Similar TutorialsI want to be able to display a table of images, all the same size, click on any one and show a corresponding htm pages in an iframe, click outside the ifram or on it to close it; click on another image and on and on... So far, I am able to hide the initial iframe and/or display it inline but am unable to show it above the table that holds the images. It is not difficult to do this using screen-captured images of the htm pages but I am looking for a dynamic way of doing this either with javascript or php or just plain html. The htm pages contain a recipe with an photo and text in a <table>. If needed, I could whip up a small demo. Any help would be much appreciated. BUT i've hit my first brick wall... I am setting up a (big) panel of text which i wish to present in a more reasonable fashion by hiding the content and only showing the headers. Got the Hide:Show function working ok as shown below, but I am stuck on my next requirement... P.S: sorry if i have made any stupid mistake.. i am quite new to this!! Hi need a bit of expert help with some thing i am trying to achive but cant find any code on line. all i want to do is to have a list of items in a div box on the left of the screen and when i click on one of them it shows a div box with the related text on the right side of screen in the second div box and hides any previouse showing divs on the right. Thanks Ralph i'm still a relative noob and this has me stuck - i have a save button with a "save as copy" in the save dropdown list. add new item directs to a premade/formatted project that is used as a template, so on that item i only want/need the "save as copy" but on all other items that use the form i need to only have the "save" function. is there any way to either change the function of the button depending on item that is being viewed in the edit screen OR hide the "save" button and only show the button associated with "save as copy - and vis versa for the rest of the items?? current button code is - protected function getToolbar() { $options = array(); $user = JFactory::getUser(); $create_ms = $user->authorise('core.create', 'com_pfmilestones'); $create_task = $user->authorise('core.create', 'com_pftasks'); $options[] = array( 'text' => 'JSAVE', 'task' => $this->getName() . '.save'); $options[] = array( 'text' => 'Save as new project', 'task' => $this->getName() . '.save2copy', 'options' => array('access' => ($this->item->id > 0))); PFToolbar::dropdownButton($options, array('icon' => 'icon-white icon-ok')); item used as template is id=8 any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. Hello all, firstly I'm trying to make a button which you press then it will create a text box, I'v seen scripts that hide / show a text box, but every time you press this link I want it to display another text box. Example Below. I'v created what I want in HTML, but when a player clicks the link it needs to display a new box everytime. Code: <input type='text' size='50' id='jsuniquecode'> This is my html box which I would like to show. thanks! I'm sure the code must not be that different to the ones which show / hide an item. Thanks for reading my thread and it would be much appreciated if somebody could help me figure out where I should start etc. Thanks. Hi, I have a textual "link" that, when clicked, I want the text to change, and I want a number of checkboxes to be toggled on or off. Here's my code. Currently, I just have the text changing - I don't know how to simultaneously check/uncheck checkboxes. Code: <head> <script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript"> <!-- toggle off and on, currently unused --> function checkAll(checkname, exby) { for (i = 0; i < checkname.length; i++) checkname[i].checked = exby.checked? true:false } <!-- changes text on click, currently used --> function exp(obj) { if(obj.oldText) { obj.innerHTML = obj.oldText; obj.oldText = null; } else { obj.oldText = obj.innerHTML; obj.innerHTML = 'Check All'; } } </script> </head> <body> <div id="checkboxes"> <table bgcolor="#DCDCDC" cellpadding="10"> <tr><th colspan="11" align="left"> <a href="#" onclick="javascript:exp(this);">Clear All</a><br/> </th></tr> <tr align="center"> <td>Check1 <br><input type="checkbox" name="checkGroup" value="chk-1" checked="yes" /></td> <td>Check2 <br><input type="checkbox" name="checkGroup" value="chk-2" checked="yes" /></td> <td>Check3 <br><input type="checkbox" name="checkGroup" value="chk-3" checked="yes" /></td> </tr> </table> </div> </body> Thanks for reading! Hello, I have the folowing code but it seems to be broken between "SM Decision Support" and "Incident and Request Management". Does anyone know how I resolve ?. The idea is when somebody opens the page all the sections are hidden/uncollapsed and the user can collapse individually each section with a click or by hitting the expand/collapse all link. ------------ Have placed code in attachment as too long for this section I don't know a lot about Javascript... still learning.. I am trying to create a show/hide effect that displays an image based on the users text input. I have coded this before for a list/menu and it works fine. With this particular project there are too many selections to choose from to put in a list/menu. I am trying to use if and else if statements to make this work. With the code the way it is only the first function on the list works. I tried just using repeating if statements and only the last function on the list works.
