Here is my code... Code:
  Code:

Name:

Age:

Email:

Password:

Similar TutorialsHi and thanks for taking the time to help me. Just to say in short, I'm a musician and not a programmer, the only thing I have learned is html many years ago, however JS and Java I have never done at all. About 6 month ago I asked a colleague of mine to make me a new website. All went very nicely apart from one little detail as the title says. The popup window with the music player (me playing), keeps on going in the background as soon as a person continues to browse through the page. Unfortunately, my colleague hasn't answered any of my emails asking him to fix it, and therefore I found this forum through google with hope that perhaps you'd be able to help me out. I have found the part of the code that shows the function to open a new window (in the

part of the page). Here it is:

Here is the part which is already in the
of the page

My colleague is Polish and hence the Polish language of the function and the htm file. If it would be more usefull for you to see the actual website, then I can of course give you the adress as well, but perhaps the code above would do. In any case, I thank you for any help or advice you can give me. Greetings Daniel hello everybody! this is my first atempt in writing javascript and i have a problem which I have no idea how to solve. I was asked to redo a menu for this site: http://www.listlabs.com/index.php It was originally an imaged based menu, but they wanted it all changed to css/html. I used quickmenu and it used JS to produce the arrows at the top of each menu item. Now to my question... I'm trying to program the menu items to stay active when on the current page. At first, it looks correct, but if you hover back over the menu, it changes back to the inactive state. Any help would be great! Thanks. I want to make a very simple XUL document. Just a simple basic window to be opened up, but, i want the XUL to Load and Render an HTML File. I'm not sure about what function(s) to call to achieve this, can anyone give me any ideas to go on? here's what i have so far use my JavaScript Function called LoadFromDisk(FileName), if the file is there or the load is sucessfull, it can be stored as a variable. And then i have a single Division in the XUL document called RenderWindow. From there i set the innerHTML of the RenderWindow to the data that was loaded from the disk. Is this the right way? thanks You are given a mathematical expression containing integers and the basic operations: *,+,-, /. Find the number of unique results that can be obtained by parenthesizing the expression differently. i.e., by changing the order of evaluation of the operations. Note that all operations are integer operations. For example, if the input is 2 ∗ 3 + 6/2, your output should be 4. Plzz help me with this qs......... How can you add/substract two numbers in javascript if they are written out as words such as one|two|three|four|five|six|seven|eight|nine|ten. Code: if ((word[0].match(/one|two|three|4|five|six|seven|eight|nine|ten/)) && (word[1].match(/plus|add/)) && (word[2].match(/one|two|three|4|five|six|seven|eight|nine|ten/))) { document.result.result.value = "The answer is ?"; return true;} I'm trying to use cufon, except..I'm not fully sure how I'd replace the text. I want to replace the text in the navigation bar I have built. I tried to use this to no avail.. Code: Code: .snow #menu{ border:none; border:0px; margin:0px; margin-top: 20px; padding:0px; font-size:16px; font-weight:bold; float: right; } .snow #menu ul{ height:38px; list-style:none; margin:0; padding:0; } .snow #menu li{ float:left; padding:0px; } .snow #menu li a{ color:#2eb8e7; display:block; font-weight:normal; line-height:38px; margin:0px; padding:0px 10px; text-align:center; text-decoration:none; } .snow #menu li a:hover, .snow #menu ul li:hover a{ color:#ffffff; text-decoration:none; } .snow #menu p { clear: left; } How do I re-write this from VBA to JAVASCRIPT? Code: For i = 0 To num_fields - 1 Forgive me, im still new at this stuff. Thanks. Jay Hi I make a query to a database, normally it gives back a 0, now I want that the script keeps in touch with the database till the row gives back one. Till now I made it with a setInterval and went through the function again and again, but I think it's not really good for the database. Can't the function wait in the query till comes back a 1 and then doing something? Here is what I got so far: Quote: function latestCheckFB() { var query = FB.Data.query('SELECT uid FROM page_fan WHERE page_id = 164524456919432 AND uid = 100001762758708'); query.wait(function (rows) { if (rows.length > 0) { // like found var msg = "you like it"; $("#halloA").text(msg); }else{ var msg = "you do not like it"; $("#halloA").text(msg); } }); } setInterval(function() { latestCheckFB(); }, 100); Hello, I am new to javascript. Below is the code that opens a new window when the user clicks on the button "Click here to see". But the code resides outside the . As far as i know javascript codes have to be between these tags to work. How will the "window.open" statement work? Code: I don't know much about programming but I can't figure out how this works and I want to implement it on my site. I want to copy the code from this page sdapc.com/billing/pay-online.html and implement something similar. I understand that the form uses post and then goes to form-action.php and the information is verified using the script.js, but how is the information sent anywhere. I mean, I don't see any reference to any script that compiles the data and sends it to the billing department. How do they get the info??? Thanks in advance. P.S. If anyone knows of similar scripts or methods out there of doing this I'm all ears (or eyes) This would just be temporary until full automation is developed. For now, I don't mind entering their info into PayPal myself. So erm. Hello there. I fail at javascript, and yet, I'm trying it. Anyways, I'm working on this thing. It's an extension for google chrome very similar to firefox plugins and so on. I'm making an extension so that, when installed, it changes the look of facebook completely. I have successfully changed the colors. However, I am having some trouble getting my javascript to change images. If anybody out there has some insight on what I'm doing wrong, I am glad to accept any kind of help that anyone is willing to give me, lol. What I've done so far: I have to change the facebook logo (what I'm trying to do now) and then change the links, and very few more things, and I'm done. Problem: I can't figure out how to change the image. I can change the background color, as you saw earlier. I just need a code to change the image. The CSS behind it is: Code: #pageLogo a{background:#3b5998 url(/rsrc.php/z8S5R/hash/ez3x5cuc.png) no-repeat -21px 0;display:block;position:absolute;height:31px;left:-6px;width:103px;top:10px} and the HTML implementing it is: Code:

