Hello Guys, I need some help here.. I have a page that has a grid on it and I have a hidden div(below the grid). When the link is clicked inside the grid it opens the hidden div using the following code for the link in the grid. Here is my code with the PHP id that I need to pass PHP Code: foreach($ct->data as $key => $value){ $ct->data[$key][3]='<a href=#" onclick="part2('.$ct->data[$key][0].');" href="javascript:void();">'.$ct->data[$key][3].'</a>'; Here is the code in my head Code: <script type="text/javascript"> function part2(id) { var part2 = document.getElementById('part2'); if ( part2.className == 'hidden' ) { part2.className = 'visible'; document.getElementById('message').InnerHTML = 'This is the ID: '+id } else { part2.className = 'hidden'; } } </script> Added this to my hidden div to show the id Code: <span id=message></span> Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks, Dan I'm working on a site with someone else and they would like the username to be entered in a form on a page, then passed to a second page that says 'Welcome [username]'. I am aware of how to do this using var prompts on the SAME page, but what about different pages. I'd also like to know how secure this is? The name is being used in a page (i.e. login.php) and passed to another page (i.e. welcome.html). The person has requested Javascript. How could this be done? If there is a better way to do so, what is it?
Hi, I'm looking for help, please. I am trying to setup a donation form for a friend, where someone can click radio buttons for set donation amounts, or click the "other" radio buttons and enter a different amount. The donation amount is then passed over to a secure credit card entry page, hosted by a 3rd party merchant. I can set up all the pre-defined radio buttons to correctly pass on the donation amount to the credit card page, but I cannot figure out how to work the "other" radio button amount. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks! Hello all, Im new to the board, Have a question i cant figure out. This board seems very helpful, so here goes. Im trying to grab certain variables like orderID & Subtotal variables that are posted to the confirmation page. The reason im grabbing these is for a confirmation pixel that is displayed for commission junction. When some clicks on their link, then completes an order, their tracking pixel fires grabs these variables and that way they can track the order confirmaton. The problem is they dont see the tracking pixel firing and its not grabbing the variables. I dont know what to do. Here is the code. maybe someone here can help me?? This is the code that shows on the confirmation page. Im assuming this is where im suppose to grab the variables. Code: //<![CDATA[ var SecureCartOrders = [ {"orderID":154983165,"name":"Max Test","company":null,"email1":"max@maxtest.com","address1":"123 main st","address2":null,"city":"miami","state":"Florida","zip":"33845","country":"United States","fax":null,"phone":"5611112222","secondaryphone":null,"cardtype":"","shipname":"Max Test","shipCompany":null,"shipAddress1":"123 main st","shipAddress2":null,"shipCity":"west palm beach","shipState":"Florida","shipZip":"33405","shipCountry":"United States","status":"Accepted","product":["oil product"],"sku":["FC1246"],"quantity":[1],"price":[0.00],"option":[[]],"productattributes":[{}],"plist":"3598071","Total":0.00,"shippingMethod":"Free Shipping","shippingAmount":0,"grandTotal":0.00,"adtrack":0} ]; //]]> This is the javascript code that im using to grab those variables. The variables that i need are orderID & Total Code: <script type='text/javascript'> var orderId = SecureCartOrders[0].orderID; var subTotal = SecureCartOrders[0].Total; var url ='https://www.emjcd.com/u?CID=111111&TYPE=343000&CURRENCY=USD&METHOD=IMG'; url += '&OID=' + orderId; url += '&AMOUNT=' +subTotal; document.write('<img width=\'20\' height=\'1\' src=\' + url + \'\'>'); </script> I have no idea what else i can do. This is a system hosted confirmation page from a shoppingcart software called, 1shoppingcart.com This form collects info of the customer who wishes to select add-ons that would be applied to their digital photos. Examples of add-ons: Photo makeover Add object or person Crop image Have a look at the form Once a customer selects one of the options (Photo Manipulation or Photo Restoration for example - radio buttons) and then one or more Add-ons (check boxes in the Html form), enter their details and upload a photo, they hit the submit button and it then takes them to the