JavaScript - Open A Html Document

Hi everybody I have a problem

I want a beautiful accordion header on my website and use pirobox that is a lightbox version.

I had this problem before but then u used a slideshow instead of this accordion header.

If I use this code: only the accordion works

I don't know where to use it. In the demo version it's in the end, but I tried that and it still didn't work.

Hi everybody I have a problem

No I have this all working but not at the same time.

Can you help me solve this problem so they both work?

I'm sure this is older code, but I need help with a GreyBox.
The php script, for a video site, that I'm using (I didn't write the script) is suppose to play the video in the box that pops up over the page, when a video thumbnail is selected. However, instead of showing the player inside the box, a file named loader_frame.html downloads (each time). This file is in the greybox folder. Here is the script:

Hi guys,

I have been working on this and cant figure it out.

I have an index.html as my main file and I wanted to have a pop-up window that will also open together with the index file. the pop-up window is a notepad like type, file name is clipboard.html.

Addon: i started adding code to have the pop-up to stay on the right side of the screen and always on top.

As of right now, all codes are very confusing and i decided to delete and start from scratch.

Can you guys fill in the blanks?

However, I would like my dynamic table to show on the same page as my body and not on a new blank page. I have created a DIV and try playing around with the document.getElementById('monTab').innerHTML but it's not working out for me ...

What am i missing ?

Hi Gurus,

Please find the attached html that i am working on. this has 3 columns and the 3rd column is 'Show Comments' link. when I hover the link it should display the html page on top my existing page like a tooltip.

For Example:
In this forum, when hovered on each topic, the topic description is displayed as tool-tip.

I am trying to open some SWF videos from an HTML page. When the user clicks the link, I would like to have the videos open in a transparent window (not a separate browser wndow).

I have figured out how to embed the files and have them open in a transparent window as soon as you load/refresh the page but I want to open the SWF using a link.

Any suggestions?

I have an older website consisting of frames (html). Now I want to password protect one page. So far I added the following Javascript which I found on youtube:

This works but the protected page opens in a new window not in the main frame. What do I have to add and where?
Will search engines pick up this page and display it on the public?

Hi,

I want to restrict opening my popup window if it is already opened. For simple scenario, it is quite possible to do but in my case --

1) When parent page is opening popup window, it is getting refreshed (required from client for some reason).

2) Once submit button is clicked from popup window, again parent page is getting refreshed (again its a requirement from client side).

With these 2 conditions, I lost my saved value from variable and hence new popup is keep coming when the action is same.

Currently I am using below code to open popup

I do write some php, but have not much idea about JavaScript.

I use window.open to open 10 pages simultaneously. I prefer to open them with a time delay from each other to put less load on the target server. This is my code with no delay. (I played around with setTimeout but can't get it to work.)

I'm working on a website that will basically embed a widget/frame sent by a handler into a user's current page. The user basically adds a script tag to where they would like the HTML to be. The script tag has their settings and is basically a document.write that calls all the code that we want displayed.

So here's my problem. We have a map that we need to add in a specific section, and to get the map we have to call another script tag. So we end up having a script tag (map) embedded in another script tag (the code for the widget/frame) or we end up having to document.write inside a document.write.

Now this works just fine and as expected in Firefox, Safari, and Chrome. However, Internet Explorer and Opera wait until the first document.write is completely finished before calling the embedded one. Of course the problem with this, is that it takes the map out of the document's flow and just appends it to the bottom left of the page. Since the rest of the page has already been called, there's no way to move the interior "map" script.

Any ideas? Basically just trying to figure out how (if even possible) to render an embedded script tag in Internet Explorer and be able to place it properly. I've tried everything that I can think of, including AJAX and Google's unescape script.

Any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it. Or even if you've encountered a similar problem, and know that it just isn't possible in IE or Opera, that would be fine too.

window.open() doesn't open an entirely new window in FF3.6, just a new tab

Edit: Yeah, ok, so if i specify a size smaller than the current standard window, it'll be forced to open a new window. but what if i want a new standard sized window to open entirely? and in any case, i wan t amore direct solution where possible, thanks.

I have a html file and a separate javascript file.

The html file contains: <input type="reset" id = "resetButton" />

I want a message to pop up if the reset button is pressed.

So in the js file I have:
document.getElementById("resetButton").onclick = doAlert;

doAlert is a function that simply does: alert("Do you want to reset?");

I know my separate js file is linked correctly because if I just put in alert("hello"); in the js file then it works. But if I use the document.getElementById thing in the js file, then there is an error. The error, according to the error console, says that "resetButton" is null. Can someone help me? thanks!

Hello everyone. I'm having a little problem with creating a element in internet explorer. The element that I'm creating is a div with a few style attributes to to it. The div is suppose to cover the whole page almost like a black transparent window on the page. However it is not. The messed up part about this is that it works fine in Firefox, google chrome and I'm sure other browsers (though haven't tested) and when I go to apply the div in my actual code as javascript is suppose to when you tell it create it, it works fine. No problems whatsoever... I'm not to sure what I'm doing wrong here and it would be great if I could get some help with this.