and my structure of javascript is: Code: for(i=0;i<=document.getElementsByTagName("div").length;i++) { if(document.getElementsByTagName("div")[i].id != null) { if((document.getElementsByTagName("div")[i].id=="blueBar")) { document.getElementsByTagName("div")[i].style.backgroundColor='#B22222'; } if(( document.getElementsByTagName("div")[i].id == "headNavOut")) { document.getElementsByTagName("div")[i].style.backgroundColor='#8B0000'; } } } }); I appreciate any help anyone's willing to give. Is there a way to create new lines on a array. so if a array cald questions and theres two value questions [0] and questions [1] can i make a function that would create a questions [2]. So i am also wondering if i could do things with a array like sql? Edit: Wrong SPelling Hey guys, I am working on building a new site and was wondering if I could get some clarity on something with JS, as I am el noobo. I have the basic layout he http://www.temp3.hangnailproductions.com/ Now this is just a mock up and I plan to validate the code, make it more semantic and clean up my CSS quite a bit, but right now I just want to get an idea of what I have to do and something has caught my eye. When the page loads, it takes quite a few seconds for the javascript I have attached to populate a few areas on the screen. At the top of the page there is a random testimonial and the current date. Both are populated from this script: http://www.temp3.hangnailproductions.com/js/master.js I don't know if these areas take a few seconds because my code is horribly wrong, too large, or if this is just normal. Does the array that holds the testimonials hold too much information? I would really appreciate some help. Also, the section that says "This should be a small blurb about the link above." is going to be a snippet of text that changes when a user mouseovers a main link at the top. I think this will also be JS and included in the same "master.js" file - thoughts? Thanks very much. (And I know it is ironic that I am asking for help on a site that sells web design, but Javascript is not something I plan to push, and if need be I would hire someone to help with any in-depth JS. I thought this would just be a simple little project...) |