PayPal checkout page where the total amount is shown. (see image below) The Issue: In the PayPal page, it now shows the total amount whichever add-ons you select, however it keeps showing "Add object or person" as well as all the 5 main options (radio buttons on the form) no matter what I select. This will be an issue as I will not know exactly which add-ons the customer has selected. Can someone please help me complete the coding so that the add-ons show on the PayPal checkout page. I look forward to your reply/replies. Kind Regards Rafi p.s: Could this be a possible solution? Even if it is, can someone help by completing the code? In order to send the options/add-ons the customer selects I may need to use the onX and osX variables (Where X is a number starting with 0 and incrementing by 1 see below), These can be used to set options for the add-onsthey select. The onO is the "option name" and os0 is the "option choice". So for example: <input type="hidden" name="on0" value="Photo manipulation"> <input type="hidden" name="os0" value="Whatever add-ons the customer selects"> <input type="hidden" name="on1" value="Photo restoration"> <input type="hidden" name="os1" value="Whatever add-ons the customer selects"> Afternoon All, I have managed to secure some JavaScript code from another site that allows me to access values from within my Google Analytics cookie: <!-- begin Referer Check --> <script type="text/javascript"> var gaJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? I have tried to pass just the source var from within the <script> tags. document.forms["cforms2"].elements["cf2_field_1"].value = source; I have commented out part of original code that I did not think I needed. Any help that can be offered I would be grateful, ultimately I would like to be able to pass all these values to hidden fields. Let's say a web page has a form that submit First Name and Last Name to the next page Instead of filling in the form and hitting submit, can I submit the data in variables and call the next page somehow using Javascript? Thanks OM Hello Coding Forum gurus, I'm hoping to find some help here with a javascript order form. I am currently working on a javascript form that requires field validation as well as a summary page (order confirmation) after every field is entered correctly. At this point I am satisfied with the field validation portion of the script, however, I am not sure how to call a function to display the summary page. here is a description of my dilemma: To begin, the field validation functions are called by the form's onsubmit event handler. Which then works it way through several text field validation functions. After the script finishes validating and checking each field for acceptable input, how do I call a function to display a summary page of the order form? On a side note, the only programming experience I have ever had is with javascript. I have never taken any other programming classes, and I am fairly new to this. Any help would be appreciated. Not sure if I am allowed to post the entire script here or not but I'd be willing to send to anyone that would like to take a look, HUGE THANK YOU in advance to anyone that takes time out of their busy schedules to take a look. i am trying to pass the a variable "oneone" from a select box to a php page via java script. this is my html Code: <div id="wrapper"> <div id="content"> <form> Select a Customer: <select id="oneone" name="oneone" value=""> <option value="s_last">last</option> <option value="s_first ">first</option> <option value="c_city">cirty</option> </select> </form> <div> <form method="get" action="" class="asholder"> <small style="float:right">Hidden ID Field: <input type="text" id="testid" value="" style="font-size: 10px; width: 20px;" disabled="disabled" /></small> <label for="testinput">Person</label> <input style="width: 200px" type="text" id="testinput" value="" /> <input type="submit" value="submit" /> </form> </div> </div> this is my javascript Code: <script type="text/javascript"> var options = { script:"test.php?json=true&limit=6&", varname:"input", json:true, shownoresults:false, maxresults:6, callback: function (obj) { document.getElementById('testid').value = obj.id; } }; var as_json = new bsn.AutoSuggest('testinput', options); var optionsa = { script:"test.php?", varname:"one", json:false }; var as_jsona = new bsn.AutoSuggest('oneone', optionsa); </script> and the little part of my php Code: $input =$_GET['input']; $q =$_GET["one"]; can someone PLEASE tell my why i cant get this to work!!!
