JavaScript - Hey! I Was Wondering How I Can Make A Copy Of This Page :)

I am trying to make something for my site - andygrammernation.com that is similar to this but with a different color scheme and with the mediabase link changed to vote for Andy instead of Avril. If anyone knows how to do this and would like to walk me through it that would be amazing!!! Thank you all so much!!! Similar Tutorialshow to copy some text to the clipboard with jquery or javascript, from google. i know there is a pludgin named zeroclipboard http://code.google.com/p/zeroclipboard/ can do this with cross browers. when i tested it on my site. i set it to copy text optionally . it can't work. my test link is http://xanlz.com/copy/1.html it always copys all the values. even i uncheck some check box. may be the value doesn't be changed. but when i alter() the variable, the value is ok. how to correct it? thank you. i want it can copy the checked box value. if the box unchecked, then don't copy its value. I have a html:select tag box and I want to make it copy pastable directly from an excel sheet or notepad so as to dynamically updating its options, is it possible. Current code has html:select box separately and below this another text box is there, where i fill the numeric value, then press add button below and then it gets updated in the html:select tag box. The div sa is always present (its a sponsor logo) when hovering over a #created link or #parent site link, a div csite or psite comes up, (image representing parent site, image representing creator site) making them work is no problem however i was wondering if anyone had any ideas as how to change this so that when you are quickly moving from the created link to the parentsite the .hide and .show animation for #sa does not overlap, or does not fire otherwise they get in the way of each other... any help would be appreciated thanks in advance! Hey guys, finished my first javascript assignment and was wondering if anyone could confirm it works. I get weird syntax errors on my comp but others have said that it has worked for them, so i'm wondering if anyone else can confirm this. The syntax errors are all claiming that my functions being called in my buttons are not defined, however they clearly are, so i'm thinking it might just be something weird with my machine/browser. How do I make a swf pop up, on load, on a home page? Similar to the lightbox technique, I want an swf file to pop up on the home page when it first loads. I have a single webpage that contains information on all 50 U.S. states. There are 50 links at the top to jump down to the state you want, and at the bottom of the information for each state a Back to Top link. I'm making the Back to Top link into something more complex, and it will require three or four lines of code. So that I don't have to repeat the code 50 times, and create a burden when I need to edit it, I want to place it in a .js file and call it x. Then below the information for each state I'll simply have: Code: <script language="JavaScript">document.write(x)</script> Does calling code from a .js file 50 times slow down the page load? Which method would load faster? Or is the difference negligible? On various video sites you can click cinema mode and the page goes dark, whilst you watch the video. On my page I have a box which appears, where the user enters their name and email address. How could I make have a link saying "Copy Link" that if clicked will copy the picture url to clip board. I've seen places like w3schools use in but not as tuts though. a) Tested in FF and GC b) in IE this works, but stuff does not appear where it should. EDIT: if text nodes removed , then even in ff does not work, does not find textarea inside target node. That is, the error pops up, previously only notable at IE. HTML & CSS validation is OK. Any advice ? |
