JavaScript - Pop-up Window Doesnt Work In Ie8
I use a basic pop-up window code that i have used for many years. I probably need to update it, but i was wondering why it will work for every browser but IE8. Can anyone help?

I have a problem with one simple script, which works in every browser, just not in IE6 and IE7. You can see the script at http://bbtalk.eu/iframe.html - when you click on the iframe, you should see "clicked at the bottom". But it doesnt work in IE6 and IE7. Do anyone know how to fix that? Thank you

The reason we need to use a jquery/javascript action to add the class to the navigation is because it doesn't refresh when a new page loads. For instance, when you're on the home page and click on the tab "Experience RGW", it only loads the content for that page below the header (within the "#ajax" div). Currently, none of these scripts are working. There is no reason they shouldn't... could there be something else causing the page not to recognize the jquery script and run it on-click? I am making a website where when the user clicks on a hyperlink in a list, a new browser window opens and displays a file called "faqs.html". The code for my function so far is: Code:

Thankfully Anes The photo html files on the Fanac Fan History project's website are setup to be displayed properly when JavaScript is disabled and reformatted by a php script when JavaScript is enabled. The reformatting adds some features and positions each photo's caption and credits based on the width of the photo and the browser's page width. This worked well except that, when a photo page was accessed the browser's back button wouldn't work properly. This was because I had failed to include the replace option in my windows.open statement. The statement now reads fileWindow = window.open(fileURL, "_self", "", true); and this has cured the problem with IE but it still doesn't work with FireFox. Oddly enough it worked correctly with Google's Chrome with/without the replace and with Opera and Safari it also sort of worked without the replace.
