JavaScript - First Time Using Javascript, Tearing My Hair Out...

I can't for the life of me figure out where I'm going wrong with the scroll bar... I think I've got all the html and css correct, I have to assume there's a javascript error but I can't find it... could I have a javascript conflict? If you guys have any insight I would appreciate it, this is driving me up a wall. Similar Tutorials1 down vote favorite I do have the countdown script (see link below) to display the time between current time and the date given in real-time. However, I want to achieve to display the time difference between a given start and end time. Right now, it calculates from the current server time to the end time. Can someone help? I can't figure out why this isn't working the way that I'm logically seeing it... The alternate rows highlight works fine, but the mouseover and mouseout events fail miserebly... When a page loads, regardless of where i mouse over, only the top two rows color in with the mouseOver color. They also don't revert to original coloring. Where am I going wrong? Note: I apologize if it's something little that I'm missing... I'm still new to js Ok, first off I would like to say hi to everyone as this is my first post! Now that we have been introduced, here is my problem. I am trying to create a billing system in which you generate invoices. The way I am going about this is using a table with rows for each item the user is placing on the invoice. I have a script that adds new rows to the table when the user wants to place more than one item on the invoice, thats all fine and dandy. The problem is that I also want to be able to delete any row of the table at any time so that the user can remove items as well. When the user presses the attached "delete" button on the row they wish to remove the delete script gets the table length and changes the id and name of every item in the rows below the one being deleted so that when I submit the data as a form it will have a predictable pattern for getting the post variables. At the moment the script runs fine the first time and does exactly what it is supposed to. The issue is that the second time you run it after it has changed the id and name values for the delete button elements on the lower rows it only makes it to the first alert() call! Kami Hi, I'm not too familiar with javascript but I am trying to find a script which I can enter a specific time and date and when that date is reached the script will alert me with a desired message. (not looking for a calendar) Help would be appreciated Harry When I click the button to open an url (example: http://www.yahoo.com) from a page, I can mark this url/screen name. So the next time I click on the same button, the same window will pop up instead of opening multiple windows. If I have already had the window opened not via the button, when clicking the button, it pops up a new window instead of opening up the existing. Is there a way to check the screen name or partial url of the existing window? If there is a match with the url being called from the button, it will use the existing one. I am trying to make a simple calculator to calculate dBm, Vpp, Vrms. It is basically a conversion calculator. I am brand new to JavaScript and tried to follow a tutorial but I'm coming up short. Hi guys. I'm trying to make a small bit of scripting that will show the current time, updating once every second. What I need is the following: 1. Multiple timezones or GMT offsets (just put me on the right path, I can code them in, 2. Daylight savings time taken into consideration (only for Australia), adding the 1 hour during the times it is needed, 3. Text to show "Open" and "Closed" during different times (open during 8am to 5pm and closed if not 8am to 5pm.)
