JavaScript - Is This Possible - Set Variable Based On Checkbox Value?
Can anyone tell me how I can check to see if a checkbox has actually been checked or not?
The code I need to use this in basically gets data from a form which has alot of dropdowns and a checkbox in it. The function builds a query based on the values it finds in these variables. I was trying to check to see if the checkbox was selected and if so assign a value to another var but I can't seem to get it to work. Any ideas? The checkbox is called pics. if (pics.checked) { var photos = "Yes"; } else { var photos = "No"; } if (pics.checked == 1) { var photos = "Yes"; } else { var photos = "No"; } Any help much appreciated. I found few good scripts but I've got a problem to adapt them.. The script below can filter results based on criteria (that you can select via checkboxes). The results displayed are checked or unchecked boxes. What I want is : display results with div (for ex:<div>result1</div>) and not checkbox. How can I do that? Thanks for your help Hey all, I'm trying to get the two followup questions underneath the checkbox to show up only if someone places a check there, but for some reason the way I've got it set up now it's simply hiding the area I want to show up altogether, and the checkbox has no effect on it. If I manually write out "2/22/2012 4:00 PM" in TargetDate, I get the correct result for what I want to do (a countdown). But I want the countdown to always be the current day at 4pm. I am making a google CSE for a client site and I need to concatenate checkbox values together on the end of another form value.
