and then turn off completely when they leave the domain. It is a music site. Can some one please write a script like this for me and how do I get around annoying popup blockers. I guess this case applies to both popup windows opened by window.open() and by showModalWindow(). I have two buttons in popup window, "Cancel" and "Save". If the user clicks either button, there is a "process" at parent window before close() at popup being called. The problem now is, if the user click the "X" sign at top right corner of that popup window, how to trigger the "process"? Picture this: A Super Mario sprite with him standing normally, but to his right is the word "Home". Hello, well i am having this annoying issue from previous 3 months and its a very long story to tell but i will try to make it small, well i am interested in using a popup to show flash games in it, so i did then my interest went to make all games playable in full screen so i did that too and got success, but i am facing issues due to wmode, if you visit my this site link http://www.bloghuts.com/2010/11/13-days-in-hell.html and click on play game for other browsers while using google chrome browser, you will see the error there will be blocks appearing in the game, while if click on play for google chrome then this error is not there, its just because of WMODE, for google chrome button i am using wmode while for all other browsers i am not doing this. the reason for not using wmode to my other browser play button is that if i add wmode to the games then the performance of the game is highly damaged in fireforx and internet explorer, and also to some extent in other browsers including google chrome. WHAT DO I NEED FROM YOU PEOPLE? it is that i want to get rid of this wmode=opaque thing as it makes the game slow even in google chrome which is effecting game playing quality, i used window,transparent too but nothing good came out of it. Above the text field there should be a set of images for bold, italics, underline, etc; when you click on them it inserts the html code <b></b> at the cursor point. Next I want there to be a link, that when clicked will open a popup box with smileys. When you click on one of the smiley images it should insert the smiley code (example :smile: ) into the parent window text field. And would it be possible to make that work with pages of emotes? Hi I am trying to create a pop up window to view a video stream but it's not working. When I click on the image the pop up window doesn't appear. Hi I want to create a popup that is completely contained within the page (so i guess its not really a popup). I'm looking for something where if a button is clicked, a small box will come up in the current window and become the active window, while the original window is visible but not active. It's hard to explain, but its a popup that is contained in the same window. And when the user presses okay or cancel on the "popup" window. They return to where they were in the original window.
